Hello we keep getting a discard rate alarm for a switch port (screenshot-43.jpg) However when i go to the monitoring on the device page i can't see any monitoring for discard rates (screenshot_44.jpg) Can anyone point me in the right direction to change the threshold settings for switches? Hello! I have some problem with email notifications. I've created test alert by Settings - Firewall - Alarm Profiles with notification to admin email. At dashbord i see this allert, but allso have error - Failure (Can't find resource for bundle java.util.PropertyResourceBundle, key AlertMail.REQUEST) Mail server settings is correct, test message is ok. Please help.
Setting up alarms for specific thresholds
Good morning I am trying to setup an email alert only for Low Disc Space Alarms however i am struggling to find the option to do this. I can set it to alert when threshold is broken however this is all thresholds and not specific to Low Disc Space. Can you please advise if this is possible and if so how? If it is not possible can i request this as feature? I am using version 12200 Many thanks

Port polling
I have a site that has a Public IP with 4 devices internal that I am Polling on specified ports. When a device goes down and come back up it doesn't clear the alarm. What can I do to fix this issue. I am checking when it sends the alarm but the device is not really off I can still connect to it. Please if someone can help with this issue.

OP Manager Migratation 64 to 32 bit
Hi All ^_^ We are new to this product Manage Engine. Here are the tasks or scenario. Our client is also new to ME OPManager. They have an existing OP Manager which is 64 bit, they already have a configuration or they already added some devices like VM, router and switches but they also want to add their firewall (smart-one checkpoint) but as per our client they are unable to add this firewall device to OP manager because of compatibility issue, need 32bit version to add firewall. I see different % utilization watching rx/tx trffic vs netflow traffic. Supposed to be the same. are the using different units, average or something?? could anyone explain to me please? Background: Its the same device and same interface. set the same capacity (BPS) to the interface (Inventory-monitoring-configure interfaces for RX TX and Inventory-Flowanalysis-Edit summary for netflow) for monitoring Interval 30 sec. and for netflow sample rate 1.

Howdy, Just installed the trial of v12 OpManager and pointed it at an SQL database. As soon as I logged in and put in an IP range to scan, I got a not at the top of the screen that says: BCP not installed on your OpManager server. Please install SQL Native Client for better performance. Can anyone let me know what that's referring to? I wasn't prompted to install anything else during the setup so I'm not sure if I'm missing something or what. The SQL database is on a different server if that makes
How to Add New User with Account Username, Not Account E-mail?
Hi, I noticed when trying to add a new user OpManager does not allow a 'Username' to be specified -- OpManager instead asks for an "E-Mail ID." How can we generate new user accounts with 'Usernames' instead of 'E-Mail ID'? It seems the ability to provide a "Username" was removed at some point, maybe? I would like to know if its possible to view in map (business view): real time information of interface bandwidth. Even adding to NOC view I could not. Reducing the monitoring interval in Threshold Settings to 30sec and adding the map to NOC work. But I wonder the resource implications. another solution? Thanks

Hello, I've created a CCTV/NOC view that I would like to push out to our wall TVs in our operations room but I can't figure out how to get it to auto login? Am I missing something or is there a way to do this? We're running version 12.3.183. While I'm logged in I can access it on this URL http://opmanager/apiclient/ember/index.jsp#/CCTVSlide/301 but I'd like this to auto login on our TVs. SMS escalation in opm 12.3
We have a need for sms escalation localy on the opm-server. With older editions we have had sms-modem enabled but in release 12.3 there is a change in the setup-settings form. The sms-modem haven't been stable for us but sometimes it sends a bunch of messages... We are using opm to monitor default-gw and other network-links and are on a very isolated network so we need gsm-sms from the opm server not depending on external SMS-services/providers How can we setup this in a reliable way? 1.external
