Periodically export raw data
Hi, I installed Application Manager 11700. I am doing PING tests and so on. I see that the system show only the last 6 hours of raw data, max 24 if I change the AMServer.Properties file. This is not enough for the customer because he would like to have the raw data for two weeks. If it's not possible to increase the retention on the AppManager itself, is it at least possible to create a script to export in TEXT format that data? I found a query that can be run to export the data: select * from am_managedobjectdata
Generic text fields in templates
It would be very handy to have a text field within templates. That way we can either explain what the following field does, or offer suggestions on what to enter for a field. I know there is a little help note, but that requires the user to hover their mouse over said field. Also, having a "space" or horizontal line option to add would be helpful.
Downtime Schedule Alerts
We've setup monitor groups for some of our critical apps and have setup downtime schedules for them. A couple of questions regarding the monitoring and alerts when a monitor is scheduled for maintenance. 1. Is it possible to generate e-mail alerts when a downtime schedule is in place? An alert confirming that the maintenance window has started and another alert after the maintenance window is over to confirm the services are back online. Downtime from a removed monitor was also removed from the monitor groups assigned
steps: 1 -. We have a monitor group with two monitors. 2 -. The first monitor falls 1h 3 -. The group monitors shows a fall of 1h 4 -. We removed the monitor that is down from the group 5 -. The group monitors still show a fall of 1h We would like that when we remove a monitor from a monitor group, their downtime also was removed from the monitor group.
Ability to select SQL Jobs vs. All
We would like the ability when adding a SQL Monitor in AppManager to be able to select which SQL Jobs are monitored for Health/Availability vs. the default settings of the monitor which pulls in all SQL jobs. This would allow you to only monitor and alarm on business critical jobs versus alarming for jobs that have zero business impact or are only ran infrequently. Thoughts? Thanks, Scott

Historical Reports Indicating Threshold breaches
Hi, Is it possible to include in the reports specially on the graphs a color indicator that the threshold hold has been breach. An example is that if the values go beyond the threshold then the line graphs would change to orange or red (warning and critical) respectively. Or just red color for breaching critical thresholds. Downtime removal on Enterprise AppManager install.
When are we going to see the capability to get downtime removed via the central console on the enterprise install. It is incredibly bad that we have to go to each poller to do this on a monitor by monitor basis. We have 7k monitors over 6 - 7 pollers and the current setup is pretty bad for downtime removal. The central console should be able to perform configuration and not just view functions. Not impressed with the product at this time.
Bulk "Annotations" function from alarm view
It would be great to get a bulk Annotations function from the alarm view. You have bulk Acknowledge, bulk Assign technician, but no bulk Annotations. use case: Incident causes 10 alarms. We want to bulk select the alarms and Annotate them all with the same Incident #.

In Applications Manager, it would be nice to be able to manually and immediately place a monitor into maintenance mode (similar to the "downtime scheduler") with a "single click" of a link on the monitor's page. Guys, How are you doing? I'm trying to install the SAP Server & CCMS plugin but I didn't make this happens. I did exactly what the Prerequisite told me to do but I haven't result yet. When I try to add a monitor after this procedure it appears the following message: "SAP Java Connector not found in the classpath." I'm using a machine with the following configuration: S.0 = Windows XP SP3 (x86) RAM = 1024 MB HD = 20 GB This is only a virtual machine that I'm using it to make this test
Central monitor management for enterprise edition
The enterprise edition should come with centralized monitor management for ALL functions you can do on a poller. Your Site24x7 platform does so why not AppManager. We pay a considerable amount a year for the platform and this is a glaring problem.

Remove or disable a service from in a services template?
Hi, is it possible to remove a service from a services template? We got a domain controller monitored via the services “Active Directory” in the ApplicationsManager, but there is one service (“File Replication Service”) which will be always red, because the service is disabled by us on the monitored server. So the health of the AD-server is always red. So is there a way to remove this service from ActiveDirectory template or another workaround for this issue? Kind regards Chris

Hello! We use Applications Manager 10 Build Number 10700. How can we setup Alarm Escalation for Dedicated Monitor only, not for All Monitors or Monitor Group? Now I can find only stupid way to create a set of Monitor Groups with only one monitor inside and assign Alarm Escalation Rules to each Monitor Group. Is there more suitable way to configure this?
