SMS Integration
I am currently looking for some advice/help. I have deployed ADSelfService Plus onto an ESX 5.5 environment but am struggling to get a USB GSM modem working on it due I think to the nature of the way ESX is handling the USB pass through. Has anyone else managed to get this setup and working and if so what modem did you end up using. This is the last hurdle that I need to get completed before I can start rolling this out to my user and is the part which seems to have the least up to date documentation

Locked out user report
Is there any report in ADSelfService Plus that shows the history of an account being locked out? In other words something that will tell me an account was locked out XX number of times this month? Thank you.

More secure DMZ solution?
Are there any plans to create a more secure DMZ solution? Some other products offer a front-end DMZ portal site, and a back-end service that then connects to AD. If I'm going to allow access for external users, I would prefer not to poke a hole in the firewall directly from the portal to AD. Basically the back-end solution offers a middle-man approach.
Updating cached VPN credentials
We are in the process of setting this product up and are trying to configure the 'Updating Cached Credentials over VPN' settings. The instructions are unclear on what to put in the 'VPN Client Location' section. We are assuming this is the c:\dir1\dir2 etc path. Is that what is supposed to go there? If there is only one path allowed how do we accomodate different paths to the VPN client for x86 and x64 clients? Example C:\Program Files (x86)\Client and C:\Program Files\VPN Client

Hello, We have followed instructions in "ADSelfService Plus: Guide to Install SSL Certificate" with a Thawte wildcard certificate. The Keystore generation did not report any error and the SelfService.keystore generated was copied to <install_dir>\conf folder. AD SelfService Password Version 5.3 Build 5307 GINA integration issue on Windows 8.1
Hi, I tried deploying the GINA integration MSI file on Windows 8.1 computers. I am using the last release of the software as you can see in the title. But when the MSI is installed on the computer, and the server rebooted, I don't see additional info in the logon prompt in order to use AD SelfService Password. Did anybody faced that issue already? How can we fix this? Thank you

ADSelfService My Info quick successive update gets the hump
Fast successive updates to My Info in the Self Service Portal causes problems. Firstly, a blank white screen. Then trying to load the base URL again, you get the following warning: "Update your profile details. You have some mandatory profile details that need to be updated. Click Here to update now." Which gives the blank screen again, and you get stuck in a loop, or you get to a "null" page which says: "Sorry,the page you requested was not found. Please check the URL for proper spelling and capitalization.

ADSelfService Plus - Firewall Rule
We have a firewall between our domain controllers and the ADSelfService Plus server. Initially, we found that it was taking about 3 minutes to reset a password. Reviewing our firewall logs, we found that TCP port 464 (Kerberos Change/Set password) needed to be opened. After the firewall was updated to allow this communcation, the password reset feature began working as expected. As more organizations place firewalls within their internal environment, I expect others will see this happen.

I am trying to find detailed information about the " Make Admin Login Page Accessible Only from" setting. I have read through the user guide, googled it, found a page or two outside of the forums but I am not closer to figuring out what this setting does and does it do what I think it does. The way I read " Make Admin Login Page Accessible Only from" is that it locks down the admin page to only be accessed by specified IP addresses. If that is true then what is the separator used to list multiple addresses?

Cannot access to ADSelfService Plus Portal for Admin Login.
Problem area: I had enabled SSL and hide "Self Service Admin Login", I was able to access via showLogin.cc link but I cannot access through AdminLogin.cc link with error webpage cannot be found. Gina installation on XP with no problem but cannot install on Vista Business.

Allow users to Unlock Account and Reset Password
I was under the impression that this software allowed users to unlock their accounts and reset their passwords without having to make AD changes. However, it's come to my attention that in order to unlock their account they need the Read lockout Time and Write lockout Time permissions delegated to them in order to unlock their own account. Is it acceptable form to give all end users this permission and would they then be allowed to unlock any and all accounts?

HI I am trying to create a rule that will change the value of the "Description" field to match the "Title" of the users account. When I set the "Assign Value" to %Title% that is what the end user account gets populated with. The Description now says %Title% Anyone know how to make the Title populate the Description? Thanks
Self Update Layout/Modification Rules
Hello, With the latest version 5.3 build 5305, they added an enhancement for self-update to auto-populate attribute values. I can get this to work to populate a single value, but does anyone know how to get it to populate multiple values in a drop-down list? i.e. when the user enrolls and selects a State, have it populate the various cities within the state? Same with Zip Codes, etc. I can't seem to figure out how to get this to work? Thanks. Rory
Remove User Data
Is there a way to do one or both of these two things? 1. Delete enrollment data for a particular user, even if the account is active. 2. Restrict users based on group membership instead of OU, Disabled, etc. We have a need where we block access to an account by changing their password. If they are enrolled, they could simply reset it!

Some users (not all) get the error message "Your account has been restricted" when trying to log into the portal. How can I remove this "restriction"?

For the user information tab that maps to ADUC.... 1) Is there a way to modify the order of the "Groups"? I tried both Internet Explorer and Edge and am unable to move the Group panels around to reorder them. 2) Since you can add multiple Layout templates, how do you select which one to use by default?

Hi, i want to know how to use certificate generate by my internal CA. I generate CSR on ADSelfService, and create certificate on my internal CA, and follow all the step's(put CA certificate and generated certificate on same keystore and copy to conf folder), but when i try to access ADSelfService using https give the message that certificate is not trusted.
