Hello, I'm new to API's and trying to get a simple "GetMailServerSettings" query to work. I've done lots of searching, but can't seem to figure it out. Stuck in the log in page after upgrading OP Manager to latest version
Hi Support, I've successfully upgraded our OP Manager from version 8721 to 11100.. I haven't had any problem with the upgrade but when I try to start and connect to the UI I'm stuck in the log in page. I check the wrapper logs (dbserver failed) please see below. Cannot add device
We had a server that was in OpManager but it died and we had to rebuild it from a backup. This was also then removed from the opManager console. Now it is rebuilt I am trying to add it back into OpManager but it will not show. I search for the device but opManager cannot see it. I then click Add Device and it says it has added the device but I still cannot see it. Anyone had this problme before and if so how do I fis it? Thanks. Rob
Can I delay a alarm on a VM performance monitor?
Is there a way to get notified when a CPU exceeds 90% for a period of around 5 minutes rather then just immediately getting notified when it crosses the threshold using the VM performance monitors? With 400+ servers having it alert the moment it goes over is resulting in a constant stream of alerts. However, I do need to be alerted if a server is pegged at 100% for a period of time.
No Trap Parser defined for received trap
Dear I run OPM 10100 and it seems to run fine for months. I'm trying to add new Traps from a software on a defined device, but even if I load the MIB of the trap or I click "Create Trap processor" and just click ok, the traps are still in the Unsollicited trap. I tried to: - stop / start OPM - try snmp v1 and v2c/3 - delete mib / create trap processor from the Unsollicited trap button - delete/reimport the mib - create a DNS entry in the OPM Windows hosts file to be sure the hostname and IP matches

Hello, I am trying to monitor the number of Users per Radio interface on my Cisco 5508 WLC. I have found the correct OID and when I use the MIB Browser, I get the correct information: Here's a small sample output: bsnApIfNoOfUsers.88.188.39.18.206.0.0:-->3 bsnApIfNoOfUsers.88.188.39.18.206.0.1:-->8 bsnApIfNoOfUsers.88.188.39.18.215.240.0:-->1 bsnApIfNoOfUsers.88.188.39.18.215.240.1:-->2 But when I add a new monitor to the device template and test, I always get 0 for every instance. Migrating OpManager
The server we have OpManager running on is about to go away, is there an easy way to migrate the setup to the new OpManager server? I messed around in the interface and I see there is a DB manager, but not sure if that is what I need. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! TS

Hello OpManager support team, How can I monitor the device under 1 minute interval? I tried the agent but it was not the real-time agent like other monitoring tools' agents. I was expecting the real-time CPU or other monitoring parameter which OPM can monitor with CLI/WMI/SNMP. As I know so far, it monitors only the logs. (is this include the EventLog?) So, I'm trying the SNMP Traps and Syslog for real-time anomaly monitoring but it is quite hard to configure the each devices. Actually
Monitoring satellite links?
We use Nagios today for monitoring satellite links to ships. In Nagios we are able to adjust the time out to be very long. This is necessary as the response time can be very slow. Is it possible to adjust these values in OpManager to be able to monitor this type of links? Best Regards Thomas
Delay trigger on VM performance monitors?
Is there a way to put a delay trigger on the VM Performance monitors? I would like to be alerted if a CPU is pegged at 100% for 5 min + on a server, but I don't need to get an email every time a server blips over 90% for 2 sec. With 500 + server it just means I get a constant stream of alerts. I see a way to do it on the WMI monitors, but monitoring at this level isn't as accurate.
Question for Wake-on-LAN

If SSL 2.0 is disabled on a server am i now unable to use URL monitoring?
Hi, We have just disabled SSL 2.0 on one of our servers which we were monitoring a https website. Since then OpManager is reporting that the website is down when it's up and running without any issues. Regardless for http, https, full server name and domain and ip address it has the same issue. I'm just looking for conformation that nothing can be done and i'll just need to monitor the world wide publishing service from now on or something can be done? Thanks D

Notification profile disk space only.
Anyone got a good working mail-notification-profile on disk space use ONLY. eg. like over 90%. Problem is, you have to use(afaik) 'violate any threshold value' so you get an mail for ANY violation. We had to start filtering at our mail system, dropping all but those concerning disk space. Then we process incoming mail in our separate-eventsystem to create disk-event-workorder. Can easily put unnecessary load on our systems.
How can I start the OpManager on Linux?
Hi, I'm trying to start the OpManager on Linux. After sh ./StartOpMangaerServer.sh, there was a hang after "Created table PROTOCOLDETIALS" and it does not works. After that, I have to go for Ctrl+C and tried the startOpmangaerserver.sh but now it hangs at inside add check. I'm using the CentOS 6.4 64 bit. Best Regards. SC Jung

OpManager 10 backup? How?
We upgrade OpManager form 9410 to 10000 and see that backup procedure was changed. If earlier was universal BackupDB.sh which made full OpManager's backup. Now there are some scripts and subdirectory /fileBackUp where is script BackupDB.sh. Phone Call for notification
Is anyone using any type f service or cloud based product to send a notification to a phone? I'm currently using zapier.com and twilio.com to call me and read me the email notification. Add interface to switch problem
Hi, since v11.100 we cannot add interfaces to a switch anymore. When you discover, select one interface, click safe, you get a popup the interface is going to be added. But looking at the interface list, it isn't added. We now have two seperate 11.100 installations which has exact the same problem. We need to add interfaces, is there a fix?

License Issue
We moved Opmanager installation on other server with a full backup restore, after that we have the license expiring message. Also we tried to renew the registration trough the xm licence file, but without any success. Hi, There is a issue with the default medium and big buffer hits for cisco cat4948e. For instance a) OID: .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.34.0 is assigned to the default monitor "Big Buffer Hits". Mib browser GET gives the real value while the monitor test responses with value "0". b) OID:: .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.26.0 - "Medium Buffer Hits" monitor also gives 0 where #show buffers on the switch and mib browser both give n-value.
