Hello Experts, I installed trial version of ADManager on a member server connected to domain. Installation went successful without any error. I browse the page using server:8181 (8181 is the port that i defined in installation) and after using default logon credentials home.do page doesnt display anything :-( and status bar says "Done" I event added the URL to trusted list but still the same problem. Hi, I am looking for a easy way to create groups under a specified OU and with users from a specified OU. In this sample the groupname is called "9101", created under "\101\Security Groups Special\" and with all users from "\101\" \101\Security Groups Special\"9101" <- new group ^-----------------------------------^ users from 101 \102\Security Groups Special\"9102" <- new group ^-----------------------------------^ users from 102 etc. Is this possible? Hi, I just installed ADManager Plus (Evaluation Edition). Our customer would like to have the following reports: - Username - SAM Account Name - Last Logon Time - Computername (where the user did his last logon) - IP Address or - Computername - IP Address - Last 10 logged on Users (Time and Duration) Ist this possible with your tool? Cannot add any Service Packs to ADManager(Updatemanager.bat)
Hello, I need help!! I have installed AD Manager version 4.2.0 and it wont let me add any of the Service Packs 1, 2 or 3! I receive an error message " the file that you have specified is not compatible with this product" Please help asap. There is the same version of ADM on another PC with SP3, when I did a test of trying to add a different service pack the same error message appeared..? Many thanks, Laurel

Self-service with other HD roles
Our service center has been given the following rights, Reset Password and Unlock accounts. They do not have the ability, though, to modify their own information via the Self-Service portal unless I create separate domain accounts for them. I tried to add the options to update their address, etc, but this gives them the right over all users and I don't want them to be able to change everyone. Aside from creating separate user accounts, is there a work around where they can only update their own accounts
temporarily revoke exchange rights
Ability to revoke someones read access to their own exchange mailbox. Not disable their mailbox, but temporarily restrict their read access to it. This can be done manually in 'Active Directory Users and Groups' under the 'Exchange Advanced' tab, 'Mailbox Rights' button, and setting 'Full mailbox rights' on SELF to 'Deny'. Can we update multiple computer attributes?
We'd like to be able to update multiple attributes (eg location, description) for multiple computer accounts in the AD, using a .csv file such as that below. It seems we're only able to apply the same attribute to multiple computers - is it possible to update multiple attributes for multiple computers? Sample .csv file: name,location,description computer1,desk1,admin_pc computer2,desk3,support_pc server_a,server_room,web_server etc...

Group import .csv format?
I need to import about 45 groups into our Active Directory. I need to know what columns in the .csv are required and also what format the header row should be in. I looked at the help file but it only gives an example for adding users, not groups. A search in Goggle surprisingly didn't turn up much when it comes to group import (mostly user import). Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks!

Unable to Mass Update
Hi, I'm a new user but intelligent so this may be a stupid question. WIN 2k8 Ent AD set up I am Domain Admin. I've added all users through ADM+ which worked fine, but now want to change the passwords so open Manage Users, select Reset Password, change the appropriate parameters, upload the CSV file click GO and from the list of users Check All. The CSV only has givenName as the key. Then I click Apply but keep getting the message Cannot retrieve object from AD - Object does not exist or Access denied.
