I need to monitor our file-print cluster with OpManager, mainly for disk usage, CPU, memory etc. Is there an "easy" way to do this? At the moment I've set up the each node of the cluster as an individual server, and set each one up to monitor the resources that are currently hosted by that node. Hi, Today we decided to do a transition to Solarwinds, It's more then a year that there was update, still struggling with 11.6. We don't have time to do a remote session any more. Our concern is not the technical persons in this question but more the lake of communication from your director and managers. They had to inform there customers. Instead they let the technical people communicate through this forum. Its there job to COMMUNICATE by problems as this!

File size monitoring
I know I've seen it discussed in the past and it's been stated that it's an upcoming feature, but do you have any updates on the file size monitoring capabilities for OpManager? I have a situation in which it would be very useful to be able to trend a log file size. Obviously its easy enough to do via other means, but it would be nice if OpManager was able to do it.

Clear alert
Hi. Sometimes when an alarm is automatically cleared the device keep showing at the "devices to watch" but with a green check. As i understood, Devices to Watch should only show devices with alarms. I have waited for more than a day and the no-alarms-device keep showing at devices to watch. Do anybody share the same situation? Know why? Any suggestions? Thanks

Monitor ESX servers
I enable snmp on ESX4 so Opmanager can monitor the ESX. Know Opmanager can recognize the ESX. but it can`t monitor the other modules like CPU usage, memory usage ect ect. I think I have a problem with snmp authentication. I get a message from Opmanager that I need to chek the community name or string. could someone help me with this essue.

Hi all I'm wondering if there is a process or set of standard SQL scripts available that can essentially reset/remove all the VM metrics from Opmanager so that a VCenter rediscovery can occur. I am currently using the trial of OpUtils. I am working on mapping our network switches. I've noticed that my VMWare machines always come up with their parent switch as unknown. Hi... Just test and play with Opmanager v8. But i have a small problem. When im using Opmanager V7, Can view my Disk Utilization on Netasq firewall. But when using V8, I cant view it. Other monitoring running perfectly. Then i try using my 2nd firewall (Snapgear Sg580), Opmanager V7/8 cant view my Memory Utilization and Disk Utilization. Other monitoring running perfectly.
