AD SelfService High Availability
Good Morning, Does AD Self Service have High Availability/ Failover capabilities? We were told that it was possible before purchasing it, but I am not seeing it within the configurations. I also did not see it within the Admin Guide. Is this something which will be added later? Or did I just miss the configuration within the application itself? We are hoping to configure all of the applications with High Availability/ Failover. Thank you for the help!

PostgreSQL Database to Splunk
Our organization is attempting to export the ADSSP PostgreSQL Database data and import into Splunk. We are in the process of configuring it but need to know the following: The hostname of the PostgreSQL server. The name of the PostgreSQL database that DBConnect will be working with. When I try to install the GINA remotely from the ADSelfSerfice admin console on a Windows 10 or Windows 8.1 computer the install fails with error: “Couldn't start remote service. Overlapped I/O operation is in progress.” The problem I see is the default remote registry setting is set to disabled and ADSelfService is not able to start the service since it’s disabled. If I set the remote registry setting to manual, then ADSelfService will start the service and the install will complete. We’re using

How do I configure ADSelfService Plus?
I have a really stupid question. I inherited an ADselfserviceplus installation and I have no idea how to logon to it to configure it. The only logon I can get to is the self service portal where it asks me to register. How do you get to the admin interface to configure it??
User Un-enrollment
This hopefully is a very quick question what level of Technician do you need to be in order to un-enrol a user. At the moment I have assigned 1st line support Operator access rights but this does not seem to give them the ability to un-enrol users where as if I make them Super Admins then they can. However I don't really want 1st line support to then have access to say the configuration which they could change by mistake. Thanks

Hello, For starters web hosting isn't my best area of expertise. I have ADSelfService Plus installed and running great. I have a Port forward set up in the firewall to forward traffic to the internal server. The issue I'm having is when I navigate to xyz.domain.com it brings me to the correct place but during the transfer somewhere the url in the browser is converted to the raw IP address. I don't want users to see the IP address but the DNS name. I have both internal and external DNS set up

Force enrolment
Hi All I'm just wondering if anyone has put together a method of forcing users to enrol. Probably at least half the people in the company haven't enrolled (either because they are new and dont know about it, they ignored the communications, or are just lazy). Then when they go to use it..... computer says no. Right now i'm thinking an SQL query to find who is already enrolled, then match that against an AD extract to get the exceptions. Put them in a group or something, and perhaps use a script or
AD Self Service plus client software issue
We are having issues with the GINA for AD Self Service plus client software on Windows 10 Surface pro4 systems. When it is installed on a system we get the reset password / unlock account on the login screen which is great. BUT If we attempt to switch users and then try to type in a different login in ID, the surface resets to locked without taking the new user credentials. If we uninstall the GINA from the surface, change users works fine. Version of AD Self Service GENA is 4.3.0 Has anyone else

Hi, We have implemented a hyperlink to our home page of Citrix Storefront to allow users to reset/unlock their passwords using AD Self Service Plus. However, as users are using devices in kiosk mode the browser session opens in full screen mode and when they click on the hyperlinks to our AD Self Service pages, they also open in full screen mode. Does any way know off adding a "close window" button to each page of the Self Service pages, so users can click on that to return back to the Citrix Storefront

Multiple Policies for different OUs
In our Domain we have specific OUs that are managed by users within their own OU. Can We create additional Policies that allow those users to manage only their OUs without having access to the entire Domain?? Also, If I add a customer admin as a Technician can I restrict them to only manage their OU?

SMS Credits Question
Morning is there are way other than having the automatic alert about checking to see how many SMS message credits are left. I have searched through the documentation but can only find references to setting up an alert once you get down to a minimum number of messages. We are starting to roll this out to our live user population and would like to keep an initial eye on the number of credits we start to consume. Thanks Mark

Since updating to 5313 we are seeing huge amount of traffic from oru AD Self Service system to our desktops over 445. We do not allow this traffic by default, so our firewalls are blocking it. What is the purpose of this call out on this port?
Language administrator = language users?
Hi, I've noticed that when i set the language on the page 'Admin, Personalize' to english, the page for the users is also in english, and when i change for Admin, it is changed for the users also? I would like to have the admin page in english, because the manual is also in english, but i would like to offer the users a page in their native language. Is that possible? regards, Mieke
Changing the Theme Colour Doesn't Affect General User's Page
I've noticed that even though I've changed the the Theme Colour under 'Rebranding', it doesn't seem to affect any of the pages outside of the admin portal. Is this intentional? Or is there a way to make it so it applies to all pages?
