Complexe correlations?
I am evaluating Application manager for ma department and so far i am very impressed with how easy it is to setup everything. M only concern so far is that we need to be able to make complex correlations and i cant find any way to do tat with this product. Ex: Windows service is down on serverA and received eventlog on serverB = Alarm Is there a way to do something like that?
Execute bachtes in off-time for a monitor
Hi All, I am new to this forum and Applications Manager. I've started using Applications Manager last week and I found many fantastic features in it. They definitely suites our current needs. However, I am looking for a facility that when I define a monitor, I would be able to do something, (i.e. running or resuming a batch) in off-time or when a server is in clear state (for eg. CPU usage is less that 20 percent) do some jobs. Is there any way to execute some batches in that condition? Thanks for
Tomcat monitor: collect statistics about number of sessions per application

End-to-end responde time for web application and database
Hi, do you have some product able to reproduce web, application and database transaction remotely? A customer has several branch offices and he would like to monitor the end-to-end performance of the web server, the application server and the database server from each branch office. I am already aware about the URL monitor within OpManager and Application Manager, but they are from the server prospective. I also know about the RBM monitor, but it is only for web server. Thanks, Roberto D.
Add ability to monitor job status in individual subsystems on AS/400
In Application Manager I would like support added to where I can take a specific subsystem on the AS/400, for example QBatch and be able to monitor for a Message Waiting in that subsystem instead of just for the entire system as a whole.
Add SQL multiple instance support
I would like for App Manager to add support for monitoring multiple version of SQL running on a single SQL server.
New or modified Monitor Group Availability Reporting option
A modified "Services Group" option that would have the ability to add a Weight or Score value to each individual monitor for a given Monitor Group. This custom value would allow us to set monitor importance/dependency for that particular monitor group, default would be 0% and an unlimited total for all monitors combined. Example scenario would be: - Web Application 1 (Monitor Group) - (Monitor) Web Server - Score: 100% dependant (if this is down, the group is down) - (Monitor) WebLogic
Downtime Forms
Hi, I'm working in a company that supply manager services and hosting to many customers (that include many servers, databases, applications) The most important kpi that we have to delivery to our customers monthly is the uptime. Some times AppManager didn't get a downtime when this happen very fast. I set pool interval to 2 minutes and we can have a restart in one of our databases for example. Basicaly, what I'm propose is a kind of downtime forms. A new "tab" where we can chose a monitor, and insert

Google Maps View Alarms overlapping back-OpManager
Hy guys!! In OPPmanager tool for us that we have a team of external support and have published a tool on the web, use enough to view Google Maps. We note that the devices that alarmed problem, are behind other disposivivos that are configured with status ok. The Time Adventnet would help us greatly to study a solution to this feature of the tool.
Display Server Specifications (Make, Model, RAM, HDDs) for Windows 2003 & 2008
Is there a way that the specifications of the server can be displayed for the Windows 2003 & 2008 servers? What we're looking for is something like: Make: HP Model: DL380 G2 Ram: 4GB (2 x 2GB) We have seen other applications have the ability to read this information from the server but would like to be able to view all the details of a server from it's monitor. Currently we have to log into the server to access this info when needed. It would also be nice to know when these specs change (more ram
Custom Monitor: Possibility to parse a website for Attribute Values
For the custom monitors it should also be possible to parse a simple website. e.g. the output of a PHP Script could print the variables in the following way: attribute1=1234 attribute2=3245 What i need is to specify a URL in the custom monitor instead of a script. At the moment i have to execute a script in the server which does a wget in the background. That's very circuitous.

Adjustable vertical in response time report chart
The vertical scale in response time charts makes it unreadable when there is a very high peak in the middle of the graph (the scale is calculated based on the maximum value). An option to make this scale ignore the "abnormal" peaks would be nice , otherwise the year report is unusable if there has been one incident with extremely high response time: all the normal data is "crunched" on the horizontal axis ...

Threshoulds based on interface errors
It will be great if we could create and configure Threshoulds based on interface errors in AppManager. So... Today we can create and configure Threshoulds based on interface input and output traffic. And AppManager can collect informations about interface errors. So, this is not hard to implement in AppManager.
