I had a software install push out a self-contained virtual application and now need to delete it from certain desktops. What is the best way to find out if a computer has a certain file? Thanks Charles

Remote desktop security problem
I have problem with Desktop Central 80022, after upgrade the option for final user to remote connection not asking to consent the user aprobe connection. I configured the desktop central to permanent ask to user before connect in the remote session. Right Now the options of the Desktop central not appear, I don´t know what happen. Hi there I am using Desktop Central 8 (build 80018) and have a question regarding Microsoft updates. I have noticed it a few times that WSUS tells me that a particular computer is up to date but Desktop Central says that certain Microsoft updates are missing. An example would be patch id 97886 (osc2010-kb2583935-fullfile-x86-glb.exe). Vulnerability Database Update Fails (v 80024)
I recently installed Desktop Central 8 on my server and have been unable to update the vulnerability database successfully. Each time I attempt to download the database the first three process complete successfully and then the "Syncing security updates" process fails. I have reviewed logs and even changed the log setting to Debug and still have no indication of why the update fails. The system currently does not have a local firewall running and no traffic is being blocked by the gateway.

I installed the app first time had a issue with DB update. Then the server stops after starting. I reinstalled the app result is same. Any help is appreciated. Thx

Correct Utilization for a .vbs script file on Pre-install
I'm trying to run a Pre-installation VB script file and everytime I deploy the software I get an error stating "Incorrect Function". I dont know if i have to specify a program to run the .VBS file or not. I have attached a screen of my package layout. thanks, nix_man
Error while updating from 80022 to 80025
Got a java error while trying to update. Restarted and tried to update to 80025 again with no luck. Get the following error in server.lock #Thu May 24 15:41:12 PDT 2012 buildnumber-db=80022 buildnumber-conf=80025 error-message=File system incompatible with DB. Hotfix Install Procedure
When installing hotfixes the intructions always advise to; "Take a backup of the Desktop Central installation directory (<Install_Dir>/DesktopCentral_Server) to avoid any data loss during the upgrade process." Greetings! We have some reports of users not being able to shut down or restart while DC is working. No notification or any other visual clue. Error using Configurations File Folder Operation
Hi all, I am new to ManageEngine, but will be using it A LOT in my new role. I have been asked to delete a folder which is located in C:\Users\%username%\ (Windows 7) on all machines for all users in the domain. Vulnerability DB Update Fails
I am currently having issues with the vulnerability database on my server not updating. It says that the last successful update was on March 13, and it has failed on every attempt since then. This happens both with the scheduled update and a manual update. If I click on the "Failure" link to get more detail, it just says "Failed to Update the Vulnerability DataBase on 2012-04-26 10:00:00". Is there a log somewhere that will give me more information to try troubleshooting this problem?
Uncompatible Message when Installing 80022 Hotfix
I am currently using a Desktop Central configuration from a patch to 80014. I am attempting to update to install hotfix 80022. After running the Update Manager (yes, the service is stopped) and selecting the .ppm file through the Browse button I receive a message "The ppm file that you have specified is not compatible with this product." After I have Tech support to migrate my server from one computer to another computer. It just copy all files of DesktopCentral server folder to another computer. He start the service. It is working, but the tray icon for the server process was not found. I remember, if I install the program by set up process. It will create the tray icon for me.
