Day Light Saving Time Patch
Hi,
Day light Saving Time changes in 2007 will affect Java applications in the United States. This leads to improper reporting of applications, which handles time related data. Updated Java Runtime Environments contain updated rules to report appropriate time with respect to the time zone.
US customers who are running build number 4104 or lesser are requested to patch the JRE.
Please follow the below mentioned steps to apply the patch:
1. Make sure your Operating System is updated with Day Light Saving Time patch from Microsoft.
2. Stop ADManager Plus (Start --> All Programs --> ADManager Plus --> Stop ADManager Plus).
3. Download Timezone updater Jar from the following link:
java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp and extract the zip to your machine.
This needs a simple registration.
4. Download the ADManager Plus patch here : bonitas.adventnet.com/cherry/20Mar2007/ME.zip
5. Extract the zip file and copy tzupdater.jar (a file that exists in the downloaded zip) to <Installation directory>/lib directory. (Ex : C:\Program Files\AdventNet\ADManager Plus\lib).
6. Save attached dstupdater.zip file in your <Installation directory>/bin directory. (Ex: C:\Program Files\AdventNet\ADManager Plus\bin) and extract the contents in the same directory.
7. Open a command prompt and go to <Installation directory>/bin directory and execute dstupdater.bat.
