Date and Time Stamp on User Activity Reports
Hi, I need to be able to report on individuals and how they use the net across our organization. I can produce a report which lists a users activity over a period of time but it doesn't display when each event happened. i.e. Johnny went on www.facebook.com at 10:15am on 23rd Feb 2010 Thanks, Graham.
90th Percentile vs 95th percentile marker
I have a need to show my reports with 90th percentile marked rather than the provided 95th percentile as is the default. Is there a product setting that would do this. I am unable to find it. We are in the midst of an evaluation and so far I am impressed with the value of your product.
Alert Profiles - Low traffic threshold
Hello, I would like to know if there is a way to set an alert system to trigger when traffic on an interface goes *under* a threshold, not just when it's exceeding a threshold. This also would help investigating some kinda network problems. We're using v.7.0 b 7002. Thank you Flavio
Custom Source and Destination Reports / Netflow Analyzer
I am currently evaluating your product for the monitoring of Netflow data; to replace MARS as a netflow analyzer. Source and Destination reports should be customizable within an IP Group to exclude either the source or destination of the IP Group. This way to can get more than just interface utilization when you have high traffic within a /24 IP group. Monitor traffic between 2 groups of ip addresses
Hi, I want to graph how much traffic (in/out) is moving between two sets of IP addresses. I can create IP Groups and see how much traffic is coming and going from one group but I need info on traffic going between two groups. Is this possible? Thanks for any help/advice.
Nested IP Groups
Is there any way to nest IP groups? We have several sites where we want to monitor traffic for several groups specific to that site. What we end up with is a very long list of IP groups. If we could nest the IP groups, or put them into a tree-like structure, we could have a much cleaner setup. Name Resolution for IPv6 addresses?
I have my edge router exporting both IPv4 & IPv6 flows (using flexible netflow...) to NetFlow Analyser (free version). Now that I have real IPv6 flows and more and more traffic is IPv6 I was hoping to get to see the DNS names of the destinations (and sources) but NetFlow Analyser 9.6 doesn't resolve any IPv6 addresses. This is the 64bit version of the software running on a Windows 2008R2 server that has IPv6 enabled - I am accessing the NetFlow Analyser web front end via IPv6. Any idea when this
Dashboard for Guests
I use the Dashboard to get a quick view of important sites. I'd like to offer that feature to guest users, but the dashboard for Interfaces is not available for guests. Management would like to be able to see a quick circuit utilization by site, but I can't offer that without giving admin privileges.
URL Monitoring
Hi, Does anyone know if the monitoring of URLs for Internet sites will be supported on Netflow Analyzer anytime soon? I've seen and heard that Cisco's Flexible Netflow allows this information to be exported and this would be an excellent addition to the product.

Hi We need to define new fields in Netflow protocol in order to send statistics of our applications. After some search on net, I think Netflow protocol gives us this feature. my doubt is that Does ManageEngine support new fields or we can add new field to Manage Engine? Thanks in advance

NBAR/CBQoS settings page - pop-up window size
Hello, I would like to suggest a change: In NetFlow Analyzer, when visualizing the NBAR/CBQoS settings, the pop-up window has fixed size and if there are more than 5 devices, it becomes hard to manage visualization of all devices - especially when making a report, etc Could you please make the window resize-able? My suggestion is set initial window attributes, but don't lock it's size. Thank you
Exclude option for port/Protocol
I would like to have an exclude option for the ports selection when making IP groups. For example, I would like to make an IP group which includes a certain subnet say 192.168.1.0-192.168.1.255 which shows all traffic except for the traffic that is on port 25,80 and 443. I already look at the traffic on these ports separately in diffrent IP groups and would like to see the traffic that remains when these ports are filtered out.
Packets/flow
It occasionally happens that I have connections on my network that don't transmit a lot of volume, but they transmit a huge amount of tiny packets, chewing up CPU on my routers. It would be nice if Netflow Analyzer had a report that could show source/destination information for IN/OUT flows sorted by number of packets, not just volume. As it stands when I have an issue, I have to configure flow top-talkers on the affected router(s) and sort by packets to find these, but this doesn't show me anything
Alerts based on 95percentile thresholds on interface utilization
I see that NFA already doesn't 95% thresholding, i was wondering we can generate alert based on auto threshold of 95%=, some thing similar to what we have under alerts and we can specify the % of bandwidth. Which is ok on low bandwidth circuits but for gig circuits and FE circuits they are never close to say 80% and it would make lot of sense i can generate alert saying that generate a major alert if bandwidth is >95% threshold for more than 10 minutes. Custom Backup Database
Hi Guys, This time NFA can only backup all DB. Maybe on next version we can customize backup, for example we can only backup "Application Mapping" so we can do fresh installation and load Application Mapping that we used on the last version or last installation.. Thank you
IP group / All group / Input and ouput traffic % based on total traffic used instead of link bandwitdh
Hi, I am currently trying MNA 7.5 pro to monitor 2 Gbs Internet access. I created several IP groups with most hungry bandwidth users. When clicking on "IP group / all groups" the input and output traffic is based on the link bandwidth. Would it be possible to have it based on the used bandwidth ? Won't it be more interesting to know than an IP group represent 40% of the used bandwidth whereas it represent 6% of the 2 Gbits link bandwidth ? Anyway, your tool if very interesting. List internal subnets and categorize conversations
One of the few things I liked about NTOP was the ability to list all of your internal subnets and then categorize conversations on whether both source and destination were in that internal list or not. Essentially you could see what traffic was going outside of your network. I think this needs to be an option.
