Advanced search option for ADmanager plus
Hello, I'm in the middle of moving users Home catalogue from an old server to a new, and implementing DFS in the process. So now im trying to pull an advanced report when i want to include certain OU's. But Exclude some GPO's. I haven't found an advanced search option yet so im pondering if i should pull a report and include all OU and other extra columns, export to Excel and continue to sort it there. It would really be helpfull if there was an advanced search option though. Anyone know how or

Schedule reports to run for Office 365?
Is there a way to schedule a report to run showing Office 365 Licenses remaining or new users assigned (or removed) licences for the week? Also is there a way to manage in cloud only shared distribution lists, and/or groups from ADManager Plus?
False positives in AD group report
Hi I'm running reports to determine who are members of a couple of groups. I've selected the groups, which I know have x members in, however when I run the report it shows every member of AD in the report, so I cannot determine who is actually in teh group and who is not. It used to work fine, I've not made any changes to the config, so I'm now confused why I cant seem to report on the actual group members Thanks in advance John
Helpdesk technician reports
Hello, I have actually created 2 helpdesk technicians, one "readonly" and one "admin". Because there are some information that are in the Active Directory that only the "admin" users can view. So I was wondering if there is a way where the readonly user is limited in the fields available to add in the report he is generating. And that the admin user can still view all the fields. I am not talking about the modification templates but about the user reports. Is it possible to manage that through the

Request for report: Users not in a group
We use groups for Internet access: Blocked, Filtered, Relaxed and Unlimited. I need to be able to report on all users that are in none of these groups. As long as they're in at least one of them, they should not appear in the report. There are many scenarios where this information could be useful: Users not in the "All Users" mail group for example. If you can filter by listing users only in certain OU's rather than only at the domain level, then reporting on sites users not in site-specific mail
Change Attribute Display Name on Reports?
Hello, I was wondering if there is a way to change the default Display Name of an attribute so it exports to a CSV file with the LDAP name. For example, I would like the Display name of the SAMAccountName attribute to match the attribute name instead of being "SAM Account Name" so we can schedule reports and then run automation from the export. I tried creating a custom attribute that followed this scheme but it would not allow me to save it because it is "already configured". Cheers! Joe
PDF Report layout is unreadable
The attached screenshot illustrates the formatting issue I have with a scheduled PDF report of NTFS permissions. I can't imagine why the formatting is setup to allow the results table content to flow horizontally instead of constraining the page layout to standard document dimensions, such as legal or 11x17, even if in landscape orientation. This is occurring for me in ADManager Plus Pro, Registered, version 6.5.3, 64 Bit Build no. 6530.
Report blocking accounts
How to know the reason why an account it's blocked. Does admanager have a log to see the reasons for the block?
Last Login Report
Currently I have a scheduled report that shows me inactive users that have not logged in for the last 4 days. I have added some filters to remove some service accounts etc. It all works great. The issue I'm running into is that the report takes into account weekends and holidays. Is there any way to filter the report to give me users that are over the limit excluding weekends at the very least? Is there a different report that would work better for this? I have an excel sheet I can drop the info
Would Like a report that would Pull users by AD Attributes
Main attribute that I would like to use to generate a report is the department attribute. I currently pull reports based off OU, but with employees spread through multiple domains, and we have generic OU's for all our different branches of outside sales grouped into 1 OU. It has gotten to the point where the department and cost centers change faster than the IT Department can keep up. If I can created a auto generating report to list everyone in a Department in AD once a quarter for a review to satisfy
Unable to set a manager when doing a Refine Result on a report.
I have created and scheduled a "Soon-to-expire User Account" report. But when I try to use the Manager Attribute as a filter on the report I'm not getting any list to select a name. I have created a custom Attribute called Resource Manager and here I'm able to write the Names that I want, but I also want to be able to select a Manager. When I click the small pen I only get a blue baner called "Set a manager" and nothing else. (And the box where the names are to be shown (Beside the small pen.) is
ADManager - Inactive users "acknowedge"
Hi there, is it possible to have a kind of "acknowledge" function regards the inactive users? The goal is to identify all the inactive users, then, just in case, flag this "ack" option; in this way in the next report won't have the same user's evidence. Thanks a lot. Massi

Please advise on the best way to get the report created. Thanks

Why can't I add the "Password Expiry Date" attribute to all reports?
When I run the Interactive users report, I also want to add the "Password Expiry Date" attribute to see what accounts that have the password configured to "Never Expires". But I'm not able to do that? And when I run the Users with Password Never Expires, then I'm able to select and add the "Password Expiry Date" into the report. Is it possible to do any changes so that I can have the "Password Expiry Date" in any of my reports? The AD attribute is "userAccountControl" and when I try to add this as
Automatically printing reports
Hello everyone, A slightly odd requirement we might have on our network, that I hope someone here can perhaps help with... The goal: To have a report generated automatically every 3 hours showing everyone who logged into the AD in those last 3 hours, and to have said report automatically sent to print. The purpose of this is as a secondary method to log users who are or have recently been in the building, in a stack of paper sitting in the output tray of a printer located next to a fire exit, that

Not able to "add/remove columns" from reports after upgrade from 6300 to 6520
I recently upgraded AD Manager Plus from 6300 to 6520 and after the upgrade I can't Add or Remove any Columns to my reports. I can still move existing Attributes Up and Down. But not Add or Remove any Attributes. Are there settings that I have to do after the upgrade to have this working again? I can't find any information about this problem in the forum. /Fredrik Söderman

Automate sending emails to distribution list members
We are wanting to send emails to the members of each distribution list, asking them to reply if they wish to be removed or if the list is no longer needed. The body of the email would have this statement/question and list the name of the distribution list, the email address of the distribution list, and the members of the distribution list. We created a CSV file created from a report in ADManager that lists all of the distribution lists, their emails addresses, and the members of each list. Using

NTFS Reports
Hi I am trying to generate an NTFS Report / Permissions on Folders report, but the permissions are not displayed at all. I know the parameters of the report are correct because I can see it cycling through the folders to the specified subfolder level as the report is being generated. As I said, no results are displayed, but I can see that it believes there are a significant number of rows returned (i.e. 'Showing 1 - 50 of 240'). Also, if I export the results to a spread sheet for instance, I can

ADmanager logs display passwords in clear text
Hello, We've just discovered that ADmanager displays changed passwords in clear text in several places. One is on the Audit Report. Another is the log files on the Server where it's installed. This seems like a huge breach in security. Is there a way to to turn this off or at least an option to hash the passwords?
