Threshold Value issue on opmanager in version 12200
We have added our windows device on Op Manager for monitoring in that we have set threshold value 90% to send alarm and re-alarm value as 85%. But after saving threshold value its getting disappear or unable to save.We are currently upgrade our version from 9 to 12.

opmanager not polling url monitor
Hello, I have a issue in my url monitor is not polling. Recently, I dont have alerts when I down my services (urls), before I have alert for this events In the monithos show that the last pool was: Next Poll at 13 Jan 2017 05:50:40 AM CST Match Content Last Polled at 13 Jan 2017 05:46:41 AM CST Last Alarm I do this test, I have down the service and I check the monitor url and all look ok, so I click for update the status and the status has changed to down and the alert send to the mail only
"sysUpTime" trap showing up as Critical alarm
Hi, my Cisco switches are sending out these "sysUpTime" traps, and OpManager is not only showing them as alarms, it's showing them as critical. Why are these showing up as alarms? Monitoring Linux and Red Hat servers using Opmanager MSP
Hi Does anyone out there have experience with monitoring Linux, Fedora, Red Hat or other flavours of Unix servers using Opmanager MSP. Is it just a case of turning on SNMP on the servers if this is an option. Hi, We have Opmanager 12200 with Application Manager installed. We currently monitoring the availability of lots of URL's for internal services, along with also having individual servers monitored. I.e 1 web application used is on webapp1.domain.internal:8080 but this is a load balanced URL and consists of 3 servers, we also monitor server1.domain.local:8080, server2.domain.local:8080, server3.domain.local:8080 Another web application used is on webapp2.domain.internal:8080 but this is a load balanced
Improvement for Business views in v12?
So we have found another issue/quirk in Business Views that may need addressing in the next version. In v11600 you could position the label for a device or shortcut in 8 places around the icon Shortcut options and the result Now in v12xxx do don't get that option. and the result This isn't too bad apart from any shortcuts on the bottom the edge of a map as the label can't be seen. But when on a business view any links cross though rendering the label difficult to read as they are all placed

Would you like to know how to import the availability report of a certain device to PDF? In the current version this option is not appearing. As you can see in the image below does not appear the option to import, version 11.6 was possible.

Opmanager v12 - Netflow license
Hello, I am just installed a free edition of Opmanger v12 in my company and I am just going to implement in few days, so will need to discuss regarding license part later. For, free edition of Opmanager, it supports upto 2 devices of NETFLOW AND 2 devices for NCM. My question is I am not able to configure netflow analayzer even after installing the APM Plugin. I have enabled sflow on a PowerConnect 2048P. I have set polling and sampling on 3 interfaces but NFA in OpManager is showing 15 interfaces. Am i going to need to license all 15 NFA interfaces for that device? Enabling SSL on OpManager server has broken Office365 email alerts
OpManager Ver. 12200 After enabling SSL on the OpManager server i am no longer able to use Office365 as my SMTP server for alerts. I recieve the error "Primary : javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException cannot be cast to javax.mail.MessagingException" when testing the email settings. SMTP server: smtp.office365.com Port: 587 TLS Enabled This was working fine prior to enabling SSL on the server. Any thoughts? Thank You

Cannot install OpManager
Hi, I'm trying to install the free edition of OpManager on my server, but it just ends the installation with a small input form asking for my username/phone/email then says when I submit that support will be in contact. Devices Report 100% packet loss
On the latest build of OPManager. We have several devices like switches, servers, vm etc being monitored. OPManager is reporting 100% packet loss on some devices. Those devices are up and running. Not sure why opmanager would report 100% loss

Trouble status on switch ports that are up and with traffic
Hi there, I have some switchs with ports in the state orange / Trouble (but not in alarms!) but are with traffic and up. On Interfaces: - Admin Status is Up - Oper Status is Down On "Configure Interfaces": - Manage is Checked - Status Poll is Not Checked (we don't want to know when some ports are up or down, they are desktop computers ports). Why is the state Trouble in those ports? (screenshot attached). ´ Thanks. Pedro.
SNMP Issues
Hi All, I've recently setup/configured opmanager and am trying to retrieve Installed Software,Active processes, Device notes and anything else that relies on SNMP Trap. So I started the SNMP Trap service and also allowed it in the firewall on the local server. But am still unable to retrieve the information. The next steps I guess would be to trouble shoot SNMP and if it is sending/receiving useing a 3rd party tool. Does anyone have anything in mind? Or has anyone ran in to these issues? Cheers,
How to add syslog monitors to linux machines?

Re-Catagorize Servers to Virtual Device
When trying to change a device Catagory from Server to VirtualDevice getting a pop-up message saying it can't be changed to Virtual Device if not discovered as VirtualDevice. So we have to delete and re-add VMWare and HyperV servers as virtual devices? Is there no other way to do this? I have 33 Host servers. This would require I reset everything up for each one (Services monitored, Notification Profiles, etc...) Any insight or help would be great! :) Thanks, RobS

HyperV VM "The value specified for parameter[entityID] is wrong."
Hi there, When looking at virtual machines of a hyperv server, when i choose the "play" button (green triangle) it asks me the IP address and community of the vm machine that i want to start monitorizing. The problem is that, when i choose ok it gives me the following error at the top o f the page: "The value specified for parameter[entityID] is wrong." Am I missing something? Pedro.

Why does the "Last Polled at" field remain blank when restarting the server? How do I force all the Pool at once? For example, all the monitors are blank, I want to perform the pool of all the monitors of the server, how to do?

Mibs configuration
Hello, I have some issues configuring Mibs from a getaway.....I have the mibs from the vendor and when I test it on the mib browser it seems to work fine. However I get a table and I want to monitor a specific value of the table. As you can see on the attached image if I get the values from the table the Object ID wuld be 1.3.6.1.4.1.5003.10.10.2.21 and I get the values .0.0 .0.1 .0.2 .1.0 ..etc the other option is to go down on the tree an the Object ID will add .1 at the end and .1.3 depending
Readding Default Dashboards
Now we have upgraded to V12.2 I have noticed the default Dashboards are empty. I'm not sure if this was removed because they were not used, is there any way to add back the standard Dashboards as the tabs are there, however when clicked they are blank.
