Version 8.6 Build 8600 Not recognising v9 Flows
Hi, Before upgrading to build 8600 this used to work without any issues, now after upgrading it not longer recognises V9 flows from our Cisco ASA5520's. Anybody else got this problem ? Scott.

NFA 7.5 Database Schema
I have been tasked with extracting the usage information for presentation to users in a web browser. Had a look at the database schema (MySQL Workbench) and decided that I need much guidance to workout what bits of data to grab from what tables. Are there any documents on getting summary data in a usable form (NOT pdf) so we can update usage every 15 mins on a web page without giving the users access to NetFlow ?

Data showing unaccounted when viewing a period greater than 1 hour
We have build 9900 Essentials version of NetFlow Analyzer installed and average between 5k-9k flows per second. I have Count of Top N Records to Store set at 100. In an Interface view, if I set the period to <= 1 hour I can see the Top N detail, but if I set it to anything > 1 hour then it shows everything as Unaccounted. So long as the period I specify is 1 hour or less I can go back 5 days and still see all the Top N detail. Does anyone know what is stopping me from viewing the Top N detail for

Cisco QoS policy configuration and DSCP reporting
Hello Folks, One of our community folks found an interesting behaviour in his router. Actually he defined QoS policies to treat different types of traffic in different priorities. And what exactly happening is, he is able to see the same conversation in two different queues and thus marked with two different DSCP values. Admin Operations Not Showing
Hi, I have all stuff configured (NetFlow 7 Professional) but some times we can't see the "Admin Operations" menu itens. I think this problem is related to a Java or JavaScript feature. When I'm using IE or Firefox, I have the same problem, and when I show the "Error Console" window in Firefox, it shows a lot of warning messages and one error message telling "objectRelesed not found". How can I see the AS number (not name)? How can I collect NetFlow information only for a single interface without changing the settings on the router? I don't want to impact out existing Netflow server. Adjusting time till data is loaded into mysql.
I have a custom monitoring solution that uses the data stored within the mysql database and has been working great. But the 10 min delay between raw data importing into Mysql has been causing us issues. Is there any modifications that can be done to adjust or even remove this delay (performance issues aside)?

We have a linux router configured with two interfaces: eth0 & eth1 eth0 (ifindex2) is the external interface providing internet access to a local lan connected to eth1 (ifindex 11). eth0 performs SNAT (masquerade) on all outgoing connections coming from eth1. (and DNAT the other way around) The setup looks like this: Internet - eth0 - eth1 - local lan We've played with several netflow/sflow agents: "fprobe", "fprobe-ulog", "softflowd" and "sflsp"
NetFlow v.9 on Catalyst 6500
Hi, we're trying to get NetFlow v.9 data from a Catalyst 6500 to our NetFlow Analyser Pro Vesion 7.5 Build 7600. It comes up with the correct Interface and all the values are too low. For example if I run sh interface gi1/2 I can see that it has a mean value of about 1,5Mb the last 5 minutes, but in he Analyzer it has never went over 6Kb today and it's laying pretty stable on about 4Kb. Should be nice if somone could give us some pointers!

Resolve DNS not working
I have Netflow Analyzer EE 6.5.0 (build 6501) recently installed on a W2K3 server. When I drill down into a interface to view the specific traffic I am presented with a button 'Resolve DNS'. When I press this the page refreshes but the IP addresses do not resolve to names. I can manually resolve the names from a command prompt on the same server. Any thoughts? Thanks

Problems Displaying a SubInterface in NFA
I'm not sure if anyone else has seen this issue but one of several 2821 routers I have doing NF exports, doesn't display one and only one, of the subinterfaces via NFA. The sub is up and up and I don't have this issue on any other 2821s but this particular router is picking up 4 interfaces not 5. It is not an issue of the sub being unmanaged, it simply doesn't display and i have no idea why. I'm running IOS 12.4(23) on this router. Thanks, Ron

Hello I need to generate alerts when data transfer (download+upload) to one clinet IP address (for example 172.30.4.2) reaches 90% of maximum data transfer 2000MB. There is 100 clients like this, so I need to be notified by mail when everyone from clients reaches limit 90% fo 2000MB. Billing Report Setup
Hi Guys I am new in the netflow so I have a question about the billing report! I have 2 private links used by different departments. One report of all traffic for one IP
I can see how much traffic is generated by one IP source/destination across all interfaces if I do: Interface View->More Reports->Search. I search for the same source and destination, both in and out traffic. It shows a list of all of the sources and destinations talking to this one IP and the traffic for each for the given time frame. How to start services of Netflow Analyzer Enterprise 64bit on Linux
I have problem with starting services in Netflow Analyzer Enterprise. NFA 7.5 SP4 poor performance when running database search
Hey, I have a performance question/problem with NFA. In general system runs fine, but search -report is unusably slow. If I run query "search" from main window "more reports" tab, with search criteria "port 80" without any source/destination, it takes 5+ minutes. Any ideas ? Netflow Billing not updating
I have NetFlow Analyzer 7 Professional Plus. When I updated billing plan with new base costs, the new reports do not reflect changes of base costs. On the Bill Plans List screen, the updated costs are shown correctly. However, the reports ran after the update still show old costs. Any idea why? Thanks. Diane
