How to add a report as a widget in the EventLog Analyzer dashboard
Objective
To help users quickly visualize and track critical report insights by adding them as widgets to the EventLog Analyzer dashboard for easier monitoring and faster decision‑making.
Prerequisite
Access to the EventLog Analyzer web console.
An existing report created or available in the Reports section.
Sufficient privileges to customize dashboards.
Steps to follow
Log in to the EventLog Analyzer console.
Navigate to the Reports module.
Select the report you want to display as a dashboard widget.
Click the More option at the top‑right corner and choose Pin to Dashboard.

In the Select Tab dropdown, choose the dashboard tab where the widget should be added.

In the Widget dropdown, choose the widget view. Based on the log source and report type, the widget view options may include Top Devices, Top Sources, or the Report View.

Select the Widget Type — Graph, Table, or Tile, depending on what is supported for the selected report.
If Graph is selected, configure the chart type and chart colour as needed for better visualization.

If the Table is selected, the widget will appear in a tabular format.
Enter a Display Name for the widget.
Click Add to publish the widget to the dashboard.

Navigate to the dashboard to confirm the widget appears under the selected tab.

Tips
Use custom dashboards to group related reports for specific teams (e.g., Security, Compliance, Operations).
For better performance, avoid adding too many high‑volume reports as widgets on a single dashboard.
Custom widgets created by a technician are visible only to that technician and are not shared with other users.
