A modified "Services Group" option that would have the ability to add a Weight or Score value to each individual monitor for a given Monitor Group.  This custom value would allow us to set monitor importance/dependency for that particular monitor group, default would be 0% and an unlimited total for all monitors combined.  Example scenario would be:

- Web Application 1 (Monitor Group)

      - (Monitor) Web Server - Score: 100% dependant (if this is down, the group is down)

      - (Monitor) WebLogic Web Service - Score: 10% dependant (only impacts 10% of the total group)

      - (Monitor) SQL Server 1 - Score: 40%

      - (Monitor) SQL Server 2 - Score: 10%

      - (Monitor) LDAP Server - Score: 100%

Thresholds could then be set on the Monitor Group level:  If the unavailable total of the Monitor Group is greater than threshold, the group would be considered unavailable. 

With the current "Services Group", it is difficult to assess the criticality when each Monitor's percentage is equal based upon 100% / N.
