Question about Free Version
I am testing ADManager Plus on a test server using the free version. I am getting the message Could not create more than 100 users. License Level Exceeded. I thought the only limitation to the free version was you could only manage one domain?? :?:

ADManager Plus is not finding my groups
Hi, I must have changed something in AD, but I don't know what. Suddenly, ADMP is not finding my groups when I want to modify them or add users to them, although the AD Explorer is finding the groups and the I was able to add a group to my Users container. When I try to update a user or a group I get "No Groups Found. " in the group selection window. Please help me figure out what I did to cause this. Thanks, Ari

I am trying to create a naming format for ADManager Plus. The standard account is the initials of the name. example. Name: John A. Cruz Account: jac I would like to ask how to create a user with two lastname? for example: Name: Robert G. Dela Cruz and his account will be going to be Account : rgc because that is our standard naming format. can you help me on how to create this format?

Searching Custom Fields
Is there any way to search for an Active Directory account in AD Manager based on one of the custom fields (i.e. employeenumber).
Error in Adding User: Some Authentication problem - Error Code: 80072030
When I attempt to add a help desk technician from Active Directory I get the error message: "Error in Adding User : Some Authentication problem - Error Code : 8007203. It does not matter which help desk role I assign or if I select "Impersonate as Admin" or not. We are on the latest build 4412 and have not exceeded our license limit. I have also verified that the username and password for the domain settings are correct.

Deleting Users and .V2 Profiles
When we delete a user using AdManager +, it removes the user's profile folder that XP uses but it does not remove the .V2 folder that is created for Vista / Windows 7. I believe this should be updated to include the removal of both folders when deleteing a user.
Telephone Directory Report
We are using the Self Service Portal in AD Manager Plus to allow users to search AD for a Telephone directory. We are using multiple OU�s in AD for data. One or two contain User Information and another contains Contacts Information. We require a report which can be used to print a hard copy of the list for notice boards etc. Tony George

I would like to create new OU's for different departments and then create Users containers within the new OU's to hold the users for those departments. I see in ADMP how to create the OU's but I don't see any way to create a new Users container within an OU. Is it possible? Thanks, Ari
Home Directory Issues
My templates are set to map a U: drive to a network folder location based on the username of the user. I had to recreate all accounts so I deleted all accounts and ran the template again which mapped the U: drive correctly to the users folder. However, when a user logs in now they can not access this folder and the mapping is one layer above the folder it should map. When I look at the network folder security tab I see a hexadecimal entry where the username should be. Needing resolution here.
Report Scheduler Missing
I want to set some of the reports to be sent out on a schedule. My manual says to go to the Admin Tab, then Schedule Reports. I can not find any link or button that says "Schedule Reports." What am I doing wrong? Thanks. John

AD Search in ADManager Plus extremely slow
Hi All, Wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem and/or has a fix... When using the 'Search AD Objects' in the top right corner of the ADManager Plus homepage, we are finding the search to be extremely slow. To search for a name takes around 45-50 seconds. The same search in the ADUC console takes milliseconds. Any suggestions? This is affecting us bringing the product into production as it is not practical to be waiting this length of time to find an AD Object. Any suggestions

When I try to modify recently imported users I get the following message: No such user matched. Verify the LDAP attribute in search query or could be a privilege issue - Error Code : 0 Not sure what to do next to trouble shoot this one...

AD Manager Plus tries to start but fails
ADManager Plus - attempt to start console. Progress bar gets to "Loading Audit" then restarts several times then quits. Can anyone tell me what causes this and how to fix.
How to create a reports only role
Need to create a role that can run reports only, but do none of the bulk or individual user change functions from the perspective of the ADManager Plus application. How do I go about creating that role?

Group Policy Modified by?
Hi, We would like to see a feature specially in Group Policy to know which admin has modified the policy. I haven't checked yet whether I can do that or the report geneerates that feature, but it would be an added advantage for us admins to find out who did the change. John Francis
Schedule report layout
Is there anyway to determine the layout of a scheduled report ? I can set the date, time and format. But how do i controle which fields i want to see ? And now i have to manuaal adjust the layout so it looks precentabel. Sinds i have to make about 20 every month, i hope admanager plus has this option somewhere.

Users not 'mail enabled' ? can't change 'mail' ldap attribute ?
I need to bulk modify the 'mail' smtp attribute of my users so that servicedesk sees their email addresses. If I try to use the exchange tab to do it, it doesnt return any users under 'mail enabled.' I can modify the 'mail' attribute under 'custom attributes' in modify users, but i cant tell it %givenName%1%sn% like I can under the exchange side. Help !

Schedule reports
Schedule report won't run. I plan them but nothing happens. Nothing shows in the history and no email is received. I'm a licensed user of ADManager pro.
How do you use AD Manager to find duplicate computer names
I am getting the error in Event Viewer that there is a duplicate computer name. However in DNS none show. I'm testing AD Manager and was told it could solve this problem. I need to know how?
