Critical update for Desktop Central versions older than 92056!
What is the change? Desktop Central's patch management has released a new schema to support various features for Windows, Mac & Linux patch management. What will be the impact? If you are running Desktop Central version older than 92056, you will not be able to synchronise the latest patch updates. What should I do? Upgrade to the latest build on or before 16th March 2017, to continue using patch management.
Firefox 52.0 32bit download
I had firefox 52.0 downloaded in my patch store but noticed that last few days 1 pc was failing to install this patch with error Download Success but checksum failed. It is only failing on 1 machine. When I attempt to redownload the patch i get Firefox Setup 52.0.exePatch status : Download blocked by firewall/antivirus.Enable firewall configuration or exclude antivirus to allow downloads from http://download-installer.cdn.mozilla.net. Windows 10 and Boot Time
Hi, I do have a problem with Windows 10 and the boot sequence. Roling out software or patches "at boot time" does not work for days. I think it has something to do with the new quick startup features of windows 10. If I take a look at the overview of all systems many of them show a "last boot time" of days ago - and I know they are shut down every evening. Pushing out just the latest patch for a product?
We're just testing out Desktop Central. We're having an issue pushing the agent out via the interface (Unable to get the Agent Status. Operation timed out - logged a call with support a few days ago and still nothing back) But my main query at the moment is this - can you just push out the latest update for a product? For example I've added the agent to my PC manually and have patched it remotely, but Adobe Standard has several updates to be applied, but they only get pulled down one at a time and

I think this has been discussed here before but if not I wanted to suggest it. So Desktop Central (henceforth referred to as DTC) has the ability to schedule updates. What I'd like to see is the following: During the week I schedule windows updates for all my machines to take place on the weekend/specific date/time. Database Patch Management
Hi all, i would like to know if it possible to populate a database repository, doing a manual download of the patches I need away from the platform. The reason why it's about a particular customer who has an extremely slow data connection, I have to filter and lock automatic updates because there is no sufficient bandwith for the whole lan network. At my office I tried to download all the patches I needed, depending on kb code showed as "to be downloaded" and put into the repository path to the customer's.

Windows 10 updates - can we disable so only Desktop Central can pushes updates and restart the machine?
We have multiple windows 10 machines that are still 'updating' on their own and forcing machines to restart even with the Desktop Central Agent on the machine. Is there anyway to disable windows via the Desktop Central console or through group policy, if we have to, for machines to only receive updates from Desktop Central? Thanks Tom

Hi Folks, There seems to be a change in the Adobe download policy which is in turn affecting the download of these patches in Desktop Central. What is the change? My Nessus security scans says I need office patches but DC says my PC is up to date
I am doing security scans on my network PC's and servers and they are reporting that patches are not installed however desktop central says my PC is up to date and healthy. On my own PC I am seeing office updates needed in the scan but if I run a standard windows update that also says I am up to date Are there some updates that do not install automatically but are required for security? If so is there any way I can get those using desktop central? Thanks

Flash 24.0.0.194 was released on 1/10/2017 but a significant portion of my systems are still on the 186 release. Desktop Central is not showing any missing patches for Flash Player. I'm assuming the systems that are on 194 were self-patched by the Adobe updater process. Does Desktop Central no longer provide automatic patching for Flash player?

Update custom software
I know Desktop Central has the ability to push MSI installs to clients, but we were wondering if it is possible to add custom software to the list of software that gets automatic updates? The end goal is to come up with a way to push MSIs automatically without intervention. If the only way to push software is to manually run configurations by uploading the new MSI then we probably move onto another solution. I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing any functionally that Desktop Central offered.
DesktopCentral Server Makes Heavy Upload on Internet and Stops the Network
Hi, our main Desktop Central has a problem, when we turn it on it makes heavy upload on Internet for hours which makes our network very slow and also the server itself (it consumes all the bandwidth which is 40 MB). the problem happened after I downloaded critical Windows updates to the Server in order to deploy it on clients. anyone can help me know the problem as now we switched it off until solve the problem .. thanks.
Invalid Certificate When Patching
I have a number of updates that are failing to be installed on one computer. Each of them is a Microsoft update or rollup from between October 2016 and December 2016. They all fail with this error message: The certificate for the signer of the message is invalid or not found. No other computer has had this issue. Patch IDs are 21627 21847 21850 21904 21926 21928 103689 103821 What would cause these patches to fail with this message? Why have some 80 odd other very similar builds not been affected?

Remote Site Caching options
Hello, I am looking at Manage Engine for Patch Management and also Image deployment for a Microsoft environment. This is made up from one central site and 40+ smaller sites covering approx. 1000 assets in total. I have seen that SCCM has the option for peer cache that means that it is possible that an onsite PC can be used to cache the updates or images at the remote site. This removes the need to have a server onsite. Is there similar option for Manage Engine, or what are the suggested options
MS15-118: newly detect as missing but not!
Hi we use remote desktop to manage patches. Today 22 Dec 2016 I found for my servers following patch Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 on Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2 (KB3098785) as missing while still yesterday all scan not showed it. Suggestion for Feature - Ability for Offline Patch Deployments with Notification and User options.
I'm proposing to have locally cached deployment option. We have users that take their laptops home every day and even for weekend. Having ability to cache patches for installation on their machine while they are not building and give them option to when to apply them. Here is a quick scenario how that would work. User is scheduled to get patches on Monday Morning between 12am a - 10am. They take laptop home on friday and don't come back into office until 9am which only leaves 1 hour of deployment
