Custom Report - Computer AD Description
I am creating a custom inventory report of computers (notebooks) in a particular OU. I have it working with the fields I want except for the description from AD. The custom report has a 'Computer Description' field which doesn't contain relevant data. If I look at the inventory details pages for a specific computer, I see an 'AD Description' field which has the proper information I want from AD. How do I get that on this report?

EC incorrectly reporting Agent Version
When we did our EC update to 10.1.2228.20 the agent on the computers correctly updated to 10.1.2228.20w. However some devices that were offline did not take the updated agent the next time they hit our network. To fix this I went to the Agent tab in EC.
OU structure not showing up in DC10 reports
I have synced AD and can see the OU in SOM but when trying to run a report against computers in an OU several OUs are missing from AD.

All Active Directory Reports greyed out except All User Accounts report
I noticed we can only select the one report. On the Admin->Reports->AD Report Settings page there is no option to select specific reports either.
Running Custom Reports
Afternoon All, When I setup and run a custom report it starts out fine. I am able to enter the criteria and run the report. However when I try to sort or export for some reason the number of records jumps into the thousands. The majority of the results don't match my criteria after sorting or exporting. This happens to all reports. I have never seen anything like this. Ed
Recently installed software list
Hi, If I click on the inventory in DC and then click inventory reports, and then recently installed software the report loads fine. However if I scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the right arrow to go to the next page, all it does is load a blank page and nothing else. If I change the amouint of records shown on the first page it does display more, but again as soon as I click on the right arrow again it loads just a blank page. AD OU Report Incomplete
When running the All OUs report, we noticed that not all the OU's are showing up. I have set AD Report Settings schedule to run daily but still old info shows in the reports. New computers are getting agents deployed fine though.

Build within report
I have a requirement to export a csv report with the following fields Computer Name Service Tag IP Address Operating System Service Pack Build Last Boot Time Last Scan Time Shipping Date Warranty Expiry Date Agent Version Last Successful Scan Within reports I have the option to select all but Build. I know this is recorded as within Inventory I have dc.common.BUILD_NO but it's not an option within custom reports. any ideas. Also is it possible to add to this report 'Agent Status'? Stephen Fowles

Workstations with error "Asset Scanning is locked" on the Computer Audit Summary section on the Inventory Tab
Good Afternoon, I recently fixed about 7 machines that were showing in the Computer Audit Summary Failed section with error Asset Scanning is Locked on the Inventory tab. I used the instructions from the KB article and so far only 1 machine would not work. I did a wipe and reload on the machine which seems to have solved the problem. Since then I have done about 5 more and then just last week I did about another 5 and I was down to 1 machine and now I am back up to about 5 again. I am not sure what
User not appearing in User Logon History reports
Hi, We have a user that isn't showing in our Logon history or Logged on Users reports, even though when on the Computers section of Inventory it clearly shows his user account being logged in on his machine. Is there any way of resolving this? Could we force his Desktop Central Agent to upload his logs? Many thanks for your help!
Issue with filtering inventory reports after V9 Upgrade
Greetings, After upgrading to Version 9 (build 90001), we are having a problem with filtering inventory reports. We are using the standard "Computers with/without a specific Software" report. Once selecting the software (specifically, all machines without Java 7 update 55) We generate the report and then try and filter the results by computer name. In reports, this does not work (after hitting enter or pressing the go button, nothing happens). When doing basically the same thing under Scope
Lost functionality in Inventory Reports > Local Group Members with build 80364
Hello, I applied Desktop Central Hotfix 80364 last Saturday (19 April) and now my "Local Group Members" inventory report, which used to display members of local groups such as Administrators, is no longer getting updates from our 145 Win 7 x64 workstations (a couple of WinXP workstations and an offline Win 7 x64 workstation are still showing up, so I know it's been working until very recently). Deleted computer still appears in custom reports
I use custom reports to get all computers with their installed Java / Flash / Adobe Reader version and install date. In these custom reports a computer appears that does not exist for more than a year. This computer has been removed from active directory and does not appear in the Inventory view or in the All systems view of Patch Mgmt or in the SoM view. Expried Warranty Report - CSV
I would like to have DC8 send me automated reports with a list of machines whose warranties have expired. Unfortunately when I go to DC8 > Reports > Add Scheduled Report, select Inventory Reports > Expired Warranty and choose to the results e-mailed in CSV format, the report I recieve includes machines that have warranties that have not yet expired.
