How to disable the "Trust this browser" option for technicians in ADManager Plus when 2FA is enabled

How to disable the "Trust this browser" option for technicians in ADManager Plus when 2FA is enabled

Objective

To ensure higher login security by requiring technicians to complete two-factor authentication (2FA) at every login, regardless of browser or device. This configuration is useful in environments where shared systems are used or where persistent login trust is considered a security risk. Disabling the "Trust this browser" option helps enforce strict authentication policies across all technician sessions.

Prerequisites

  • You must be a built-in admin or super admin in ADManager Plus.

Steps to disable the trust this browser option

  1. Log in to ADManager Plus as a built-in admin.

  2. Navigate to Delegation > Configuration > Logon Settings > Two-Factor Authentication.

  3. In the top-right corner of the 2FA settings section, click More options.

  4. In the pop-up window, uncheck the Enable the "Trust this browser" option during authentication option.

  5. Click Save to apply the changes.

Tips

  • Once disabled, technicians will be prompted for 2FA on every login, regardless of previously trusted browsers.

  • Any change to this setting affects all technicians using 2FA in the product.
