Hi, I need some help here I watched the video you sent me about creating the template everything went smoothly but current I facing a problem here is that those monitor items is not working that I selected from below. My Firewall I using is Fortigate300C which I don't think you have it so I created it myself. VPN and OpManager
Hi, My team and I are evaluating the OpManager. The issue that I am having with the OpManager is our VPN appliance. We are using PulseSecure/Juniper MAG VPN appliance. The OpManager discovered the MAG via snmp v2c (to make things simple for now), but it is not providing any data. We are also using Zabbix, and Zabbix is giving us way more information compare to OpManager with no data at all. Does anyone have this issue with VPN and OpManager? Thanks
Dashboards and CCTV views in v12.2
Hello We have couple of issues/quirks with v12.2. The first is the real time graphs for bandwidth monitoring on the dashboard. Is there any way to change the percentage on the graph to something more useful like the bandwidth in Mb per sec? The second is we use a dashboard showing all of our sites current status (which shortcuts to a business view for each site) is there anyway to increase the size in the dashboard widget and CCTV views? as the current size is far too small to see on a 50" wallboard
MIB browser
Hi Guys, i am new to this tool over here. I added my Fortigate300C to monitor and I wanted to add in my own MIB files to it I used the MIB browser then I read from their website which they indicated that there is a set button or something to set into my device. Moving OpManager App and DB Servers to new machines

Change of the computer name on which the application is running
Hello, I have a situation where we are changing the naming convention for our organization. This is based on the ISO standards. Our Environment is monitored using OPManager v.12.2. OpManager losing connection with SQL Server database
We're now running OpManager V9010 with MS-SQL server as a default database. Sometimes OpManager stops to show collected information about all devices. the wrapper.log shows that the application loses the connection with the database and after a few seconds it tries to reconnect. sometimes this procedure is taking too much time to get the things back to the normal. I'd like to know why this problem happens and if there is a way to fix it ! The only way to normalize is restarting the OpManager
Variables (There seem to be a lot of them)
Apparently there are a lot of places where variables are used. But there is no place where all the default variables available are listed and defined as to their expected values. Can someone provide a link to where these are listed and defined? This seems to be a big hole in the documentation. Daren

Long Login times
Hi, We had installed AppManager to test it out and are trying to remove it in OpManager but now after removing it are experiencing long login times and strange messages in the log file. The error we are seeing in the logs continuously is: ServerOut: AppManagerProcess isInitialized: true And when trying to login, the following screen appears for about 5 mins then you are at the login screen:
Wasted space around Business Views
Is there any way to get the Business View to use all available space in its widget? The view appears small making it a bit useless, however there is lots of space around it which can be used. OPManager stops working at Once
Dear Support team I am facing issue with my OPManager . As i was monitoring almost 250 devices VIA OPManager (Servers , Routers, Switches , Time attendance devices, Firewalls, Proxy devices ETC) but OPManagers stops reading all devices at once. Even i am using licensed version of OPManager. Only AMS (Support contract is expired) . Since the AMS contract expired i am facing issue. Partitions details query
Good day I've noticed when certain servers alert on partition details, some alerts show the affected drive while others don't. This means our helpdesk guys need to click on the alert, then click on the server, go into monitors and check which threshold is violated. Do you guys know why this is the case? Cannot Add ESXi Hosts
Hi, I have a problem adding ESXi hosts in our OpManager environment. This has worked fine previously but we have recently upgraded to OpManager 11 Build 11600 and i suspect that may be related. When I try and add a new ESXi host i now get the below error: Failed to connect the VMware Server WebService(Only vCenter Monitoring supported) Is it no longer possible to add ESXi hosts directly? Hi, I'm having trouble trying to integrate Opmanager with Service Desk Plus. This is how I have them set up: Both, Opmanager and Service Desk Plus in the same server. Processing traps for switch port link up/down
Hi! I am trying out OpManager - how can i realize this functionality : When switch link to user port goes up or down i don't wants to see errors and i wan't switch to be in normal status. User turn their pcs on and off... But when interswitch port goes down i want to receive message and the switch to be in trouble status. Plus at the moment any event from the switch seems to put in error status, like unsuccessful login. I don't want events like these to change the status of the switch. Does anyone

Hi All Is it possible to have the status of an SNMP poll display a text string instead of a numerical RAW value? I'm trying to read the status of all the disks in an Dell EqualLogic array. Using the MIB browser, the result of the GET request is: eqlDiskStatus.1.472441240.1:-->on-line(1) When I add the OID to a custom template, the status lists the number 1 as the last polled value. Even though I know 1 means online, it would be nice to have OpManager show "on-line" as well so that it is clear that
NTServiceMonitor giving false positive if access denied
Hi, It seems that a "Windows Service Monitor" gives green check mark status when access is denied due to invalid credentials or insufficient permissions. I can reproduce the issue at several customers. Could you please check the issue internally? Regards, AJ

Monitor Dell Server Disks
Hello, Can someone tell me if its possible to monitor disks on a Dell Power edge server or even an HP server? I cant see any monitors that allow me to do this.... I can monitor space but what I want to monitor is if a disk goes into predictive failure or fails in a RAID. Nagios can currently do this by monitoring the server via Openmanage or SNMP on the iDrac card. Can opmanager do the same? These are the only ones I can see available to me.... Clearing alerts
Running on v12.2 ( just upgraded from 11). I have my VCenter server throwing the "VmPoweredOffEvent" and set to "Attention". The "VmPoweredOnEvent" is set to "Clear", but it does not clear the alert. Am I doing something wrong, or does something need to be changed? Thanks Adam
