OpManager network mapping and discovery
Hi,
I would like to know what is the road-map for the network layer 2 discovery and mapping.
I know the new OPM 8721 has something, it is good, but it is not enough for some customer.
Customers would like to:
- see network discovered automatically every x days (new routers, switches and so on added automatically)
- see network maps by subnets or by other kind of selection
- multi-vendor support
- support for Layer 2/3, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VLANs, and BGP
- vlans representation
- export maps in several formats such as: PDF, JPG, Visio an so on
I saw the NetMapper software from OpNET doing something like that.
