Software failing to install
I am attempting to deploy some software out and I receive this message: Could not connect the share from the client computer : The specified network name is no longer available I am unsure of the problem. I was able to successfully deploy this same software a couple of weeks ago to another computer. The strange thing is it looks like part of the install occurred. Part of a normal install for this software is to remove any previous versions (i.e. if you do it manually, it tells you that the old one

Exported Vulnerability Report Include System Health Graph
On the Reports tab, Patch Reports > Vulnerable System Report, when clicking Export PDF, is there a way to include the System Health Graph. The graph is a great overview so that a business owner can see at a glance that no systems are vulnerable without looking at the details. So, I would really like that graph on the report. When I export the report to PDF, I am only getting the Healthy Systems table.
Desktop Central agent on VDI
I read in the FAQ that you can use Desktop Central to manage VDI workstations. We are using Citrix XenDesktop persistent desktops. Are there any considerations\preparation that needs to happen in order to update the master images with the agent? Thanks, Dave

Currently the monthly report will not quite allow what I need; however, I know the data is in there that it can be generated. I've attached an excel sheet example. Desktop Central local Admin account
I would like to know about deleting the local admin account. Is it best practice to delete the account or keep the account? I have kept the account due to concerns with Active Directory Authentication. We did have an issue where we could not authenticate and having the account allowed me to login to Desktop Central.
Desktop Central HTML 5 Viewer
Myself and a few of my coworkers are having remote control problems with the HTML5 Viewer. We have had to remote numerous times to the same machine. The viewer will not connect and displays message "Agent not Reachable" or it will go back to status of "disconnected". I have tried rebooting the client machines and the server. Neither worked, and we are still experiencing the problem. Some machines after trying to connect 7 or 8 times it will finally connect but then after a minute or 2 the session

Custom Script return code to update Configuration Status
When I deploy a Custom Script to run on start-up can I return a success/fail code that Desktop Central will use to update the status of Configuration? For instance, the script I have deployed runs on start-up, the Configuration status shows Sucess, but the script encountered errors during the process and I want to show failure as the status.

The login page for DTC is telling me to update to 91099 but when I check my server version 91099 is installed. The windows clients say 90198?? Is this correct.. Thanks, b
corrupted rar file
i was extracting a rar file from dvd and suddenly everything stopped working, i took out the dvd and try to delete that file but not responding windows explorer appeared and desktop refreshes everytime

Disable other DC Agent Tray Icon Options
Is there a way to disable the View Logon Reports or at least limit them to that machine only? Currently I can only turn off Apply Config, Scan and Upload Patch or Inventory Details. We do not want other users knowing when other systems are logged into or out of, but turning off the Tray Icon alltogether seems to be the only other way... we actually would like the exact opposite... Old patches showing up
I am currently evaluating DC for my organization. One question is about the patch management. Many of my systems are showing up as Highly Vulnerable (some with as many as 60 needed patches!). I was trying to find out what was happening because SCCM says nothing about those patches and when I manually run Windows update off domain, it does not find those patches. The current Java 1.8 patch (update 66) has been out for 2 weeks and still isn't available to install with Desktop Central yet. Is there any ETA on the patch being supported?
KB3097877 re-release
Good Afternoon, We are experiencing the issue with Outlook 2013 crashing due to KB3097877 which was released Tuesday and deployed by Desktop Central yesterday. I see Microsoft has corrected the issue and re-released this patch, but with the same KB number. Will Desktop Central still download the updated version and recognize it as a new patch to deploy even though it has the same KB number? Thanks, Matt

Agent Popup
Is it possible to set the progress bar to actually be representative of the current action. eg if downloading a file show the actual status of the download. At the moment it just keeps cycling through it showing no useful information. Also is it possible to show a custom message to the user from the configuration instead of just the deployment policy? It would be nice to tell the user this configuration contains an update to X and not just the standard message. Thanks Andrew

Hello All, Sorry for being such a newb, but I was wondering if someone could point me to some instructions on setting up the Desktop Central Client etc? I'm told that I could potentially setup the client install on each of my SMB Business Clientele machines (6 different LANs) and then use the "Web Console" to manage them all, regardless of the fact that they're all different customers and exist on completely different LANs. Anyone feel like doing me a solid and dumbing this down a bit for me? :-)
Installing/Upgrading AVG Business Edition
We are looking at upgrading our AVG Business to a new version. There is a script file and a .BAT file that the server creates with all the settings. I am having a problem running the .BAT in the Software Deployment screen. DC do not update the primary smtp
Hi If I change the primary smtp address of a user on the MDM still remain the old one. That because the users assigned to the device is not update with AD and you can't manually change the email. I have a test VM here with the November update for Windows 10 installed (v1511) The VM is flagged as requiring 5 patches, but these all fail with Unknown Error. User Login History
We have 1600 Windows PCs in a non-AD joined system using DC to manage and patch the Windows PC. If we enable Windows Audit logging, is DC capable of generating a report by user for each PC listing the user name and login activity. IF not, is there a solution that DC would allow us to distribute that could collect that information? Mike
Downloaded Binary that is Not Applicable....?
Hi, Our Desktop Central server download patch 300541 and 300542. The file downloaded (for 300541) was 300541-cdbxp_setup_4.5.1.4003.exe One of our security products flagged this is a malicious binary (based on reputation). I searched to see if any of our endpoints require patch #300541 or #300542. Not only does no endpoint report needing this patch, but the Desktop Central UI doesn't even have any result for these patch IDs (it's as if they do not exist). But....I have binaries in my patch database
Deploy Package after Agent Install
Looking at setting up a package that would deploy to a PC after the agent has installed. It would be a "Welcome Package" once agent is installed the package would be deployed to the PC. Is this possible.

Patch Management IP Scope
I haven't been able to find an answer to this in any KB. We have quite a few remote offices and have set up IP Scopes so the agents communicate to the appropriate server. We have end users who travel between offices (global company) when they arrive in another location and receive an IP from that location is the agent smart enough to switch to that remote office server and when they return to their office switch back? I assume as long as the IP Scopes are setup correctly this is how it works but
