We recently got Adobe Acrobat DC Pro (v12) on our enterprise contract with Adobe. I have about 1400-2000 installed copies of Adobe Acrobat XI installed and I only want to push the new updated package to PC's that only have Adobe Acrobat XI. I have fumbled around Desktop Central for about 5-6 hours today and I haven't found a good solution for deploying this software. I do not want to manually have to enter the computer names of the PC's that have Adobe Acrobat XI, so any thoughts? Also we have Asset
Better column width control
There should be either manual control of the columns or more intelligent control by the software. For example in software inventory the software title is cut short while there is still space left on the screen, smaller fields take up the same space, making it hard to tell similar software apart quickly.

Missing Patches from Supported list
Hello There appears to be some additional patches missing from the list of those supported by desktop central, compared to Windows Update Primarily this - KB2956171 : March 10, 2015 update for Office 2013 I don't understand why it wouldn't be in the list. Editing NAT Device FQDN
Hi, When I configured the NAT Device setting initially in the MDM I did not use a FQDN and instead used an IP address. I now have several enrolled devices and would like to change this to use a FQDN. When I attempt to make the change it gives me the following warning: Editing NAT settings will affect the communication with the currently managed devices. Patch Management Desktop Icons
Hi, Is there a way to update patches on machines and not create desktop icons. When i run patch manager on machines, users get desktop icons of the applications just installed. Then they can not delete them without admin rights. Is there a way to not have the icons appear on users desktop? Thanks

I am currently having an issue where all of my clients are in an "agent live status: down" state. Has anyone run into this issue? I have restarted the service and bounced the machine. I'm able to ping all machines from the server and vice versa. Build No:90087

How we should configure Windows Update settings when we use Desktop Central MSP for deploying patches to all Windows clients and servers? Should we disable WU completely via GPO or what is the best practice? I cant find any documentation that answers to my question.
Can the Desktop Central moderator clean up the postings from bbanana?
I see a whole bunch of garbage postings from bbanana that are cluttering the Desktop Central forum. Can the moderator remove the duplicate postings and ask bbanana to quit spamming the forum? Thanks.

With Desktop Central, is there a way to report on the time zones and date formats (eg m/d/yy vs d/m/yy) for all of the computer in the inventory? I suspect we have some inconsistencies and need a way to track them down.

Hi I'm creating APD's for different third party vendor's - such as Adobe \ Java etc Which will create quite a few tasks Is it better to create one task and add all the 3rd party patches to that or create separate ones as I'm doing. I have installed Desktop Central MSP and Service Desk Plus MSP on premise. When users try to use the "Send Request to Helpdesk" feature it responds with an error message stating it cannot send. I have setup the API connection and have a green light on all settings in both admin sections and I have enabled the helpdesk feature in Desktop Central. Hi, I've had to create complex AD synchronization rules to avoid DTC from picking up "name-only computer objects", which represent NAS storage devices, cluster-name objects, instance name objects. It's undesirable to uncheck so many OU's, as that can lead to synchronization problems. So how do you recommend dealing with these objects in order to prevent us from finding our "managed computer" license being reduced by these objects, which we do not, cannot, manage with DTCentral? Initiate installing Patches from Client
Hi I have an APD task that scans, downloads and drafts the patches to be rolled out on some critical servers. Rather than click on deploy within DTC is there a way of initiating the install from the client, so I can do one server at a time similar to WSUS? On my Computer A message box immediately pops up on the mac More Info takes me to the java download page, OK simply closes the message window. We are having a problem with chat where the End Users are closing the popup chat box before we can get a chance to type anything. Why in the world we are having a tough time getting users to NOT do this is frustrating, but the common theme is that they see this blank box (they are ignoring the name in the window header). Is there a way to add a custom statement as a default push, by default, so that the client's chat box shows it once it pops up giving them a bit more information? Probably a feature

Issue with Software Inventory
Hello, We have been uninstalled some softwares in some PCs through desktop central, but desktop central shows the softwares are still installed, I already run the scan many times, but the softwares still exist. This give us issue to get accurate information about softwares installed in our PCs. For example, desktop central shows that there are 2 versions of Adobe Flash Player installed in some PCs, but we checked directly that PCs, only 1 version is installed. Can somebody help me to solve this issue?
