Nor able to create HTTP monitor with form based login
Hi Tryning to create a HTTP monitor for a formbased login site, but not able to login When trying the Recorder application - it is not able to view the login page. Can you help me? How can I configure the monitor? The page uses formbased login into Wildfly with j_unsername & j_password paramaters. I have tried with the NTLM/basic auth username & password but it's not passing the login page, Try ourself with the site http://my.logiq.no Thomas
Can't Run Query Reports
Hi there, I have a report in which I need to run with full descriptions instead of a summary. Doing some google searching I found that I could run a query report to accomplish this. However, when adjusting the report to the query editor, I am receiving an error message. Report to show assets not correctly assigned
Hi, would like to create a report to show where assigned assets do not match the last logged in user, is this possible? We manually assign assets (laptops) when issued to staff but sometimes the asset is not correctly updated by our technicians and so we need to flag these up for remedial.
Custom scripts How-To
There are certain actions that I want to be able to trigger at the rule assignment stage of the workflow. I see where I can choose a custom script but I don't see how to define the script. I can write a script to do what I need but where do I put it and how do I reference it from the app? Is there a way I can pass values to it or are values already being passed by default? I don't see where this is covered in the documentation so if it's there and you can point me to it that's fine too. Thanks! Jack

Error Message when trying to apply Build Update
I am currently at Build 92099. I downloaded the ppm for 92113 from the website, when i try to apply I get error message "This Build 92113 is currently not recommended for your network. Please wait til you get latest build updates from Desktop Central". Please advise why I get this message, and if it is not for me why is it available to me.
Email spoofed to appear to come from technicians
Is it possible that when a technician emails the requestor the email appears to come from the technicians email defined in their profile but the reply to address is actually the service desk email which allows the ticket to be updated?

Task Notification prior to due date
I've seen where a task notification can be sent to the task owner when the task is assigned, and when the task becomes due, however, I can't seem to find an option to send a notification for an incomplete task that is due "x" days prior to the due date - example: There is a task that is incomplete and due in 2 days. I want a notification sent to remind the task owner that the task will be due in 2 days. Is this possible?
Problem when exporting reports to PDF
When exporting an AD report to a PDF, some of the fields are getting cut off so all of the information is not displayed. This does not happen when exporting to other formats, only PDF. Is this a known issue? Is there a workaround?
Moving Phone to new Mobile Device Manager

CPU Utilization Extremely High

Custom Script says it executed, but doesn't actually
I'm sending the following command through a Custom Script to one machine powershell -noprofile Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned -Force This command works fine when I run it manually from a command prompt running under the System account on the server. However, when I push it through the Custom Script option in Desktop Central, it reports that it executed successfully, but the ExcecutionPolicy is not actually changed on the server. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Launch a .cmd batch file as a network admin per computer
I need to run a .cmd file as a network admin user on each computer. The .cmd file checks the version of certain files, copies down new files from a network share if needed and then initiates a silent software install from a network share. I need to do this per computer not per user. I have tried several methods, Launch application, launch application as a cmd.exe, add to software packages as cmd.exe with all the command lines. I cannot get it to be launched or if it is it does not run correctly.

Hello Checked Documentation and didn't find answer for our solution. Please could anyone guide firewall/DC/DS/Agent settings. We have DeskCentral server located in CorporateNetwork, many DistributionServer located in different offices (within CorpNetwork) We have many laptop users working at home/Public One more DC installed at AWS (as DMZ) with Firewalls rules (described in Documentation about DMZ) Solution is not working. I am in the process of setting up our test environment prior to upgrading to 9.2. I've tried to find a link to download the 9.0 version so I can transfer my production database to the test system and then perform the upgrade. If anyone can help : The Network installation shows 1 but in Associate License > Installed Computers- shows 2 computers. WHY? AND Q: Why there are an option to push to the Associated Computers ?? What difference it make? Thank you.
How to disable HTTP?
We have HTTPS enabled on Desktop Central console but are still able to connect to the web ui through HTTP over port 8022 (working via TCP 80). How do we disable this? We would like it so that it is ONLY accessible over HTTPS. Thanks.
postgres Query for files by computer
HI Guys, Can someone please help me with a postgres report for getting the files that are on all our PC's. Grouped by computer. At the moment it only shows the count. We would like to drill down to see the files if possiable. With the new file types feature i assume this can be done? Thanks for the help. Windows 10 Anniversary Build 1607 False Positive Finding
I've been working on pushing out the Windows 10 1607 build to some of our PCs. Because Microsoft has been having issues with 1607 and the cumulative updates, they've had to create multiple variations of those cumulative updates each month. In September and October I've noticed on our PCs with 1607 that I receive false positives after the newer CU is applied. Example: KB111111 is released and applied to a PC. Desktop Central scans the PC and all is well. KB111112 is released to fix an issue with KB111111

Remote Office in DMZ
Some background, we have many autonomous business units with no connection back to us besides VPN. We want to supply patch management capabilities through ManageEngine. Is it possible to drop a remote office in the DMZ have the BU in that remote office and open ports back to the main console so they can manage their own remote office? Has anyone done a setup like this? Alternatively has anyone moved to the MSP model and can provide information on how it differs from Enterprise? Thanks.

Patch dependency
Hello, I was patching a pc when I got a message in DC saying that patch id 21330 was not applicable. The reason was "dependency patch is not applicable for this target". I checked in the log and found that patch id 21330 is dependent on patch 103214 which doesn't even show up as missing anywhere. I manually installed the patch on the system and got no errors. Did a patch scan after that and the 21330 patch is installed on the system. Is there an issue with that patch's dependency info ? Why did I

Managing Google Chrome
It's been decided that google chrome will not be allowed on our systems. Unfortunately a mixture of administrators and the ability to install it without administrative access has meant that we now have 314 instances of it on our network. Is there an easy way to manage this within Desktop Central as the 'Prohibited' doesn't seem to be able to manage it due to the nature on the none admin installs etc? The issue that I am having is I am trying to upload a CSV file with the licence information ect, so I can manage our licences easier. The issue I'm facing is that I'm downloading the CSV file from the software licence report and when I attempt to upload the same csv file in the manage licence section, it tells me that it is not in the correct format to upload it. I am unsure why this is the case when I am downloading the CSV file from desktop central and when I don't edit the file and try to upload

Can the DueBy date or any of the other date fields be added to the incident template? I have an item set up for "Off-Boarding" an employee, I would like the submitter to be able to set the date which it needs to be done by without having to go back in after the ticket is created to set the date.

I would like to ask you for create option in service desk, which will be responsible for giving permissions only to see specific elements of request. For example: serviceman from one group will be able only to see tasks and/or attachments, but not content of request, which has been created by member of another group.

Hi, I wanted to make a simply script to add an option of choose of one field. script: $CS.addOptions("ServiceReq_1801_UDF_CHAR2",["Piotr","Andrzej","Jerzy"]); Unfortunately it doesn't work. For example function: $CS.removeAllOptions(["ServiceReq_1801_UDF_CHAR2"]); works correctly. Do you know what can be a reason of this?
