Issues with JVM monitors
I'm attempting to set up Application Manager to monitor some simple JVM data. I repeatedly run into a message (when I try to test authentication to the monitored server) that says "Failed. Exception while getting the MBean server reference". I am on the correct monitoring port for this JVM, and I have connectivity (not firewalls blocking) as I can open a telnet connection on that port. Both the monitoring server and target are RHEL 6 servers. What am I doing wrong here? Thanks, James Payne james.payne@fisglobal.com
Mongo monitors not pulling through data in Applications Manager
Good day I've added multiple Mongo monitors into AppMan and while all the counters pull through fine, there are several which only pull through some counters and not others. I've attached some examples (one that is pulling through all counters and one that isn't); what would be causing this? Surely it would either show all or nothing? Thanks in advance! Regards, Mat
Disk utilization stopped working
I expanded the disk on my ubuntu 12.04 server today. After doing so the disk utilization no longer works. I vaguely recall having to enter a command on my ubuntu server to get the disk util monitor to work again. Any assistance on how to get the monitor working again would be greatly appreciated. thank you, PDT

Hi, We are a new App Manager client, and I'm looking for a solution to how best setup the following scenario. We have 2 applications, App1 and App2. Both store their databases on DBServer1. Currently I have 2 monitor groups, MntrGrp1 and MntrGrp2. SMS Action not being recieved
Hi Guys We set up a sms server and App manager sees the modem and everything looks good , when we send a test action we never receive the sms. Where can we see that its actually sending a sms . We can send a sms from the server with a different application and the people receive it. Kenneth
EUM Agent Not Connected with APM Server
Dear, I have installed APM on windows server with port ID 8081 (http://apm_server:8081 is currently running APM ) all the monitoring is well I have also license of EUM .. when i install EUM agent at Client and provide the APM server IP and port 8081. No agent detect on Server ... I have also try to install EUM on APM server to avoid the firewall / network problem but the problem persist. please guide me in this regard
Urgent issue with RabbitMQ monitoring
Hey guys We've had a recurring issue over the last 2 weeks where monitoring on our RabbitMQ monitors in AppManager drops off. Random queues fall away from threshold profiles, and this is causing us to miss issues in Rabbit. This first started two weeks ago when all the Rabbit data stopped pulling into AppManager (the monitors still appeared Healthy and Available, even though no queue or exchange data was pulling through) which I then fix by applying a patch you guys sent me. Rabbit queues not pulling through in Applications Manager
Hey guys I've added multiple RMQ monitors in Applications Manager (as I've done many times before) and while they add fine (credentials are fine, firewall access fine, etc), the queues don't seem to be populating. The Exchanges are pulling through however, and on the Overview page the Queued Messages and Messages Rate visualizations are showing metrics, but under Queues it shows "No Data". I am setting up a database query monitor. I am connecting to a database with a query and have selected Yes for 'show query output'. For now I am just testing with a simple query: SELECT 'MyJob' AS JobName, 0 AS JobStatus Where 1 = healthy and 0 = unhealthy. For the purpose of testing I am explicitly setting the query to always return unhealthy. I have selected 'MyJob' as the primary key. App Manager not starting
Hey guys I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing wrong here, but I know it's probably something very simple. I installed App Manager v12 on a newly built probe and it doesn't seem to be loading the app manager page in the probe. I cannot seem to log in on the web browser either as it says I need to go through the console. I've attached screenshots showing that it is in fact installed and running, and I have attached the wrapper log file as well. Please help :) Cheers, Mat

Ceph through put displayed as bytes / sec
Hi, We configured Ceph as part of Manage Engine Monitor and see that the throughput is displayed in Bytes/sec. This is significantly lower than the actual numbers. Actual numbers in MB/sec where as the display is bytes/sec. Is this a known issue? If yes any work around or fix? With Best Wishes, Subba

Helo, I have problem with add SSH server (Linux Server). If I test credential it look ok. (passed) After click to add I see only this: Failed Discovery failed for the configured resource. I test latest build on my acceptance server before install on production server at the customer. (after problem with 12.4 I tested all build before deployment into production) Thank you for directions which could be a problem. Horizon View Connection Broker | No information
Hi All, I'm trying to add our Horizon View connection broker to Applications Manager, so far no luck. I've added the Connection broker using FQDN and IP, and exectued the psremoting and winrm commands. The is no information shown for the Connection Broker. A more complex SQL script to monitor app status on Database Query Monitor
To monitor the status of an app, I need to monitor a value in CONPRM table called PI_HEARTBEAT, that is updated by app each second or so. If value didn't change after a few seconds, we can assume that there's some issue in the app. I have tried something here on database query monitor but does not seem to work, looks like too complex for use on this feature.. here's the script below which works as expected on sqlplus any ideas? SQL command not properly ended on database query monitor
I'm trying to set up database monitor query but running into some issues. Trying to run a very simple query as the one below: select 'STATE', v FROM DPAADM.CONPRM where P = 'PI_HEARTBEAT'; But getting following error msg at the top of the page when trying to save: Got ORA-00933: SQL command not properly ended The query works perfectly fine on toad. What is frustrating also is that even after putting in another query copied from another healthy monitor and saving it, at the top of the page it shows
Can't find "Apps" tab under OpManager build 12100 (APM Plugin)
Hi, the title says pretty much it all - under the main interface of OpManager 12100 there's no "App" tab. Given the (obsolete?) instructions found here https://www.manageengine.com/network-monitoring/apm-plugin.html#InstallInstruct it should be present. The binary is running in the server, the Application Manager page is reachable at http://<opmanager_ip>:9090 but it will only allow a login through OpManager. Under Settings -> Add-On/Products Integration the Application Manager tab is correctly configured.

Hello, I've got a problem with Application Manager monitors which apparently are not take into account of the license and that is quite fine. Unfortunately, there was is an issue where I was trying to change one monitor assignment from 127.0.0.1 to the name of the host on which the Application Manager resides. This action made Application Manager think, the monitor(it was db monitor for mssql) is a new monitor and the count of those "free" monitors went down to 4. Neither changing assignment back

Mobile App for Android - Monitor Groups Times out
Hello, I can use all other features in the applications except for monitor groups. I have even limited it to just one group, to see if it was too complex, and it doesn't load. I get a popup saying it timed out, and then shows no monitor groups. My user has correct settings and can access via webconsole, i have also tried the administrator account, also not working.
