MapMaker console hangs on business view
How can I delete a business view without using the MapMaker Java console? I created a business view, but something went wrong in the creation (possibly because there is a space in the name?). Now when I go into MapMaker it defaults to that view and hangs the console? Any ideas? Thanks
Memory Graph in cisco 3745 router
In Cisco3745 router i am unable to see any graph for the memory utilisation. For CPU utilisation the graph is showing up fine. In memory test monitor its showing the test ok but actually its not visible at main sheet graph pl see the attached result Regards, Jagjeet SIngh
Probe and sentral server sync error
Hi I have a probe and a central server om the same subnet but they cant agree if the services are up and running or down. On the probe the SMTP, WEB and DNS are just fine . But on the Central server the same services are reported as down. If I take a closer look on the service polling graf the service are in the left pan reported as down and at the rigth side the service uptime are just fine. See picture added.
OpManager MSP Scheduled Reports
Hi, I am testing OpManager MSP and the first thing I noticed is that the option for scheduled reports is not there. I checked both the Central Server and the Probes and could not find it under Admin - Tools, or anywhere else. Am I missing something or it just not there ?. Thanks
Maps Display Name
The title of my device gets cut short in the Maps Tab. Home Page > Click "Maps" > Select View Details So for example I see this. TX-Servername-... (full name is: TX-Servername-28) TX-Servername-... (full name is: TX-Servername-29) TX-Servername-... (full name is: TX-Servername-30) TX-Servername-... (full name is: TX-Servername-31) TX-Servername-... (full name is: TX-Servername-32) TX-Servername-... (full name is: TX-Servername-33) How can I make it display the FULL name of the device? Please advise.
Difference between Reports and Schedule Reports
Dear support, Last week I started to use OpManager Reports which might be very useful for the overview of my network. But I have found a few things which are not very clear to me. When I go to tab REPORTS->SERVERS->All Servers Disk Usage Report everything looks fine. All partitions are sorted by devices, which is very good and the values are correct. When I restored DATA (Backup from Opmanager 5 and Restore in Opmanager 6) by using command "RestoreDB.bat" It showed these messages - Restore across database detected. difference OpManager Pro / OpManager MSP
Good afternoon, I would like to understand to major differences between normal version and MSP. I know the principle of MSP lays on a central server and several probes in order to monitor your customers but with the normal version of OpManager, can't you do it? OpManager Freezes On DB Change
I have gotten around to installing OpManager on windows 2003 sp1 and everything works fine from the initial install but when I switch the DB from MySQL to MSSQL it will startup to a point then freeze up. When I try to put it back to MySQL it freezes up too. I have uninstalled and reinstalled OpManger a couple of times and cannot get it to work after the DB change. I made sured I installed the hotfixes before doing the switch when I did the reinstall but no luck. It creates the MSSQL database when

Problem with msp

How can i get OpManager to correctly show the switchport descriptions and the mac addresses on my switches, even the switch port mapper doesnt seem to do it. If i use the oputils its switchport mapper actually works, but still does not list the port descriptions. I have 8 cisco switches and this is a critical element. thank you

UCD MIBs for Checkpoint Firewall installed on Windows
Hi All I am writing management plugin for Checkpoint Firewall and get information from firewall through SNMP call . I am able to get value for RFC1213mibs & other checkpoint mibs from firewall installed on Windows. Not able to reterive details from UCD mibs. I am able to retrieve UCD mibs if Checkpoint Firewall installed on Linux,Solaris. But not able to get if firewall on Windows. Do anybody have solution. Thanks -Ariram

False Positives
Since purchasing OpManager I've been getting a TON of "false positives" on a different array of devices. When I go into the device map I can Update Status and it clears up. If I don't do anything the error typically clears up in about a half an hour. I can't figure out what's wrong. Anyone else experience this issue? Or, have any advice?

Incorrect character display in Opmanager

Active Directory Add on
I have installed the free version and have confirmed that it is the free version in the about tab. Issue I am having is that it shows that the Active Directory add in has expired and it will not let me see the stats on my DC's. I am not sure how the AD trial was installed but I need to be able to see the stats on my DC's.
Unable to find object
I am currently running opmanager 6.0 on Windows2000 server, I have several servers that were being monitored without issue, but all of a sudden when I click on the server for info I receive Unable to find object. I've tried searching the object same issue, they still appear in the networkmap. I have also stopped opmanager executed RepairDB.bat, restarted opmanager. Same issue. Is there anything else I can do to fix this issue ?

Running Opmanager on virutal servers
Hi, I'm running the Central server under a VS and added a different VS to run the probe. but Opmanager uses 100% CPU all the time? The probe is used to scan customers network thru VPN tunnels. I have added 2 Customers network to this probe. but since the Central server and the probe runs with 100% CPU load. It is not running quite as expexted. It looks like Java.exe uses some of the CPU but I cant quite put my finger on any of the processes. Geir

Hi.. Need help!!.. In Opmanager GUI, HOME, there are module for customer view, infrastructure, business view and network view. How can we disable certain module, for example i want to remove the network module from appear in the GUI home. cannot add any windows service monitors - access denied
I can't add any windows service monitors to the servers I've added to OpManager. I've read that the account/password I set up has to be a local administrator on the remote server I'm trying to get info on - what happens if this is a domain controller & I can't add local accounts? I need to be able to add windows service monitors for all my servers, and I'd like to be able to use our domain admin account to do this.
