Opmanager hardware event alerts
Good afternoon, we are using opmanager 12.3. Currently with hardware monitoring we are frequently receiving an event of Hardware Sensor Name : Fan 1.1. Category : fan. Current State : shutdown(4) - The sensor is in non-recoverable state. Is there a way to reduce the severity of the alarm, and is there a way to stop alarms for this fault while continuing to monitor other hardware faults for the device? Thanks for your time

Where can I find the past and current Service Pack fix/change details? The Service Pack Download page doesn't seem to have a way to view that information.

Servers with failed logins
Hi Our AD server report that opmanager server login with a bad password, but when I look in Opmanager all servers is marked green. How can I see what server have wrong credential? It is very bad that Opmanager does not indicate when logins fail. I can not open 200 servers and test to login.
File Monitor: Alert if file NOT monitored
Please add the ability to check if a file is NOT modified after a certain period of time. Right now the option exists to alert if a file IS modified but for those logs that are written to continuously, if it suddenly goes silent for a period of time, that could indicate an application issue.
OPM probe configuration issue with proxy setup.
I'm installing the OPM probe and try to connect to OPM central from internet. The OPM probe was installed in the branch office which goes to internet by proxy, but the proxy is setup without credential. This is the reason I cannot pass the installation process without username and password fill in during proxy setup in OPM probe installation. Is there any way I can setup with the proxy without credential in my case， because i cannot change the proxy server setup in my network.

how to contorl probe to access central?

Opmanager report or view to see each switchport interface graph on one page
Hi, I'd like to see all my switchport interfaces on a given switch, in graph form, on one page. That is, If switch01 has 24 ports, I'd like a view or report where I can see 24 graphs on the same page. Can someone help me with that?

URL Response time graph widget - Can it be done?
Hi I'm trying to setup a dashboard showing various website response time graphs on it, so that we can compare amongst different sites. I cant find a widget that will show response time graphs for a URL though. The closest I can get is "Last n hours response time" under availability & response, but that doesn't show any info if I choose a URL as the device. (they work fine if I choose a typical network device or similar) I'm using Opmanager 11600. Cheers Dave

Edit NOC View Business View
In the NOC View there is a sample Business View Map. When you hover over it the text shows that you can change it by clicking the edit button. There is NO Edit button! Where do you change this? "To change this image create a Business View and select it from the edit option above"

VMware datastore free space monitoring
Hi, is there a way to monitor the percentage of free space on vmware datastores? I am able to setup thresholds on number of MB, which has to be calculated for each datastore, of which there are many, and different sizes. so is pretty impractical to be doing this for each datastore. Thanks

Chat Feature does not work
Can someone assist me? I have enabled chat on OpManager and it does not appear to work... at all. I send chat messages to users logged on to OpManager. They see nothing when I send messages and I don't see messages they send.

hi, I have a few AIX systems which i would like to monitor by type of server. As an example, i have app servers, web servers, db servers etc. When i use the default SNMP Host-Resources Monitors MIB, i am able to retrieve the storage values but the names are in the form /dev/hd1, /dev/hd2 etc. So i imported and am using the AIX mibs to retrieve meaningful names like /home/ or /mnt. Hi, Is there a way to find which device uses which credential, for example a query from the database, or a report, etc... When a user tries to delete a credential while it is used by a device, it can't be deleted. thanks, Omar
Suppress Notifications but Not Alerts
Please add an option to Disable / Enable email notifications globally. During a maintenance period, it is incredibly useful to see the alerts in the OpManager web portal but NOT get hundreds of emails. We should be able to disable / enable either all notification profiles or select notification profiles.
Opmanager v12 having issue with latest devices and WAN link monitor
Hello Team, 1) We have added Cisco 4451X routers and 3850X switches but device homepage we are not getting performance monitor dial like temperature and other. Do Opmanager support IOS XE devices ? Alert's for OpManager Server Down instances
Is there a way to monitor OpManger's connection external? We have Service Desk Plus well and OpManger is integrated with it. We have had many instances of our OpManger server going down but didn't know about it until we got in the office. Being that OpManger is what alerts us of outages, there's no way for it to alert us if the server it resides on goes down itself. Are there any other solutions you could offer?
Run Report on Custom Monitors
Please add the ability to run an Inventory Report on custom monitors across all devices. I should be able to select the Monitor Type in the report such as Windows Service, Process, script, etc. This would allow me to create a Discovery Rule run across my devices then know where a particular Service, Process, etc exists.
[OpManager] user with administrator role but unable to see settings icon and cannot add new device
Hi, I'm having this issue with the Opmanager Build 12200 for user (local or Domain) account which was granted the Administrator role but could not see the settings icon or add new device. If in the user management section for the user's scope i grant it "All Devices", the user is able to see the settings and able to add new devices. But if I set the user's scope to "Selected Business Views" and select the appropriate business views, then I will see the problem where user cannot see the settings icon
Add Windows Service Monitor - Show Startup Type
On a device, you should be able to see the startup type when viewing the list of services. Right now it shows the display name, service name and status. Please add a column for Start Up type so we know if a service is Automatic, Automatic (Delayed) or Manual.
Report and print problems
Hello everybody I've recently installed OpManager 12.3.001 Below are my problems: 1. When I generate a report ( Graphical ), the exported PDF is a single long page which is not printable! I mean, I can print it but it's size is not fit to paper. I have to shrink it and it wouldn't be neat enough to make a manager satisfied. 2. When I change the time from TODAY to any other options and then try to view graphs, it looks all graphs' state is related to TODAY again! I mean, how can I have all graphs
