Please add the following WMI metrics: % Total Paging File Utilization Memory\% Committed Bytes in Use. This 2 metrics are more important to memory monitoring then % Memory utilized.
Rule Engine - Don't Add Disabled Service or non-existent process.
The rule engine almost allows me to apply a set of service or process monitors to a group of servers easily. The problem is, there isn't real intelligence to the rule engine. If I say "Monitor Service X" it will do that regardless of the status of that service. So if the service exists, but is in a disabled state, I will get an alert that the service is down. The same thing with the process: If it doesn't exist, OpManager still adds a monitor to the device but it obviously doesn't pull back data.
Reporting - Threshold Report
It would be great to have a per-device report that allows you to show all or specific thresholds for performance metrics across all of your devices. This would be huge to understand where metrics are set correctly or incorrectly or if we needed to update thresholds.

With over 9000 built-in device templates, there must be a way to mass-delete most of them when we only use about 20 Windows templates most of which are custom. Do I really need to see 1000 3com templates when the company stopped existing 10 years ago? Is there a simple SQL query that can delete everything but Templates that begin with "Windows"? Monitoring Windows Mount Points in OpManager 12 Enterprise
We are currently trying to migrate our entire environemnt to OpManager 12.3 Enterprise. We still have 1 OpManager 11.6 server hanging around to monitor servers with Windows Mount Points. When will mount points be supported in OpManager 12 Enterprise so we can decommission our old OpManager server.

Please add the following variables to the Send Email notification templates: 1. Threshold Value: I see it is a part of the message itself but I would like to break it out as a separate line in an email notification. 2. Custom Dial for Free Disk Space on C: wrong color
I updated my device template to show the WMI free disk space for the C drive. It shows correctly but the gauge color is wrong. It's showing RED for 95% free space. I assumed it would use the monitor thresholds but those don't seem to change it. Is there a way to fix this?

Add MSSQL Monitors - customize action
In the Rule Engine, there is a rule for "Add MSSQL Monitors". This rule triggers an action called "Associate MSSQL Monitors". Is there somewhere that I can specify WHICH monitors get associated? Groups vs. Business Services: Best use and limits
Is there any sort of performance hit that begins to occur with the number of groups or the number of business services? We generally prefer to group end-points by there application infrastructure but that would begin to give us over 100 groups. Is there an issue with that?

We have a small scope of devices and objects that we monitor with OpManager so having drop-downs for Device Templates with a bunch of unused stuff makes it a pain. If we go and delete all of those built-in templates (such as all the 3COM ones), will they be put added back in future updates?
OpManager URL Monitoring - 403 Error
Hello, I am trying to setup URL monitoring in OpManager, and while some sites I am able to monitor fine, others will give me a ‘403: This URL is forbidden’ error and the status will be ‘Service Down’ understandably. I understand it might be a configuration on the site providers side where they will not accept certain requests (maybe CORS?). I am just looking to see if there is anything on the OpManager site that I can do to be able to monitor URLs for these problem sites. Thanks!

Business Service - Add individual monitors or URLs
I like the idea of the Business Service Map but simply adding a server node to a service doesn't fully capture the availability of that service. Are we able to add inidividual performance monitors or URLs to the Business service? For example: A web front-end will have a URL monitor associated with that service. Another example: There are key processes or services associated with that service that I would want to capture.
OpManager Updates
I am looking to apply the latest update as our current version is the original 12 SP3 (12300). I am seeing conflicts though. Business View Problems
Has anyone else noticed problems with business views? I have used the Rule Engine to send devices with specific IP address (defined by regular expressions) to different business views when they are discovered. This seems to work initially, but after reviewing the groups I noticed a few things. The List view and Dashboard views both show additional systems listed in many of the Business Views. The Map View and the Sidebar which display the number of systems in a view seem to be working correctly.
Remote Loopback NICs
Is there a way to filter out unwanted NICs during discovery ahead of time so things like LoopBack or WAN MINIPORT aren't added?
