Gamatronic UPS
We just puchased a Gamatronic UPS for our computer room. The system has a web interface to it, but we also have SNMP traps being sent to our OpManager server. We are getting the following SNMP traps showing up in the Opmanager trap log, but I do not know how to setup the Gamatronic for Opmanager monitoring. I did review the Opmanager UPS guide, but how do I find the OID codes? All Gamatronic states is that it's agent supports the UPS RFC1628 MIB.. Any help? This is what I get from the OpManager
Migrate to new server
We are replacing the server Opmanager currently runs on. We have it configured to connect to an external MsSQL database. The old server is Windows 2003 New server is Windows 2008R2 I have the 64bit installation downloaded. I would like to know which directories I need to copy directly over after the installation to keep all my monitors updated. Thanks

connect OpManager to SDP
I want to connect OpManager to SDP. When I confige and test the connection I get an error message: Unable to fetch values from ServiceDeskPlus, the server might not be running or the network traffic may be too high. We use Opmanager version 8051 with MySQL and SDP7604 with MSSQL. regards, Edwin
Wrong result in Availability Report for Ethernet interface
When i click the availability report from the interface "snapshot" the report is not working as it should. The report is OK for the "today" time period but shows no data if i change the time period from within the report or directly via the "7days" or "30days" link in the interface snapshot. Add a button to upload a custom icon or background in Business View
It would be really handy if there was an option to upload a custom icon and background image from the Business View Maps properties. I can accomplish this task currently by copy/pasting files to the directory on the OpManager server, but that requires Remote Desktop, which can only be accessed from my workstation. This feature would allow me to add new icons and backgrounds from any web accessible location.

Shortcut in Business View not working as expected. All shortcuts are RED - Critical.
I have made several Business View Maps of our infrastructure, which are drill-down/zoom-in type maps. On each map I have placed a shortcut to go back to the main/overview map which contains shortcuts that are linked based on traffic flow. The problem is that since I added the main/overview shortcut to every map now all of the shortcuts are Red regardless of which device actually has the critical alert. Any ideas how to resolve this?
Devices are not showing in Opmanager Distributed edition
Hi all we have a strange Problem(again) in which I urgently need your assistance. I had an similar Problem a couple of weeks ago,an my first Opmanager installation. ( Support ID 4221392 ). MSSQL Database Monitor
Hello everybody, I have a problem. I installed OpManager v8.0 (build 8051), in Database monitor panel, if I choose the MSSQL named instances = default (SQL Server 2000 with SP4), it just show the name of database, the Active Transactions = N/A; Database size = N/A; ... . But if I choose the MSSQL names instances = SQL2K5 (SQL Server 2005), it show the name of database + the active transaction + database size. (see detail in attach file) Anybody help me?? Device placed outside of map and can't move it...
I added a bunch of new devices to a Business View map and a couple of the devices are off the map on the right side. I can see part of the device name but can't drag the devices. Is there any way to fix this or do I just need to create a new map?

Store a list of previously discovered networks in OpManager/Admin/Discover Devices
We are implementing OpManager for the first time and are adding/discovering a lot of networks that will have devices added from time to time. It would be realy nice to have a list of the networks that we have discovered previously so that we can just click on a network and have it discovered again, instead of having to retype all of the information for each network every time we need to rediscover devices.
Disk Queue Length Not working - Test not passing.
I'm trying to get disk queue length monitor on my Windows 2003 servers but it is not working.. The monitor test will not pass. However, when I go into my passwords for the actual server it passes both the SNMP and the WMI tests.. Please advise. Thanks
Customise Dashboard Graphs to be more readable
Does anyone know if it's possible to make some minor customisations to the graphs shown on any given Dashboard? The two things in particular that we're after is: 1. Fix the vertical scale on bandwidth utilisation graphs at 100%. Increasing Dashboard Space
Hi, I have setup a large screen with a rather cluttered series of widgets that are giving our operations centre as much information as possible about our hosting centre. One question that has come up, and i've had a look around to see if there is a html template anywhere, is increasing the dashboard space by using some of the whitespace borders to the left and right. Using this space I could go from a 3 column layout on a 42 inch screen to a decent 4 column layout. Any help would be much appreciated

How does OPM test router availability? I ´ve too many "one poll missed". ICMP echo packets has the last priority in network traffic. Has this priorization make that to many router polling missed?. Can I get a "one poll missed" report oh a specific router? How ? Juan Cruz.-
CPU and memory bar in the maps "List view"
Hi, I created a custom template for a Juniper switch EX4200. I configured the monitoring of the CPU and the Memory. I also changed the "opmanager_snapshot_dial.xml" to see the dial on the device detail. I would like to see the same information also in the List view. See the attached file. As you can see the CPU and memory bar are always 0 even if looking the device detail you can see that the memory is 5%. How I can do that? Thanks, Roberto D.
