Monitoring not send or receiving emails exchange
There is a way to monitor email send a receiving status of an exchange server because sometimes we have issues sending and receiving emails but we dont have any alerts from application manager tool.

Shutdown COM Component on Web-site failure in Application Manager
I have a web-site that I monitor with Application Manager. The web-site periodically has a COM component that hangs causing the web-site to not respond. While I triage the issue, I would like the health alert for the web-site to be able to shutdown the com component on the windows server that is hosting the site. I can't find a way to remotely shutdown the com component. I have a script to do it, but I can't seem to find a way to have the health alert run the remote script?

Hello. I don't see statistics of managed server on admin console server at manageengine applications manager. when go to home tab on admin console server and click summary tab, see "Invalid password. Admin password for the Managed server localhost : 8443 might have changed. Please update the same in Admin Server. " message. also I don't see defined monitor groups on managed server in admin console server. why? please help me

I have installed Opmananger and Application manager with the integration connection setup to provide a single pane for viewing all alerts. I am having issues (being dealt with seperately) viewing the devices from the links in ApManager and the requirments have changed with regards monitors. Is it possible to install Application Mananger Plugin an restore the current Application Manager database to it. I would prefer not to have to install the current monitors and setup if I need to move from standalone

Hello, I want to check remote directory for daily basis files. More clearly, I have a directory that includes all bakup files in it. I want to configure an alarm if the backup file is not modified last 24 hours. I searched forum but unfortunately, I did not find anything. Hi, I am trying to connect to ManageEngine Apps Manager and pull information about monitors via REST API (http://help.appmanager.com/list-monitor). The ListMonitor REST Command asks for the ResourceID of a particular monitor. Does anybody know where can I find the ResourceID so I can include it in my REST call? Thanks! -Robert
Monitoring files older than x time
Hi I use manageEngine Applications Manager 12. We have a directory on a windows server where files are being placed any time of day. These files are moved when they have been processed so the directory should always be empty. Files in the directory should never be older than xx minutes. Is it possible to monitor and get a warning mail when the oldest file in the directory is older than 15 minutes from current time? I have tried this with Custom Monitor, File / Directory Monitor but have not succeeded.
Downtime Summary Report shows Unmanaged Servers.
Hi For maintenance reason we unmanaged whole bunch of monitors. Now the Downtime Summary Report shows only these under heading Least 20 Available Monitors . How can we disable but not remove monitors to not appear on this report? Regards, Corné

Execution time (Web Service Operation) not show data in custom dashboard
Hi, I have a problem regarding the date shown in custom dashboard. I have monitored 3 different wsdl sensors, each with SOAP request. If I go to the sensor to see the graph shows me polled data. But when I configure the SOAP request group graph in the custom dashboard error appears " Data not available for the specified type/user." I set Application Manager with 1 user obviously with admin. When creating a SNMP Monitor an Unknown monitor is created and don't believe it is needed. Why is it created and do I need to keep it for some reason.
Server monitor still green even though Authentication error
I have several Server monitor points that are green even though there is a error (Authentication failed. Kindly verify the username and password provided.). Why isn't this turning Red because there is an issue and no data is being collected. When you have hundreds of monitors you need to have it run red on an error like this otherwise you think it is OK but it is not.

I am using ManageEngine Apps Manager v. 11 and I am trying to send alarms straight to our company's ITSM solution (Microsoft System Center Service Manager) in order to open ITSM tickets when CPU, Memory, Disk, etc. thresholds are breached. ITSM wants us to consume a Web service that they have but ME AppsMan does not have an action for that. Process must NOT exist
Hi We have a Windows server on which a given process must NOT exist. But if I make a monitor of the process, it will be "red" in the Availability and Health, because the process does not exist currently.
