Problems adding Wan RTT monitors
Hi. I'm triying to add some Wan RTT monitos but i can't, I dont have any message apart from "Error!", no error codes or anything. I've checked the snmp and telnet access to our router and works fine, is not a credential problem and I've been able to add wan RTT monitors before without any problems. Any clues?. I'm using OpManager Pro 8050 over windows 2003 server, the router is a L3 switch (cisco catalyst 3560). Regards.

credentials for asa 5500 series
I can't get the firewall to recognize the credentials im using for the firewall. I select ssh type in the username and password and hit test credentails and it fails. i know i'm using the correct credntials.

Errors Rate in Interface Templates
Hi, I am monitoring some routers and in the interface templates I have setup thresholds value for errros and discards at 5.0 % and rearm value at 4% for both. The ocurence it is setup at 3 times consecitively. Whe I go in the dashboard of an interface on the right side i see a graphic with errors and discards. There I can see the errors in and out, discard in and out. On the graphic these are as a number 10, 12, 64, etc. (picture ENP-6726.jpg). If from the dashboard of the interface I click on the

How to Set Up SNMP on a Windows 2003 Server for DHCP Scope Monitoring
Can anybody provide insight as to how to get this working? I have the SNMP service started and the oputils server is listed in the security tab with the appropriate read only community name. When I try to add the DHCP server in oputils, I get this error: "E2001: No response to SNMP queries" Does the SNMP trap service ont he windows server need to be configure as well? Any documentation or advice you can provide will be helpful. Thank you in advance.

I have many devices i don't want to add this guys email id going to each and every device and adding his email in notification profile Any quicker way i already have network map for this company. i can assign all attention related assign to this person for all device in network map for this company but are memory threshold only attention alert? i don't think so help!

Hi, I am in the process of setting up a number of WAN RTT monitor. Can you advise what the config is that is sent to the routers also what is the impact on the router if any? Can't select from list for Wake On Lan in OpUtils 5
I have the trial version of OpUtils 5 and want to add a list of PCs to a WoL schedule. I get the pop up box and click on the PCs I want and then click OK but the PCs never show up in the rule I'm creating. Do I need the full version to add the PCs from a list? I can add the PCs manually, but was hoping to test how easy it was to do a mass WoL setup.

OpManager 7 will not start new install w/ logs
Hello, I cannot get OPManager to start. This is a new install of v7. I was looking through the logs on the server, and it was referencing an active network connection that we do not use for "normal" traffic. Is there a way to specify what network adapter it uses? New to Manageengine
Hi, I am new to Manageengine, I am not sure what fits in my requirement hence i am seeking some clarification, we have different platform available like Unix, Linux, Windows, different database system MSSql 2005, Oracle, loadbalancers, firewall we would like to monitor all the above stated system. can not input a Network Range for Discover

8050 Issues
Hi since my upgrade to 8050 i have major issues end everytime i solve one with support i discover a new mulfunction. and support requests seem to take forever to be assigned. Right now i have issues with. 1. Business views with 400 members that cannot be edited (newly created or old ones) 2. alerts that do not clear 3. False WMI credential errors "Permission denied-Verify WMI credential" that are also not cleared 4. New bussiness view with few members that can be edited but dashboards do not
Active Directory Monitor in OpManager Demo?
I'm currently using the free Opmanager demo to monitor 4 server and I noticed that the AD monitoring license expires after 30 days. Since the demo is geared towards personal/SMB use, I don't think it would be unreasonable to allow, say, the perpetual monitoring of one domain controller without expiration. Any chance of this ever occurring? Thanks in advance.

Hi, Does anybody know how i can monitor harddrives with opmanager? for instance i want to receive an alert when a drive fails. I tested raid failures with eventlog. I added a custom rule with the correct eventid but I do not receive an alert in opmanager.........(alert is generated in eventviewer only) Anybody experienced with this case? bye, Daan
Monitor Virtual VMWare Switches?
I am currently using the trial of OpUtils. I am working on mapping our network switches. I've noticed that my VMWare machines always come up with their parent switch as unknown. Since this is a virtual switch - is there a way for me to have OpUtils talk to VMWare and get the switch/port information in this way? Thanks. Dave Mackey.

My availibility report graph stays blue, even though the Server is up...Also the availibilty report generated reports that we have 100% uptime when infact the server was down...

Is there a setting somewhere in the bandwidth monitor that will allow one to see the sites comprising the web traffice? For example seeing if a user is streaming espn or using utube all day. Thanks.

the opmanager cannot discover all the interfaces of cisco 6509 which has hundreds of interface. i had tried many times to rediscover the interface. but it just discovered less than a dozen's interface. how can i add a specific interface of a switch to monitor, if i had know the index of the interface.
Multiple Performance Monitors in one Widget
Hi, Is it possible to have multiple performance monitors from a one device in a single widget? I know there's a "Last Polled Value of a Performance Monitor" -widget, but I want to see polled values from multiple perfomance monitors. Let me you give an example: I have 15 different dhcp-scopes and I monitor each scope's available addresses. Now I have to use different widget's for each scope instead of one. -Mikko

Forwrding Alert to Servicedesk
Hi Is there any plans to allow the forwarding of alerts to servicedesk? At the moment we review daily the windows events, many of these we can ignor but still need to be informed about. It would be great if we could select an alert and click "Create Request" which then creates a support request in servicedesk. I know we could set up notifications to do this but this would creat too many false positives. Regards Mike

I have hundreds of devices that I would like to both add (the monitors have already been created) and remove custom monitors from. How can I do this? Similarly, I need to remove Resource Monitors and Vendor Specific monitors from hundreds of devices. How can I do this?
