Cannot Add ESXi Hosts
Hi, I have a problem adding ESXi hosts in our OpManager environment. This has worked fine previously but we have recently upgraded to OpManager 11 Build 11600 and i suspect that may be related. When I try and add a new ESXi host i now get the below error: Failed to connect the VMware Server WebService(Only vCenter Monitoring supported) Is it no longer possible to add ESXi hosts directly? If not, what's the correct procedure for monitoring these devices now? Thanks, Lee

Hi, I'm having trouble trying to integrate Opmanager with Service Desk Plus. This is how I have them set up: Both, Opmanager and Service Desk Plus in the same server. Error in the details of sincronization And if I try to save, it says that it doesn't find the Service Desk Server or that the user name is incorrect. Anybody has this problem? Regards, Jorge

Processing traps for switch port link up/down
Hi! I am trying out OpManager - how can i realize this functionality : When switch link to user port goes up or down i don't wants to see errors and i wan't switch to be in normal status. User turn their pcs on and off... But when interswitch port goes down i want to receive message and the switch to be in trouble status. Plus at the moment any event from the switch seems to put in error status, like unsuccessful login. I don't want events like these to change the status of the switch. Does anyone

Hi All Is it possible to have the status of an SNMP poll display a text string instead of a numerical RAW value? I'm trying to read the status of all the disks in an Dell EqualLogic array. Using the MIB browser, the result of the GET request is: eqlDiskStatus.1.472441240.1:-->on-line(1) When I add the OID to a custom template, the status lists the number 1 as the last polled value. Even though I know 1 means online, it would be nice to have OpManager show "on-line" as well so that it is clear that
NTServiceMonitor giving false positive if access denied

Monitor Dell Server Disks
Hello, Can someone tell me if its possible to monitor disks on a Dell Power edge server or even an HP server? I cant see any monitors that allow me to do this.... I can monitor space but what I want to monitor is if a disk goes into predictive failure or fails in a RAID. Nagios can currently do this by monitoring the server via Openmanage or SNMP on the iDrac card. Can opmanager do the same? These are the only ones I can see available to me.... Clearing alerts
Running on v12.2 ( just upgraded from 11). I have my VCenter server throwing the "VmPoweredOffEvent" and set to "Attention". The "VmPoweredOnEvent" is set to "Clear", but it does not clear the alert. Am I doing something wrong, or does something need to be changed? Thanks Adam

Remove Windows Service Monitor
I have about 100 servers that are monitoring a service that I wish to stop monitoring. The servers are not grouped in any way such as a map or view or type. Is there a way to remove this particular monitor in bulk without going into each of 100 servers? Version 12.2 Thanks Kevin

Hi, When I'm adding performance monitors, e.g. Windows Services to a device I can select each and every service by clicking the checkbox. This results in quite a few clicks. Is it possible to add a query field so that we can search for services or list al running services and then click the select all checkbox? Regards, AJ
After Upgrading from version 11.6 to 12.2 one of the probes is complaining about expiring license.
After Upgrading from version 11.6 to 12.2 one of the probes is complaining about expiring license. One of the probes upgraded successfully, it worked initially, but after a reboot was no longer able to launch. Ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the probe and that works however now it claims it will expire in 29 days.

How to show BER value correctly on BER Performance Monitor?
Hi OpManager Support I have BER monitor setup in OpManager Build version 11600, however, it is not showing correctly when the data is polled. Instead of showing, 0.000001, it is displayed as "0". The MIB Browser shows the OID string output the results to "0.0E-10" and using the Add New Monitor, in the Functional Expression, it can be changed to "StringToNumeric" which is currently setup to. However, the Test Monitor shows the values as "0". Is this a bug or design ? Is there's another way to display

Dell N2024P and N2048P cannot monitor
Hello, I have about 40 Dell N2048P and 2 N2024P switches and they are not discovered as switches (OpManager states: server). When I change it to switches it accepts it, but all the monitors are not working properly. I see that model N2024 nor N2048 are present in the list of available devices. What do I do? Thanks
OpMan/AppMan Central not linking probes
Hey there So I've setup new OpCentral and AppCentral probes and wanted to link the various OpMan and AppMan probes to it, but cannot seem to do so. Hi All, I'm trying to create a device template for a Barracuda 600Vx and have some issues with the polls. Using the MIB browser I get an error stating: "Request failed or timed out. Response PDU received from **.**.**.** Error Indication in response: There is no such variable name in this mib. Errindex: 1". If I use Paessler SNMP tester I get a correct response using the same OID. After a Wireshark trace it seems that OpManager is adding a trailing .0 to the OID. Paessler is querying .1.3.6.1.4.1.20632.2.3

SNMP v3 switchport mapper
I am running version 8 of opsutil and struggling adding switches to port mapper via snmpv3. I see the requests coming into the cisco switch, but seems nothing ever goes back out. I know the snmpv3 creds are working because I have another app polling from these devices and working just fine. Anyone have issues with this?
Interfaces on Windows objects (unmanage or remove multiple at once)
So there are tons of interfaces on a Windows Server or VM automatically included and monitored when discovered. Is there a way to mass disable the monitoring so only the primary NIC(s) are actively monitored? Manually going through one at a time and choosing Unmanage, Configure -> Disable or delete is a huge pain. BackupDB.bat stuck
We are preparing to upgrade OpManager 11.6 to 12.2 and I'm running BackupDB.bat on D:\Program Files\ManageEngine\OpManager\bin\backup. The backup starts to run but gets stuck at one particular table, I let it run over about an hour. The OpManager service was running when I initially started the backup. I have tried stopping the OpManager service, as well as closing Java and Wrapper service. It seems to get stuck at the same table every time. It moves very quickly up until this point. I am trying to set up the SPM/IPAM since I have the licensing coming in sometime today. The issue I have is this. There is no way to add items to groups that are not listed.
