Private key (.ppk, .pem) retrieval via the API
Currently evaluating PMP and have nothing but good things to say about the tool. One of the questions that came out of our evaluation was "Can we use this tool to store private access keys instead of storing them on local machines or any shared storage?" To that end, the ability to retrieve and/or transmit private key files stored PMP via the API using SSH or XML-RPC would add significant value to this solution.
PMP HA issues
Hello, We did setup a secondary server for PMP. Under high availability tab on Primary server it shows High Availability Status : Not Running Replication Status : Active PMP service always shows stopped on Secondary server no mattter how many times you start the service with admin privilege. I followed the HA guide on website to setup up HA with PMP pro and mySQL. Both the servers are in same vlan for test purpose so I can assure you there is no network connectivity issue. Thank you.

Auto Login Helper
Hi We created an Auto Login Helper attached to "Windows" Resources, It was approved but when we try to connect from the resource this helper does not come up as an option, only the built in ones. Is there a setting we are missing ?? Thanks Paul

PMP 8.0 Upgrade & License Version
We're currently running version 7600 and looking to upgrade to 8001 but seeing that licensing has changed in this new version I want to verify something. If we are currently running a old premium license will we lose features that we bought before by upgrading to 8001 where now those feature are part of the enterprise license? Are we grandfathered in license wise or will we have to purchase a new enterprise license to continue to use those features? Thanks!
Adjusting RDP Window Size
Hi, When I initiate a RDP through PMP the window launches, the size of the RDP session is relatively small compared to the rest of my screen size (22" 1920x1080 resolution). Is there any way of increasing the session size? Thanks,
About auto login helper
I open a linux server with putty,It does nothing but open to desktop.I have installed putty in my C:\Program Files (x86)\PuTTY.And also copy to c:\windows\system32.I can run it from start > run > command line. After I put the putty.exe file on my desktop.It worked. It's also a trouble with securecrt. why? My os is win7 x64 version.My Trival PMP version is 8.0.
Hiding password when launching auto login helper
Dear sirs I wrote a simple auto login helper to launch putty when the user needs to connect to a Linux system. I don't want users to view passwords, so I set PMP to hide password for some resources: they can only launch the auto login helper. Sharing the password without letting users know the password
Dear PMP users, I have the need to share passwords to password users without letting them know the password, and forcing them to connect to systems via auto-logon. As far as I understood, every shared password is visible to users to whom it's been shared. Is there any way not to let them view the password, but only connect directly to the system? Thanks stefano

Password reset on zOS

Auto Login Helper SSH slowed after update version to 7600 on Chrome
After you upgrade from PMP to version 7600 the Auto Login Helper SSH slowed on Google Chrome. In Firefox it is Ok.
PassManPro broken in Chrome 43

Using AD accounts on "Web Site Accounts" Resource type
Hello ManageEngine, We have some web applications in our environment that use actual Active Directory accounts to logon to. And we would like to make full use of the Remote Password Reset feature with these account types. So, if I change a password of a domain account which is listed under a "WindowsDomain" resource type, is there a way to update new password on the especific "Web Site Accounts" resources which are using that domain account? Launcing Autologon with different browsers
Hi There, Having issues launching servers configured for autologon with different browsers. IE: Launches new tab/window but then prompts to close Chrome: Does not display credentials/reason popup therefore cannot launch autologon Both browsers display the auto logon test window ok PMP v8000, server ports have been changed to be both 443 with domain certificate applied for each. Unable to Import Users from AD during setup
Hi I am on the Import Users from LDAP setup page and even though all mysettings look correct and follow the examples I have seen on the site here, I cannot import users from AD. The error is a little popup window that says "LDAP connection to server failed". Nothing is showing in the logs that I can see. The only potential is that the CN is wrong for the user authenticating to AD but its very difficult to find the cn of users in AD so I might be wrong there. Any tips on verifying the CN of a user

Recovering PMP Primary after HA Failover
We have PMP running on Linux in HA configuration using Postgres databases. If we have a failure on the primary server, the secondary is available for us to continue access existing resources, but how do we recover the database on the primary? Is restoration of the database backup our only option, or can the secondary re-sync all data back to the primary?

I have build 6505 running against a MySQL database on a Windows 2008 R2 server currently. My manager has asked me to build a replacement for this I need to install the latest version (build 7600) on a brand new Windows 2012 R2 server with an SQL database as the backend. There will be a short period where both servers will have to run concurrently while we confirm successful migration before we shut down the original, this is to ensure we can rollback if necessary. missing imported resources
In password manager pro, I've imported workstations from an OU in my domain. When I go to AD, it says that I have over 7800 workstations. But when I go to Password Manager Pro, it says I only have 981. I've tried re-importing the workstations, but it says that the devices are already in. Help! Thank you!

RDP Screen Size + 2 factor
Hello We are evaluating PMP as a possible replacement for our current PIM solution and in general it is an interesting product. A couple of questions: 1. Do you have any solution for the limited screen size of browser RDP sessions? It is probably properJavaRDP in the back, so in that case it should be possible. We have Password Manager Pro 6.7 and want to go to 7.6. Our data is on MS SQL. Would it be better to upgrade slowly to 7.6 or just install 7.6 on a new server and re-connect the database there? Boss wants upgrade, I want to install on new server. Which is a better route? Thank you!

Resource Group insecurity
We believe the following shows an security bug in "Passwords owned and shared" scope for users: - create any new users (A and B) - make User A a password admin; make user B password admin or password user. - set both users' Access Scope to "Passwords owned and shared" - User A creates a resource group with a criteria like "Resource Name does not contain ZZZZZ" (ie match every resource that is in scope). - User A can only see resources "owned and shared" in this resource group - this seems correct.
Use domain account to logon within Auto Logon and LaunchRDP

We have some domain accounts by using Auto Logon Gateway and put domain accounts in a resource group call as "AD" Now we want to use same domain account with a computer resource by using LaunchRDP, but that only can use in My Passwords and must add that domain account to this resource. Website of the secondary server reloads again and again
Hello there, I just updated our primary pmp server to 7600. After the update I set up a new HA secondary server. The database HA works good, but as soon as the primary is down and I want to access the website of the secondary server I get a problem. The login page is displayed normaly but right after the successful login the sides loads again and again. After a minute the browser crashes. This happens with all browsers I testet (FireFox, Chrome, IE 11). I already deleted all cookies and restarted

Landing servers - agent required?
I am running PMP on a Windows server and I want to use another Windows server as an SSH jump box/landing server to connect to network devices. In this configuration, how does the PMP server launch the connection on the intermediate server so that it can display the SSH output? Is the agent required?
