HyperV guest discovery failed after update to 11.1
Hi, I recently upgraded to the version 11.1 of OpManager successfully. Everything seemed ok but I noticed a day or two later that it isn't picking up any of the guests on our HyperV servers. I have tried rediscovering and deleting and re-adding but none of these have made a difference. VMware hosts are still working fine.

Unable to Acces OpManager Web GUI - Recv 'download' File
I have a problem access OpManager Web GUI. After the server was rebooted, I noticed a problem access the OpManager Web GUI. When I enter the URL, I received a message from IE to download/open a file called 'download' or 'LoginPage.do'. I tried stopping and restarting the OpManager service. I checked for any mySQL or Java apps running in the background. I found a JavaUpdate file running. I stopped the Java file and restarted OpManager Service. No change. When I try to access the WebGUI, I still get

Quick question about OpManager Version 10200 WebGUI. I am having an issue access the WebGUI this morning. When I click or type the URL, I received download dialog box at the bottom of the Chrome. Checkpoint Firewall Interfaces
Hi All, My client has added two checkpoint firewall into OPM(v9101), everything goes well. However, client has recently added one add-cards(Gigabytes) into firewall panel. Then, rediscovering the status of firewall on OPM, we still find nothing new about interfaces yet. We has tried to delete the firewall on OPM and added it again. New API in 11.2 still Beta?
Hey guys. Is the the new API still beta in version 11.2? Please tell me it is because it pretty buggy. And its missing quite a bit compared to the original. A lot of the pages we are used to using are gone. And what happened to the detailed pages for our MSSQL server, Exchange Servers, and VmWare servers in the new API?

Hi, I've just taken over an existing OPManager installation and I've noticed that the following directory has been filling up with hundreds of thousands of files; C:\Program Files (x86)\ManageEngine\OpManagerProbe\state\communication\highpriority In this location are "BUFxxxxxxx.dmp" and as I mentioned there are over 600,000 at the moment and growing at 20 per minute. OpManager and Servicedesk same machine
Hi Everyone, A long time ago I used to run OpManager and ServiceDesk Plus on the same virtual machine. There was something I had to change in the conf file though to get it to work. Otherwise what happens is OpManager keeps logging me out. I did a little searching but most of the posts I found are very old. Can this still be done with the newest versions of OpManager and ServiceDesk Plus? On an unrelated note, is there a way to change the email associated with this forum ID? I don't have the address
Dell PowerConnect 62XX MIB Problem
I am trying to compile Dell PowerConnect 62XX MIBs for upload in OpManager. I have used two MIB compilers and received the following error when I attempt to browse the MIB: Error parsing MIB:FASTPATH-SWITCHING-MIB.smidb Exception while loading MIB:Not a valid MIB file : C:/MANAGE~1/OPMANA~1/./mibs/FASTPATH-SWITCHING-MIB.smidb I will attach the MIB files that I downloaded from Dell for my current firmware version (3.3.5.5). Alarms Not Clearing
I added my Cisco routers to the system and then setup the email notifications. To test the notification process, I modified the threshold on one of the monitors so that it would send me my test email. This process did work, but when I cleared the alarm and then turned off the threshold option, the system still states that a monitor is in error even though the router shows no alarms (Clear). Hi I'm trying to change the Utilization threshold for multiple interfaces on a switch and I'm having trouble doing it. I have been to Admin - Device Templates and select the correct template but there is no way to edit the threshold that I want. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
Performance Monitor
I have created a performance monitor for a QNAP device, when I attempt to click the monitor to view 'Free Disk space' for example it is not a clickable link. If I edit the monitor and click the test button it works and shows the the relevant information.

Hi there, As the subject says. For example, a server has several network connected to it (different subnet of course), is there an easy way to somehow setup an email alert if the interface is down? Cluster Shared Volume Disk Space Monitoring?
Hi, I am running OpManager 9.0. Is it possible to monitor the disk space for a Hyper-V failover cluster CSV disk (cluster Shared Volume)? If so can anyone provide further information? I already have a powershell script that will list the free space, used space and percent free but I want to be alerted in OpManager when the threshold falls below 100GB (attention), 75GB (trouble), 50GB (critical). HyperV guest discovery failed since 11.1 update
Hi, I recently updated to OpManager version. Since the update, the guest VMs on our HyperV servers are not showing in OpManager. I have tried re-discovering and deleting and re-adding the hosts but they still do not appear. Our VMware hosts are all still displaying fine. Has anybody else experienced this issue? Does anybody have a fix for it?

I'm moving opmanager and the oputils plug-in to a new server. I've got opmanager running on my new server, but the oputils plug-in is giving me some problems. Hi, I am using the evaluation of OpManager and NCM. When I try to backup the config from a device, It says 'Backup failed - failure response'. The error details say 'Device response not available.'. Create an notification when a switch discards packets
I think my question is simple so I'll keep it sort. We monitor our core switch with OpManager. This works great. If i go to an interface I'll see the load and bytes transferred etc. I see the errors and discarded packets as well. When a switch discards packets, I would like to receive an e-mail. However, I cannot find the right notification profile for this particular error. I've tried to setup a threshold which keep an eye on the discarded packets but I am unable to find the right monitor... What
