Tomcat JDBC tab problem
Hello, I have Tomcat 7.X monitor configured and form more than a week I cannot manage to make JDBC tab to visualize information. The DB behind our Tomcat is Postgres. All other information is properly presented but the JDBC tab is empty, no graphs and collected data. Tomcat and the Postgres are installed on 2 different servers. Appmanager, Tomcat7 are installed on Debina Linux and the Postgres is installed on CentOS. Kind Regards, Viktor Mitew

Reading an Output file created by a script monitor
Hello, I am using the Application Manager module in OpManger. I created a PowerShell script to test the availability of two API's. The script runs correctly and creates an output file on the local server. Here is the output in the text file: v3.4=0 v3.3=0 "0" is up and "1" is down. Script monitor attributes in report
Hello, we have created a script monitor to pull some I/O statistic by using shell scripts from Linux, all attributes can be shown in "Numeric Attributes Details" portion without issues, however, it seems that all these attributes cannot be included into reports, e.g. 7 days, 30 days report. Free Edition License File Might be Missing
I installed Application Manager 13 Free Edition Downloaded from this link https://www.manageengine.com/products/applications_manager/applications-manager-comparison.html?btmMenu but after a while the service is stopped and cannot be started with error "License file might be missing" why this is happen? because when i read Free Edition there is statement "Supports monitoring up to 5 apps or servers. There is no time limit on the free edition - you can use it forever." and i only used it for monitoring
APM Monitor Siebel with "Exit code is 1"
I have a monitor siebel enterprise server. I can´t see the information about server list only the name of siebel server. This send the message of Exit code is 1. The monitor is available but this still appear.
Issue with File Monitor
Hi All, There seems to be an issue with FileMonitor. We are currently monitoring our Jboss log file for errors using Application Manager's File Monitor plugin. The error is just a regular expression watching for a particular string in the log file. If it finds the string, it should notify us via alerts. But we have noticed that alert notification is not correct. For example, it says it matched the string but when I look at the actual log file, I do not find the string in it. Configuring Alarms for task scheduler jobs in Application Manager
Hi All, I am new to Application Manager monitoring and was tasked to setup monitoring for our scheduled tasks which run via windows task scheduler. After adding the server into Manage Engine and added all the scheduled tasks into it. I then configured alarm for each scheduled tasks with threshold checking 'Passed' or 'Failed'. I do see few Failed scheduled tasks for "Last Run Result" but then I never receive any alert email. I am using Applications Manager 12. Is there anything that I am missing?
Managed Server Instance unable to Start

XenApp Monitors No Data
Hi, We have added some XenApp monitors for our Xenapp 6.5 farm, I've checked the credentials and can perform WMI queries against root\citrix but no monitors are being populated in Applications Manager. Am I missing something obvious?

Hey Guys; I am trying to configure servers (AIX) using the bulk upload. I have created a credential to be used by them in the Credential Manager, but how do I define this in the CSV file, as the CSV asks for a username/password.

I have been demoing OpManager and AppManager. OpManager has a credential manager that allows to you define authentication parameters for SNMP and WMI in a central location and map those users to devices for monitoring. This eliminates the problem of needing to edit every device/monitor when an password changes or SNMP community info changes. Is there a similar facilitar in AppManager? From what I see in the online demo it appears that I need to enter credentials whenever I create a monitor or

Problem in Configuring Windows Monitors...
Hi Team, In regard to configuring the Windows Monitor for some of our clients i am only facing issues only in specific to Windows Monitors. Even though the User name and Password is correct, gives me a error "failed. Incorrect User name and Password" and Some times "RFC server error". But i am able to login to the servers with the same User Name and Password successfully. The troubleshooting steps for WMI through Winmgmt are not successfully either. Appreciate your help. APM Insight - .NET Agent ** Error 404
Hello I use Application Manage and want to test APM Insight .NET. I downloaded agent version 2.5 and installed it on the application server. After completing the agent installation my application started to display a 404 error. It also showed error in the Oracle client call. Even stopping the agent service the errors continued, somene after the uninstallation of the agent the application became normal. Has anyone had this experience? Grateful Jairo

Hi Tryning to create a HTTP monitor for a formbased login site, but not able to login When trying the Recorder application - it is not able to view the login page. Can you help me? How can I configure the monitor? The page uses formbased login into Wildfly with j_unsername & j_password paramaters. Hi, We are trying to configure a Windows Monitor for a Server with the Correct User Name and Password. But We are receiving the "Error : Failed. Authentication failed. Kindly verify the username and password provided."
