Dialin settings for template
Under Modify Users list, you guys have the ability to modify the dialin permissions of accounts...I need that same feature when creating a template. When creating bulk student accounts, I have to go back to set these to allow remote access policy, making this a ridiculous two-step process. Since the template has no settings, it saves dialin as "deny", which prevents our students from accessing our wireless network. This must be changed! David Bolton
Delete home/profile folders and mailbox
Hi, I've tried setting the delete policy to delete the home folder and terminal services profile folder when deleting users. This works fine as long as the folders are empty. Is there a setting I might have missed that allows me to delete these folders and any subfolders they might have? Also, the delete user function does not seem to delete the mailbox. Same question, is there a setting for this? Now I have a mailbox that I'm unable to do anything with. Best regards, GB

More granular templates. We would like to be able to setup templates that allow us (within the template) to specify what OUs rights are assigned to. This would ease site-based delegated management immensely as we would not need to make these restrictions on each and every user account we add. It would also make user management in the portal admin tool more intuitive and flexible. Reset Password options
I wanted to see if there is a way to limit the options for resetting user passwords. By this I mean when the HelpDesk tech logs in to reset a user's password they have the ability to do the following for the password: 1) Generate password 2) Type a password 3) Same as user logon name 4) Leave password blank We want to limit this to only generated passwords. How do we accomplish this? Also if we can and do accomplish this is it a system wide change or can it be designated to specific roles or something?
NTFS
Would like to search Network Shares for user/group whose name is listed in NTFS security. Not looking for permissions. Just if name is applied to a share so I can verify which shares an individual or group has some sort of access. This will help determine two things If there is a user defined to a share but not part of a group & what groups are defined to each share. Paul Knapp

The default days for reporting inactive object set to 60 days. When i change from 30 to 60 it allways runs a full AD discover! Why it is not possible to to run a report without that refresh? hello, I am evaluating admanger plus 4.2.0 B4230, when i have a fresh install of 4.3.0 , then restore the backup DB which was made in 4.20 , then it said not compatible , what should i do ? or how should i export the customize setting such as name format、Password policy etc to the new version ? Custom Scheduled Reports
It would be great if I could run a scheduled inactive employee report for one OU instead of the default "all OU"s. There is no OU selection when using scheduled reports. Better yet, it would be greate if it was possible to have the same options for running a one time report and then applying a schedule to it. There also no ability to choose CSV versus PDF, or Excel on scheduled reports. This product is great, keep up the fantastic work guys! Michael Caraballo

Self Service Portal change
Our IT Director has been looking at the AD Self Service Portal feature within AD Manager as a standard. He likes this but wishes to change and display an additional custom attribute we have that holds the users Work Ext number. Adding DialIn field to all users ADreport
I've been trying to add a field to the All Users report under ADReports. I've selected add/remove columns - Add Custom Attributes & put in msNPAllowDialin as my LDAP name to generate a column displaying my dial in users & tried all different data types. This adds a column but does NOT populate the column with the dial in users - what am I doing wrong?? Have wasted much time on this. Custom Script - pass %LogonName% through to batch file?
Is there a way to pass the %LogonName% of the user I am creating on to the batch file using the custom script? I see the example in the Custom Script area, where it says to use %username%. I have tried that, but get these results (creating user testuser): Successfully created the user; Script Execution :" C:\Program Files\AdventNet\ADManager Plus\bin>echo Username is ADManagerService Username is ADManagerService " So, it see's %username% as the service account that is running ADManager, not the user
