Hallo On my ESX-server i had a warning on a virtual server about video memory. This warning creates an alert on applications manager which is unable to reset: Insufficient video RAM. The maximum resolution of the virtual machine will be limited to 1672x1254. To use the configured maximum resolution of 2560x1600, increase the amount of video RAM allocated to this virtual machine by setting svga.vramSize="16384000" in the virtual machine's configuration file. Can't Add Ping Monitor - It already exists
Hello, I recently had to delete alot of ping monitors, after finding out, they had to be put in again. When trying to add them, they say monitor already exists. I have verified existing ping monitors, there are none. Bulk modify also shows none. Any help on clearing "Phantom" monitors would be appreciated. Best regards, Carlos

Transaction Recorder browser setting
Hi, I have been utilizing transaction recorder to help us build meaningful monitor sequences and it has been working great so far. However, I have this particular web app that requires Compatibility View setting to be turned off in IE to work correctly. I know exactly what settings in IE to change to fix the error. Unmanage and Reset Status
I'm seeing a random issue in Application Manager where I perform the action Unmanage & Reset status for a monitor and the status sets to Unmanaged but the Availability status goes red. Is there a way to clear the status of the monitor? Currently the monitor does not show up in our list of alarms to clear either. Any help with clearing this issue would be greatly appreciated. Upgrade problem | Invalid username and/or password"
Hello All, A few days ago, I tried to upgrade application manger (build version 11410 to 12100). I have followed the "Upgrade Guide" and the installation seem to be okay. However when I tried to log-in I had an error "Invalid username and/or password". I tried with the former and default password without succes. What could be the problem cause ? UNIX script monitor gets executed correctly, but Health & Availability both stay red (not available)
Hi, I've a very simple Unix script that Applications Manager remotely executes every minute through a script monitor via ssh. It works perfectly, I can see that the script being called on the server, but the monitor always keeps saying " Resource MyScript is down. Health is critical as the resource is not available". Pinging the Unix server from the Applications Manager machine works, and, as I said, the script gets executed correctly... Any idea what else could cause the script to wrongly report

Appmanager startup issue
Hi, we're encountering this problem with appmanager12: the installation process and the startup of the application seem to be fullfillled with no issues but, for example, when in a first instance, we try to start the webconsole on the port 9090, it's not reachable. Also the appmanager panel on the port 8443 is not reachable. The windows services are enabled like on the other probes, we do not find any difference, even in the configuration of the OS. Hello When i add a new AIX monitor to AppManager, the disks are not monitored per default. Is there a possibility to add a threshold for every disk globally so that when i create a new server monitor, the disks are automatically monitored? I need this for every disk and not for the total... Thanks

Apache status monitor not working
Dear All, I have installed the most recent appmanager version and have a centos with apache 2.2 deployed. I have enabled the status monitor and extended status monitor in apache and can open without any problem the webpage http://serverIP/status-monitor or http://serverIP/status-monitor?auto from the host where Appmanager is installed. When I try to add the http service to the appmanager monitors it fails with error 403. Has anyone been able to make this work? Thanks in advance, Ibra
User Administration tabs missing for new admin
I have created a new admin user in our AppManager installation, but when logging on with the new admin account, the tabs for "Profiles" and "User Groups" are missing from the User Management page. Therefore the new admin cannot manage user accounts in the application. Is there another security setting that must be made to allow a new admin the ability to manage user accounts and groups?
UnManaged Servers Revert to Managed Following Maintenance Window
We have 10 - 15 unmanaged powered down vm guest servers in our environment. There is a downtime schedule every week for a 6 hour maintenance window. Following the maintenance window every week all of our unmanaged servers revert to being managed and send out alerts since they are all powered down. Any ideas on how to remedy this unwanted action?
Polled Attribute Data is not being Persisted, Reporting not working correctly
Our AppManager11 server appears to not be persisting polled attribute data for some of our monitors. When viewing a monitors polled atribute data from the monitor page, and when we click on a 7 or 30 button to view the report for historicals on the polled data, the page says "No data is available from X - Y" but when we switch the view using the drop down box in the "History Data" page from "Last 7 Days" to "Show Polled Data" we can see there is data available. I am trying to create a File Monitor on a Linux installation of AppManager that monitors a Linux file system. I am looking for a zero length file to exist. If the file exists, alarm. If it is not there, no alarm and if an alarm exists, clear any exiting alarm.

APPManager Loading Page
Hello, I have AppManager and it was working fine since version 8. Lately we install a new server with version 11, latest service pack was 11.9. When we load the Web site Admin page, and try to change any setting for a monitor, the web page stand on "Loading Page" but never loads, and it last several minutes and nothing happens. Weblogic Monitor - JDBC connections
Hello, I have created a Monitor on AppManager(rel 11) for an Admin Weblogic 11g Server. I have also copied the jar file under the required path that AppManager is running. What additional steps should i follow in order to monitor JDBCs? Currently i cannot see any information under Connection Pool Section: "No Database Connection Pools are present in this server."
