How to edit device snapshot
Hi, We see that on many of our servers the Snapshot on the servers shows CPU Utilization information that is wrong. Basicly it shows 100% CPU Utilization. But when i click on the real time under CPU Utilization it show 3-5%. From what i have seen snmp can be tuned to check every 5 mins, but wmi is set to an interval at 45 mins which you cant change even if you do change it in the edit. This seems to be for both CPU and memory. I have set the monitor period interval to 5 mins, but the snapshot

Go into device template and set the partition threshold to 85%. "Apply & Overwrite" the 2003 template to the original windows 2003 machine. The threshold setting for partition details of the device will not get set. The only way to apply the device template with the partition threshold is to first delete the windows 2003 device and then add it back. Because

WMI not an option on Central
Hi, We are in the process of defining the device templates for our servers. When we want use wmi to add counters not default in OpManager, we do not get the option to use WMI when on the Central node. On the probes on the other hand, this is an option. What can we do to enable wmi for monitoring on the Central server too? Regards Svein
QNAP Devices.
Hi there, got a few QNAP devices (www.QNAP.com) to monitor and though the test service monitor gives a response and a value, the CPU and Memory graphs do not show up: I have added a custom template, added the QNAP MIB (Please see attached file), no joy. Also, you do not have the Vendor/Type of QNAP (NAS) by default? Any ideas? Thanks! Adrian.

APC Netbotz temp probe readings display in OpManager alarms
I have created a custom category called Temperature Sensors. I then created a custom Device Template called APC Netbotz 200 and added it to the new category Temperature Sensors. Using OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.318 (APC's PowerNet-MIB.mib file) and OpManager's MIB browser I can select the IP address of my APC Netbotz 200 and see all current information (name, serial number, temps, humidity, etc) for the device. Hi Team, we require option like if any email alert s send it should have URL of the Network Device ( Example: http://172.16.0.1) where we can login directly to the device, is this Option is enabled on Opmanager Build Number : 9000 ? but this option is available after loging into the OPmanager we need that option on EMail alert as well. Multilevel threshold
Hi, Can we apply multilevel threshold in opmanager like Description CPU % Memory % Disk % Attention 85 85 85 Trouble 90 90 90 Critical 95 95 95 when cpu utilization exceeds 85% then it generates attention alert when cpu utilization exceeds 90% then it generates trouble alert and when cpu utilization exceeds 95% then it generates Critical alert. Is there chance to add operating systems into OpManager? I need to set several Servers with differents MS Windows Servers Editions versions of 2003, and we have 2003 R2, r2 Standar and Enterprise, both with 32 or 64 bits. Regards!
different device template for multiple farms of linux machines
Hi, Each farm of linux machine is used for different purpose and has different monitoring requirements. Is it possible to create multiple linux server device templates, one for each farm of machines? Is it possible to get the automatic device discovery mechanism to automatically categorize each machine? Perhaps base on ip address or hostname? One approach I can think of is to run multiple OpManager. This is not ideal because of I have multiple banks of machines for different use. Thanks, Jamesk
