Trying to reset passwords for group of users in a OU. The are in another OU located in the main OU. When i got to Add any OU to search in it will not change to it. only thing that remains there is ALL
ADManager won't start
Hi. We had to restart our ADManager server today and now ADManager won't start. It just hangs at the java screen. See the attached jpg for image of screen. Note that the text is missing and it's replaced by ................. Please help. Regards David
How do i remove "Patch file" from Manage Engine[Support Center]

Ad Manager Fails to start service

Running compliance report against data Directorys
Greetings, Everytime i run a scan to List the Users/Groups that have access to folders in a specified path and sub directorys, after about 5mins the webpage times out and I simply get page cannot be diplayed. Anyone got a fix for this ? Is it to do with my IE settings ??? Regards

Change in AD
Is there a way to see who made the changes to user AD accounts? Example if someone selected deny this user permission to log on to any terminal server. How could I determin who actually made the change to this user? Is there a way? Appriciate any help on this.
Schedule Report erros..
I am having problems with Scheduled reports. I can successfully create and schedule a reports. Specified advanced mail options: Attachments Enabled and send as files. ------------ When the reports runs, I receive the email with no attachment, and also the zip file created contains no data always 0 in size in the audit-data directory. ------------ I can run the report via the GUI and also export to as .xls, so at least I have this option for now.. Would really like to use the Scheduled
Can AD Manager Plus send an email to users?
I am testing the software to see if it will work for me. I see it does a great job of listing things, such as which user accounts are going to expire soon. (the password that is). I'm just wondering if it is able to then email those users to let them know they need to reset their password.
Changing Dial-in option ?
Testing the AdManagerPlus Demo edition, I am searching for the possibilty to change the Dial-in option for users. It can be viewed by: AD-reports=>User reports=>Dial-in Allow Access or AD-reports=>User reports=>Dial-in Deny Access But I cannot find a way to change it.. Can this be done ? Thanks.

Sort Combo Box entries
We have a large number of departments. In the combo box they are sorted in the order they were entered, which makes it hard to find an entry. Is there a way to sort these entries (alphabetically) or to put them in another order?
Problem with Dashboard View
I recently installed the latest version of AD Manager Plus on a new server and migrated my data over to the new server. Now the charts do not display on the dashboard view, I have attached a screen shot. Any ideas on what happen?
Office Combo Box
Hi We are currently running 4.4.0 (Build 4400). I have populated the combo boxes to make it easier for techs to create users without spelling error etc in AD. I've listed all our Offices (Total of about 25). When creating a user we are only presented with the first 10 options in the Office Combo Box. Can this be extended? Regards David
Can ADManager authenticate with active directory at logon?
I have recently installed ADManager Plus and we have 5 user licenses. Is there a way to authenticate those users through Active Directory or does everyone use the admin account? Thanks!

Bulk Import Duplicates
What happens if you run into a duplicate name when importing? Will it error on that record and continue importing?
OU dialog box stopped to work and scheduled tasks disappeared
Hello, Today I discovered that OU Dialogbox where we select OU for reports etc, is not working, this dialogbox appear , you can select an OU or sub OU but program is not using this selection to generate reports. I discovered all scheduled tasks disappeared and ADManager plus is not updated. It is for us a very bad things as we are using intensivly this software. Cannot move members of an AD group into a different OU
I've been trying to use the AD Mgmt / Move Users function to move the members of a Global group into a specific OU. I have tried this via CSV Import (Nothing happens once I click 'GO') and by searching for the group name ( No Results Available. Please try different Search.). One thing I have noticed is that the OU I browse to in the 'Select the container:' box does not 'stick'. i.e. although the name appears in th ebox, if I browse again, the ther is no radio button against the OU I selected.
Account status of "-" on user reports
This has probably been covered elsewhere but I couldn't find it. I'm running an "All Users" report and some of the users' "Account Status" fields are neither "Disabled" or "Enabled." Instead it's just a dash. There are a mix of "real" users and service accounts, as well as both disable and enabled users whose status shows as "-" Does anybody know what that means? More importantly, how I can get AD Manager to report the proper status? Thanks, Bill
Group management
Currently, ADManager Plus will only allow you to add one group to a user at a time during group management. I don't think we receive any request that requires us to only make one group change per user. Is there or will there be a way to add/remove multiple groups from users at one time. It would seem easy as to when you click on the add group link to bring up the search box that it would be check boxes instead of radial buttons. Check all the groups you and add them all at once. This will save helpdesk
CSV Bulk Import Automatically Feature???
Hello Apologies if this has already been mentioned, but I couldn't find anything. Currently a member of my team has to manaully import a CSV file for when we do a bulk updates on all users within Active Directory. Is there a method whereby this process can be automated? Can ADManager Plus just pull the CSV file from a network share and automatically import and update? If you could let me know I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for all your help. James

Hi, Is it possible to run a user report for a specific group of users. Basically looking for the employeeid and employeeNumber fields. Real Last Logon Not Picking Up all authenticated users
Hi, I'm using real last logon to see which users are aunthenticated against our domian. The only problem seems to be that not all users that are authenticating aren't showing a last login time. Any ideas ? Regards Paul

Is there a specfic report for something like this? I was able to run the Recently Logged On Users report and added the account status coloumn which leads to a second question, when this report is now scheduled and generated is there a way to filter out the enabled accounts and just show the disabled accounts

problems witn emailing reports
Hi. I am making reports and have some sceduled. I have them emailed to our accountmanager, but he recieves empty emails. I have tried running the reports and they are fine with graphics and all, but if you email them, and it doesnt matterif you select HTML or PDF (which is prefered) the email keeps coming in empty. Email addresses work. Whats the trick?

CSV Contents for Modify Users/Group Attributes
Hello, We need to add about 600 (of about 5000) user accounts to an existing group, and as there is no "simple" way to select the users I would like to simply point AD Manager to a CSV file to identify the accounts. Adding a user to the group works fine if I Enter a name Search, and pick the users, but with 600+ accounts I think the only was forward is to select by CSV. So the question is, "what fields do I need to specify in the CSV to identify the accounts"? Thanks Tony Durrant

csv modify users
Hi, we are testing ad manager. Because we have already purchased SD+ we hope that AD manager will fulfill our expectations. In testing process I’ve tried to modify users through csv file. The field that doesn’t want to update is manager field. Piece of csv Samaccountname,manager Jdoe,Allison Donovan Allison and Jdoe has domain account. How can I print out all members of a distribution group ?
Some have too many members for the print view and it only allows to see it on screen by clicking the "more" button.. Regards Tim

Hi, I am having difficulties in the user templates side. I created a new user template with only "AGuser" in the "Member of" field. When I now create a new user using the template mention above, in the "Member Of" field there is the "AGuser" and for a reason in which I do not undertand the "Domain user" is there too. The "Domain user" is not in the template so why is it automatically put in? Thanks for your help in advance, Rosanna
