Traffic is not monitored
Hi! I have a problem with one of our Linux servers. No traffic is monitored there. The credentials work correct (SNMP and CLI). The port is shown as "available" but no other data will be collected. How is that possible? What am I doing wrong? My version is OpManager 8024. Hope you can help me solving this problem! Kind regards, Mok
Performing a GET command on a folder in MibBrowser
Hi, I'm developing an SNMP Agent and I'm having some trouble when I perform a GET command over a folder. When I do that, OpManager seems to make about 2k requests to my SNMP agent always asking for the folder's OID instead of it's leaves' OIDs. So my question is: how can I make OpManager cycle through every leaf of a given folder? Thanks for your replies, Francisco.
Encrypted CLI authentication passwords
Hi! If I want to use CLI I always have to change the ssh configuration at my Linux systems. The PasswordAuthentication setting has to be set to yes (accepting clear passwords). In my opinion this isn't the right safety concept. It would be very nice to send CLI authentication passwords encrypted. Is that possible?? Kind regards, Mok
Performance monitors do not work all of a sudden
Hi all, we are using Opmanager for our customers, all of a sudden the performance monitors for a few customers - not all- stopped working. Hello, In the Standalone Audit method, ran the script and the XML file was created successfully. When importing it, it states success, however in the software tab, there is none listed. I checked the XML file that the script created, and it does list all the software, but did not bring it over to the Asset details. Thanks,

Hi There Just wondering if the current version of service desk allows different templates to be configured per site We have multiple corporate entities all pointing into the one portal and wish to customise it for each one as much as possible. Problem with software assets / database corrupt?
When I add a new software license and edit this asset afterwards the form is not the license form but the standard asset form (see attached images). Is there a wrong configuration in the product type "software" perhaps? How can I correct the problem? Regards, Peter
Separate Templates for different Sites / Departments
Hello Just wondering if this version of service desk allows templates to be available to users in one site and not another? We have many separate corporate entities all logging into the one Portal and dont want them to see each others templates as it would become quite confusing. On that note is there a way to customise individual logo's for different sites / departments as well? Regards
Requesters and Active directory
I am stuck at the requesters tab. I can't import AD since I (assume) don't have permissions (domain level as servicedesk plus puts it) on the domain controller to import the accounts. I try to import a "csv" file that has all the users that would be considered requesters. I am not sure about the self service access details. Apparent loss of historical traffic record
Hello, We're running NetFlow Analyzer 7.0 (build 7000) on RHEL 4.0 and recently noticed that the historical information has either disappeared or is no longer being displayed. Traffic graphs and data points display for no longer than 15 minutes at best (often 10 minutes). Disk space is NOT an issue. We're configured to maintain 3 days of raw dataand we've only used 67 of our licensed 100 interfaces. Restarting the services on the server has not helped. If someone could please point me toward

Public viewable page without logon
We have a monitoring station that cycles through several websites, all server/app monitoring pages in our support office. Looking to see if we can get a default dashboard (say for a Guest user) view either published by ELA host on a timed basis without logon, with an auto-logon method and/or have ELA publish a view or report to an HTML file we could then allow control access via the web server to allow our script to cycle through it as well.
Monitoring AJAX progress bar
Our web application has an AJAX progress bar that we'd like to monitor. We'd like to monitor how long it takes for the progress bar to complete, as the progress bar is displayed while an important server-side process in our web application is performed. Is is possible to show some categories-subcategories to the contacts (using the web form access) and other to the support reps?
Using level was an option, but it doesn´t support the sub-levels (like categories support subcategories)
Is possible to change the default authentication for the logons of the Contacts from "Local Authentication" to the AD?
If there any option, I was not able to find it...

It seems to be hit and miss. What option do i need to select that will prompt a user if they are logged in that they need to reboot to finish installing patches. Seems sometimes people get one. Sometimes they don't.

Since daylight savings kicked in we hav had an issue with the time in Servicedesk Plus. When we login we can see the correct time along the banner at the top, however when we add notes the notes are time stamped an hour earlier. We have checked the server and it has the correct time. We need to track the serial numbers of products. So, in product list we have a model (Cisco 1812, vendor, manufacturer...). We have 40 routers sold to different accounts. Twelve of them were bought for price x, and sold for y, 4 of them were bought for z and sold for k......and so on. I have an 11 question survey. 5 choices (1-strongly disagree, 2-disagree, 3-agree, 4-strongly agree, not observed). First survey I answered all questions with 1-strongly disagree. Duplicated Monitor Data
HI, I recently deleted a monitor information Apache, MySql, etc... and the name of the server/host was ABC123 for example. I reformat and reinstall that machine but now have a diferent hostname "ABC1" and I can added to the AppManage but when trying to add the other monitors such as Apache, MySql, etc.. Cant load MIB from QNAP TS-509
Trying to upload a mib file I got from the manufacturer QNAP fot model TS-509. However, it cant be uploaded in the MIB Browser. It just says "Cant upload MIB". If i drop the mib file to the Opmanager server in folder Opmanager\mibs I can see it in the browser but I cant select it. Error message: Error parsing MIB:NAS.mib Exception while loading MIB:Could not parse the file C:/Program Files/AdventNet/ME/OpManager/./mibs/NAS.mib.
