NIC speed 10 Mbps on bond0
Hi All, I am on the latest version of Opmanager but all Linux systems with NIC bonding show only 10 Mbps speed. By default only the bond0 interface is detected which is the expected behavior. The screenshot shows the list of interfaces after rediscovery I think bond0 should always be set to the lowest value either eth0 or eth1 is set to. Any ideas? Dirk

Service Desk Plus and CheckPoint SecureClient
Hi, I need a help! We have installed on our Laptop the CheckPoint VPN SecurClient and we can not scan (make inventory) im ServiceDesk Plus. When I am going under Properties from LAN Connection an disable the ScureClient Service, than it works. Today in Germany in a AdventNet Workshop, I heard, that we must add the IP Address from ServiceDesk Plus Server to on CheckPoint "Friend-List". What does it mean? do you have manual? User Operator Groups
We added a user as operator and gave the ownership of a group. When they logon to the the Home page they see the message "There are no Monitor Groups owned by you" although if they browse to monitors they can view the monitors in the group they own. Jon Cavallo
Adding srw2048 to OpManager
Hi, I am trying to add my srw2048 switches to OpManager. I have some experience with OpManager so i am not a total noob. But the srw2048 doesnt accept the credentials when i provide them with in OpManager. I have set up SNMP and set it to v2. The snmp looks like it works from OpManager but the CLI or SSH doesnt. Both cli and ssh is properly configured and could be accessed from any client machine. What am i doing wrong? Please advise.

Audit Notification
Hi, Since upgrading to SDP 7020 we have stopped receiving the notifications informing us of the changes made during a network scan. This is not the first time this has happened and causes a lot more work. Please can you confirm if this will be resovled in the next release as this is an important feature to us. Thanks Sharlene

Unable to log into ADM +
I have been trying to log into ADManager Plus however everytime I do, I am presented with a "Modify User Properties" page. I can update my contact details and see my user profile. This is not the screen I was expecting to see. Any ideas?

Hi, New to these forums, and have had a mighty good trawl through previous posts to see if this one has come up (so apologies if it is answered elsewhere), but I am looking for some information/help on the following: At present, from doing some initial testing and evaluation of the tool, it appears as if you cannot link SLA's to IT Services. Is there something I have missed here, as this is the whole point of an SLA?? Dave

Scanning mac systems
From what I understand, SD+ should be able to scan Macintosh systems and Linux systems, but I'm having difficulty getting that to work. It just gives an RPC error when it reaches a Mac, which isn't helpful because of course a Mac doesn't have RPC/DCOM running. I've got 2 Mac Pros and 2 Macbook Pros in our Marketing department I'd like to scan in, any assistance would be appreciated. I'm assuming I probably need to change something on the Mac to allow the scan to happen (does it scan over SSH or something
SDP+ 7.5 Feature
It would be nice to see a tech on call option in the availability chart so that users can know who to call for after hours support, and when they click on it it should give information on how to get a hold of that tech. Also, there needs to be a way that this can be auto scheduled every month so if your in a 3 week on call rotation you can see it in the calendar that way. I'm surprised this was not thought of in the initial development of 7.5.
Assets Failing Scan
I have a number of assets that could not be scanned for a number of reasons. Some of these are currently switched off, others are laptops that aren't on the network, some are for other reasons. sd+ stopped discovering (unknown workstation)
running 7.0.0 Build 7013 not sure when this happened but now whenever we attempt to scan we get an error "Unknown workstation" and fills in the workstation info with blank info so I have to delete the workstation, turn off the firewall on the workstation and scan again and then turn back on the firewall. Please, this was all working fine before with a global policy for firewall in place. this is getting so old

Additional Fields Not Visible - 7.5 Beta Version
Team, Any "New Request Additional Filed" is added in beta version, the same wont appear in New Request Form. Could you please let me know the fix for the same. Also i don't see Request Form Customizer and Request Preview. Has this been removed in this version. Regards, Arvind

Problem adding new device

Adding DialIn field to all users ADreport
I've been trying to add a field to the All Users report under ADReports. I've selected add/remove columns - Add Custom Attributes & put in msNPAllowDialin as my LDAP name to generate a column displaying my dial in users & tried all different data types. This adds a column but does NOT populate the column with the dial in users - what am I doing wrong?? Have wasted much time on this. I can run a seperate 'Dialin Allow Access' report but I want all the info in 1 report... I also need a column showing
SD Survey fails to show questions
Morning, I have just setup a survey on my system, but when the survey is sent to a user, it does not show any of the questions. All it shows is a box that says "Welcome Null" and only allows the user to add comments, but when the submit button is pressed, it fails to send anyway. Have you got a fix for this please, as this is an area we are being pushed on. thanks Pete
Address formatting issue
Looking at our purchase orders I noted that the frmatting of mailing addresses for the Vendor details, Shipping Address, Billing Address are all formatted improperly. At least for the states it is. Typically it is formated in the following: Address (which includes the number and street name) City, State. Zip/postal code So an address block would look like this: 10201 N. Port Washington Rd. Mequon, WI. 53092 Currently in SDP v7019 it looks like the image attached. Anyone else ever really see this?

Hi all, Since I'm new to SD+ I've alot of questions when going through the system. Basically my duty is to workout a new procurement workflow and make use of SD+. I'm wondering how would you guys handle a bulk PO, same item for different departments. Say we'd need to purchase PC, HW & software for 100 people, everybody will be allocated the same resources. How could I input under "Asset". Since the PC & HW come with different serial number, does it mean that I've to input 100 entries under "Assect"
About Remove all the request
Dear Support We are about to roll out SD Plus for production. We would like to keep the configure and setting. And clear all the testing data we previously created. Please kindly advice on the best way to remove all the request completely. Allowing requesters to edit servicedesk requests?????
How do I enable my users to be able edit opened requests? Sometimes, users need to edit their requests, unfortunately the opened requests do not have a feature enabled which will allow them to edit requests. Is there an option to give them this feature or is simply opening a new request the only option they have?
Impossible to Create Comprehensive Solutions!!
WTF!!!!! Are there limitations on creating solutions that I am not aware of??? Such as it can't be more than a certain length in characters, or it can't have more than a certain number of images in them?? It seems that anything more than a few paragraphs causes problems. Has anyone else seen issues with creating solutions? Is there anything I can do to stop information/images from disappearing as I save the solution? I am very frustrated with this.
