Issue:
Frequent "Out of storage" notifications in Bell notifications.
What's happening in the backend.
1. Some of the mails aren't deleted from the mailbox after getting processed.
2. These mails are fetched again by SDP since SDP fetches all mails available in the Inbox folder.
3. However, SDP doesn't process the mail from the second time since it was already processed.
4. If the mail doesn't gets deleted for 2 schedules, SDP presumes that storage in the mailbox gets filled so that mails aren't getting deleted (happens in O365 environments). So, notification gets triggered.
Fix:
SDP waits for atleast 10 mails to fail to delete to assume that there is a storage issue. So, for intermittent rare scenarios, the notification will not be triggered.
Steps to apply the fix:
1. Download the fjar file compatible to your build version. Check the compatibility in the below table.
2. Click here on steps to apply the fjar file.
3. Restart the application service.
4. Check for the issue.
5. If the issue occurs, immediately zip the logs (<server_home>\logs folder. For eg: C:\Program Files\ManageEngine\ServiceDesk\logs folder) and share it with us for analysis. If the size of the log file is huge, you can send it to us using our FTP link https://bonitas2.zohocorp.com/. Select the product as "ServiceDesk Plus" and provide the proper ticket number.
