Email password to newly created user.
Hi All Is there a way to email a user their new password when they are created in AD via bulk creation via csv. The users getting created will be using external email addresses eg gmail hotmail etc. and will only be logging into sharepoint. I have ADManager Plus. Would i need another product to do this? Create new AD Manager User with AD Manager Authentication
I want to create a new user account in AD Manager Plus which uses AD Manager Plus authentication. When I click the + to add user, I can only choose from my active directory domains. Are we not allowed to create new user accounts using AD Manager Plus authentication as an option? ...or am I missing an obvious check box somewhere? Thanks
Lync & Exchange modifications in Automation?
Are there any existing (or if not are there any plans to include in a future release) ways to modify a user's Lync & Exchange attributes as part of the automation? Currently I have an automation set up for expired user accounts (i.e Leavers) which disables the accounts after 30 days & deletes after a further 30 days, also removes from some mailgroups & security groups at various points along the 60 days. User Modification Template
I am working to create a user Modification template for our retired employees. The mandate has come down that no employee will EVER have their email account deleted. So far the group stripping works great and moving to a different OU works too. Is there a way to migrate the user from one Exchange Mailbox database to another using the user modification template? I just started using the product but cannot find an easy way to view what AD groups a user is in. Also is it possible to compare the groups that 2 users are in?

Active Directory: Access Control on a group of users based on their attribute
In AD, how can I grant access to password attributes for a group of users without creating a new OU? Is it possible to specify grants based on users' attributes, e.g, grant access on all the users who area member of a group? Any solution with ACL inheritance etc. would work as long as the users are not moved. Thanks

Is there a way to auto populate a field (like user description) based on other imported data? Here is my scenario: I work in a school and we are mass creating students. To accomplish what we want we essentially need four things: first name, last name, school and year of graduation. Modify user not working
I have recently had to reinstall ADManager Plus from scratch. I downloaded version 6.3.0 and when I was setting up technicians in the console I ran into an issue when attempting to modify a user. It doesn't let me edit any users I just receive the attached message in the browser. I don't have multiple tabs open. The only work around I have found is to delete the user completely and add them back with the changes I needed to make. I have attached a screen snip of the message received.
Put user in correct groups + put in correct OU based on department attribute
Hello, Is there a way in AD Manager that I can assign a rule that would place a user into the correct groups and OU based on the users department attribute? Delegation - o365
Hi How is delegation working, on account sync'ed to o365? Is it set by delegation rules ? -could it be the same rule as for delegation on OU in AD? If user1 is set to do something on OU1, will user1 only be able to change settings and license in o365 for users with dirsync matching OU1, or will user1 also be able to change settings and license in o365 in another OU ?

Is there a way to show user account is locked out on the User specific tab. So when our helpdesk people are looking at a user in AD manager it will show the account locked out or not?
