Clear records of the audit report?
It would be possible to clear the records of the audit report AdManager Plus 5.4.0 build 5240, I performed some tests and would like to get these records.
Enable Communications with CSV possible?
Hi ADM+ Team: I have users created with a template and just realized that you could enable communications (LCS/OCS Attributes). However, I already have a large number of users that do no have it enabled and was wondering if I could create a CSV file of the users and enable communications, select LCS/OCS server, and specifiy the sip? If so, what would be the attribute names and how would the CSV file look? Thanks.
Exchange Auditing
Can you design a tool to capture and alalyze exchane audit logs and send email notification, similar to how AD Audit plus works? Can you point me to any tool that will do such a task? My company is currently looking for such a software.
Error: Reset Password Failed
We get this error message when users to try to reset their passwords using ADManager Plus. The full error message reads: 1. Administrator credentials in application do not match with the one found in Active Directory or 2. Mismatch between administrator's credentials in ADSelfService Plus and that of Active Directory. Any idea how to resolve this?
Creating 2010 mailboxes
Hi, We use templates in ADMP to create new user accounts and have recently moved to exchnage 2010 from 2003. I have migrated ADMP to a 64bit server and have installed the exchange management tools on the same server. When a new user account is created the mailbox is created on an exchange 2010 database but is marked as a legacy mailbox. I can change the mailbox type from legacy to user by running a powershell command, however I want the mailboxes to be created correctly from the template. Any help
Group reports from multiple domains
I have one parent domain with a child domain (both of which are configured in ADMP). Some users in the child domain are members of security groups that reside in the parent domain. When I run a report of that group's members, it only includes members of the parent domain. How can I run a report to include both domain members? Thank you! David

Email Subscriptions for Updates
Hello, We are currently using ADSelfService and ADManager Plus and I can't seem to find a link where we can subscribe to receive emails for any updates with the application. We want to make sure that we're staying up to date and those automated notifications will definetely help us. Thanks!!
ADManager Plus - Adding colums to 'Delete Users' Window
Hello Currently when deleting a user, in the user selection screen we have the default columns which are as follows Full Name First Name Logon Name Account Status Last Logon Time Distinguished Name We require that additional columns are added to this view such as Office Name. Scheduled Reports - Custom Columns
The addition of the scheduled reports by OU is nice, however the reports are not very useful. For instance, if I run an Inactive Users report manually, I can add the Last Logged on Time. I don't get (or can't add) this to the scheduled report. I'd also like to add the Last Modified Date to the scheduled report for Disabled Users so I know when they were disabled. But I can't do this either. Same for adding the Created Date for Users Never Logged On. etc What would be valueable would be to take any
High CPU with Java.exe on a Virtual Windows 2008 R2 server with 8GB of RAM?

CSV Import Special characters
Hi, when i'm trying to import a CSV file into AD Manager with names that have specials characters like � � � �. It changes this characters into square's and sets it so in the Active Directory. Anybody a solution ? Best regards, Danny
Template not parsing a field
Hello, I've been working on creating User Templates however the First Name field never parses into the remaining fields. For Example: First Name: John Last Name: Doe Results in: Display Name: doe, (New york) E-mail: .Doe@Domain.com First name is omitted. We've tried to create new templates from scratch and continue to encounter this issue. Looking for advice or a possible fix. Thanks for your help with this.

AD Manager - New Feature Request
Hello, I'm not sure if these features are available but please add the following: 1. Instead of appending a number for a username that already exists, can you use the first and second intial. Determine Inactive User Accts
Does anyone have a report to find all the inactive users accounts in the domain?
Workflow Approval notifications are not being sent. However, Created & Rejected notifications are being sent.

Custom report to find all cleints with RDP enabled
We have 3 ManageEngine Products. ADManager Plus Service Desk Plus (enterprise) Desktop Central (Enterprise) I have been asked to find out which clients have RDP enabled. I am unsure how to exactly to pull this request as I'm not seeing these options in the reports for any of the three products. Is this something that can be done through a custom report? OCS 2007 and Enhanced Presence
I was having a problem with my OCS accounts that were created by AD Manager were not automatically enabled for Enhanced Presence. This was not letting the users log in to Communicator... which is a bit of a problem. I finally solved this by using a script in the OCS 2007 Resource Kit. Cant find AD user
Hi, We have a specific user who we can not find through ADMP when we try to do a search from the modify user screen. If we browse the directory with ADexplorer the user can be found. I dont think this is a refresh issue as it has been like it for a while. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi I have been using Couple of ME Products - Service Desk Plus with Asset Mgmt, ADManagerPlus, EventLogAnalyser. The tools are very effective. However one thing lacking is the proper Documentation of these products. Most of the Help documentations are mere explanation of what one sees on the screen, which is very obvious rather than the details of them , as to what it means. Last Logon not picking up IAS authentication?
Hi, I am looking to clean up our Active Directory environment with ADManager Plus. Cleaning up the computers will be pretty straight forward but the users will be a little more difficult. I ran the inactive users report against all domain controllers and sorted it by Last Logon Time. This is great if users are logging on to a machine that is part of the domain but we currently have a lot of users that work from home and VPN into our network using their domain credentials. ADManager Plus access remotely
I installed the ADManager Plus trial on a server but have noticed that to access it remotely, in any way, it has to be running on the server. Is this by design or is it because I am testing the trial version? We have a couple geographically different locations with tech that would need to use this application. Bottom line - I want to know if ADManager Plus can be installed on a central location and then used remotely via a browser without it running 24/7 on the server. Thanks! Stephanie
Modifying Templates
Is there a way to add fields when creating or modifying templates? I would like to add the Direct Reports field from the AD Organization Tab to the Organization area in the template. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Logon Hours
In Active Directory, there is a button for "Logon Hours..." on the Account tab for users. Other data from this tab (and it's other button, "Log On To...") can be bulk-managed with ADManagerPlus, but I don't see how to change Logon Hours for all user accounts. How best can this be accomplished?
Custom Permissions
Hi All - I would like to allow a role to just have modify user properties --> contact details. Is there any way to accomplish this? The Modify user general properties gives too many rights. Thanks
single sign on
Is it possible to have single sign on for AD Manager Plus? Users in my organisation do not have password. We use smartcard. So in order to log into the application we need a single sign on solution. Sort of like the "pass-through" oprion in Servicedesk Plus.
