Trap Processor Enterprise OID Field
I have several devices which can send linkdown traps, but each one send with different varbinds. I've created different traps rules (Admin->Snmp Trap Processor) and tried to associate each rule with the correct trap matching the enterprise oid field. But this doesn't work, all notifications fall in the default linkdown rule. Any idea? Regards Andres

SLA Reporting / Subscribe to a request/ticket
Hi there, I'm currently evaluation ServiceDesk Plus, and I only need few things to be clarified before I make my decision. First question: I have two groups defined and wants to know how these two groups performs every week, according to the SLA. So every monday, I would like to know how many percent of the requests/tickets was finished within the defined SLA. An example output could be like this: High SLA = 86 % Normal SLA = 100 % Low SLA = 55 % Is it possible, and how do I do this? Second question:
Report Error/Query
When I run the Report: Reports by completed requests requests>>completed requests by department I get results of all departments that have 7 or more requests closed, but the rest which is a reasonable proportion of total get calculated in the OTHERS total. Can I get all the departments shown in this report without having to trawl through the xls spreadsheet to manually determine which departments had requests closed in the calender month/period. Hope this makes sense and can be easily changed?
Auto assign Tasks
Hi Team, We have created a Request Template and added a bunch of tasks to it. We would really like it if when the request is raised using this template that the tasks are just assigned to the same technician who has the request assigned to them. Is this currently possible? If not, is it something that could be included in the future? Perhaps a check box on the template that says auto-assign tasks, as in some instances you would not want this. Cheers, Mike.

Ability to auto assign tasks to the technician dealing with the request. When creating a Service Desk template you can create the tasks and tick a box to have them auto assigned to the technician that is assigned to the request.

When a support technician sends a reply to a user who has raised a ticket, the user may forget or not even notice that they have had an e-mail response. I would like the option to effectively "re-send" the e-mail in the event nothing is heard from the user after a set period of time. The idea would be that when you expand a e-mail to list it's contents, a "Remind User" button would be displayed to give you the option to re-send it.

Notif for alarm raised out of time window never send
Hi! One new question. For the time window of notification profiles, what should happen when alarms come out of this window? I would expect that notification emails be stored and forwarded when the notification is "enabled" again (i.e, when the time window is started again). But I've seen that such notifications are silently dropped, so they are never send. Is there any plan to change this behavior in next releases? Is there any workaround? Thanks. Regards, Andres
Set up URL Monitor to retry before alerting
The URL monitor in OpManager is sending too many alerts for URLs that are slow to respond. We have some URLs that will occasionally time out, but then come right back up. Our old monitoring system worked like this: 1. Poll URL every 5 minutes. 2. If URL seems down, poll 5 more times at 15 second intervals. 3. If the URL fails to come up 5 times, THEN alert the sysadmin. Can OpManager do this? If not it's value is greatly decreased in my humble opinion. False alerts are extremely annoying to the on-call

Scheduled Import Requesters from Active Directory
When doing a manual AD import there is a wizard to select what to import: "Import Wizard Choose the Organizational units from which you want to import." We like this feature, and only choose OU's that include our users. We do not select OU's that contain disabled or service accounts. When we configure a daily automatic import, we do not get the wizard that allows an OU selection. Automatic import brings in everything. Which we do not want.

easy way for creating different notification time criteria
Hello, I created an notification profile "UPS_SMS" for sending SMS by modem. If a specific event happens, I only want to get an SMS - Mo-Fr 17:00 to 05:00 - Sa/Su 0:00 to 24:00 How can I configure this? When I associate the Mo-Fr timescale to an device and after that I associate the Sa/Su timescale to the same device only the second, the Sa/So timescale is associated to the device. How can I configure both without using to different profiles. Many thanks for answers

The reports I have generated send the attachment as a .zip file containing a .pdf file. It is possible to send the e-mail without zipping it?

Notification Profile not working (Please Help)
Hi All, I am new to OPmanager and I have a task at hand. OpManager notification used to work fine until recently. OpManager stopped sending alert e-mails. I double checked the smtp server setting and they are configured correctly. I was able to send test emails successfully. I also tried a telnet test from the OpManager server to the SMTP server, and this also works fine. Can anyone please advise with this? Thanks

Reporting on Event log events
Hello, I'm a newbie to OpManager7, I think I'm missing something basic. I've got a nubmer of Windows Servers for which I've configured Event Log rules and would like to get cumulative report for all those servers (think logon events on domain controllers for example), but when I go to Custom Report I only get the option of selecting a single machine. Grateful for any pointers, the helpfile doesn't seem to be of much help in this instance, or maybe I'm just not seeing wood for the trees. Thanks, R.

Why you didn't make Multi relation in "Used by" field? (At Asset detail, relation tab). I think it's common situation when one asset used by several users or departments or both. Do you plan to implement it?

Enforcing AD password rules
It appears that ADSelfService Plus does not follow the password history setting in AD, allowing people to use the tool to keep using the same password over and over. Are there any plans to fix this oversight?
Easy way to turn on/off business rules
It would be nice to have radio buttons to allow an easy on/off function of business rules. Some rules I may wish to turn off for periods of time and this would make it easy to do so without having to delete the rule, then recreate the rule a few weeks/months later.

i am running opmanager 7010 and am trying to add a number of devices, but i get an error that the device is already present. when i search for the device, nothing is found. i followed the steps in solution 1808, but received an error that it was unable to create db connection. the opmanager db is running on another sql server and is sql 2005 sp2. please advise how to resolve this issue. thanks. I wanting to put multiple required items in a "Description contains". If I add more than 1, it is changed to an "or" instead of an "and". Is there a way to get around this.
