Deleted Device data
Hi, I have accidentally deleted one of my db server from OpManage and then add it back. But all previous data (e.g. CPU, Memory, Disk util) related to that box has been lost. Is there any way I can have all the previous data back?? Or does it delete all the releated data along with the device? ~/Ovi
Device associated URL monitors -- problems with maintenance
I have a couple development / testing servers which each have about 9 URL monitors listed under them. I have reocurring maintenance downtime scheduled for Wednesdays at 4:45am on those devices. Today the maintenance was performed 2 minutes early, so we received several "service down" notifications for the URLs, which btw, on the notification profile URL category is not checked. Notification Profile Issue
I am trying to setup a notification profile that sends an email only if a threshold value has been exceeded. Attached is the notification profile setup. I've associated this notification profile to a couple of devices, but when the threshold (WMI disk space in MB) gets exceeded, no email comes through. Monitoring RSSI with Trangolnk10 radios
The mibs for these radios load fine. The problem is that I cannot use OPmanager to monitor RSSI. The mib is unavailable for use but some of the others mibs are available. Is it because the value returned is negative? Has anyone been able to get it to work? If so how? Did you have to modify the mib for it? I am using the mibs provided by the manufacturer. I have gotten them to work in other programs but I would prefer to monitor all my equipment in OpManager. Your help is appreciated. Thanks, Jeff

Associate Custom Monitors
I have two Foretinet firewalls one running firmware 2.8 and one running firmware 2.5. The 2.8 works well (except for a problem reporting the correct interfaces and their status...but I am working on that elsewhere). The problem I have is that the standard Fortinet CPU, Memory and session count Resource Monitors do not work. I have a set up three custom monitors to gather this information and they are working well. My question is, is it possible to assign those graphs to the three graphs at the top
Wrong IF Numbers with OpManager 5.6
I am having the same problem with my FGT60. I am using 5.6 build 5601. WAN2 is showing as WAN1 and it is also showing as down. I think it's all confused! When I click on IP routing table and IP address table, the external address (marked as xxx) swaps interfaces from WAN1 to WAN2. Unable to Backup after Upgrade to 6.0

problems with Debian and SNMP
hi folks, I've installed OpManager on Debian Etch. I don't know why, but I see Debian as Unknown Desktop, and I couldn't see CPU utilization, MEM, etc ... What I've to do? I'd like to run it on Windows Server 2003 64 bit edition. Does anybody see any problems? I know that the wrapper is 32bit only, but as long as I control the stop-start functions without the use of the wrapper, I should be okay. Any thoughts?
integrating op manager with service desk plus
trying to get service desk plus to integrate with op manager but op manager tells me my server is too busy to fetch information. Problems starting OpManager on Debian Sarge
Running Debian Sarge (kernel 2.4.27), have installed trial version of OpMgr 6.0 I'm having the same problem as this thread: forums.adventnet.com/viewtopic.php?t=834 Have installed pkg libgdbmg1, still no go... Graphing negative integer values, ie wireless signals
Some wireless devices enable retrieval of signal strengths via snmp, this would be very useful to graph this information over time. However the values returned a always a negative integer, ie -69 (dBm). Is it possible to retrieve and graph these, or to somehow ignore the - value?
Proliant Traps
Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to use the compaq/hp proliant mibs to create traps in opmanager? Im running verison 6.0 and the built in traps which you provide do not provide me alerts on fan failures, power supply failures, chassis failures etc. These are provided in the mib files from hp. I would also need to receive alerts on disk degradation and failures, again standard hp traps. I have loaded the cpqhost.mib and cpqhlth.mib files and used these to send alerts. Customer Support Portal
I am unable to pull up the customer support portal and knowledgebase site. I have tried from an unfirewalled T1, DSL and through our corp network and none of them could pull up the page. I have emailed support twice now about it but I have heard nothing back. Are the sites down?
Device / URLs --- stop clear msgs, when URL not monitored
We have some development web servers, which it is helpful to monitor several URLs on each. Corrupt database after a power cut.
After a power failiure on a server which hosts OpManager, I started opmanager only to find object not found on everything. I then proceeded to stop the opmanager service and run the batch file that repairs the mysql tables. Everything went fine, or so I thought. URL monitor which requires username and password
Hi, I'm trying to monitor a URL which requires a username and password for authentication. Every time I click the "Check now" buttom it says the URL is down..I am putting a username and password in the verify boxes that has access to the URL. It isnt down I can verify that. Thanks Phil

Disable category domain controllers
In opmanager 6 is a new category named Domain controllers. When i add a domain controller - he was standard in this category - ok fine. But when i change the category to server (because i don't see any information in cause of the not licensed addin) every few minutes he changed back to domain controller!!! Can i disable in any way the category domain controllers? Is it possible that windows has to do with that problem? This message is from the eventlog on opmanager-pc: ---------------------------

Disk utilization
I am having problems getting the disk utilization working on monitoring my linux boxes. I am trying to use SNMP but this returns as if the SNMP is not working. If I try and use CLI then it returns a result of Instance -1 Value 679. Please help.
