Error deleting home folder while deleting User Object
Hello, While deleting a User Object in ADManager, the AD account and mailbox were successfully deleted. However, the home folder does not get deleted and comes up with an error message: 'Successfully Deleted the User.Unable to Delete the homeFolder - The system call level is not correct. - Error Code : 7c .Successfully deleted the user mailbox permanently.The associated user object also gets deleted in Active Directory' Note: Delete policy is setup to delete home folder and mailbox. Please advise.
Report Data Refresh Rate
I am running the report Mailbox Enabled Users. As I run it I find things that need updating/changing in AD (Departments, Titles etc.) I change those in AD. Click the "Sync" button under the AD Explorer but my report data never changes. I search for a user I know I changed in AD, I can pull up their profile in AD Manager and see the changes have been made. But the report information shows the old AD information (i.e their old title not the new one that shows in their AD info). How does AD Manager
Report Data Refresh Rate
I am attempting to run an exchange report and having difficulty having the data refresh. As I look at the report I find AD information that needs to be updated (title, department etc.). I am updating it in AD then go back in to AD Manager and can see that the changes have happened when I look at their profile. However when I run the Exchange report and bring in "Department" I still see the old information. I have tried to force the update through Domain settings and refresh but I cannot get the
Problem with Database restore after update to 6360
Hi, I have attempted to upgrade our installation from 6251 to 6360 today. I've followed the instructions: Stopped the service Backed up the database Also made a copy of the product folder Installed 6.3 Then installed 6360 These steps have all gone fine. However, once I attempt to restore the database, using restoreDB.bat, I get the following error: The backup file is not compatible with the current version of ADManager Plus. Any suggestions? Printer Reports
Currently the "Printers Report" is not available to be scheduled. This would be a helpful report to schedule for once per month so that we can keep track of our network printers and their configuration. Could this report be made available to be scheduled in a future release?

Hi there, For non-Super Admin's, we can't seem to find the specific setting to allow technicians to choose the template when creating a single user. Creation of new Contacts with external SMTP addresses not successful
Trying to successfully create a mail enabled contact (Exchange 2010). I've tried different combinations of the settings for the "External E-Mail Address", "Additional E-Mail Addresses" and "Automatically update e-mail addresses based on e-mail policy". The contact record is created OK and does appear in Exchange, but there are no email addresses in the list on the contact record in Exchange. I can create the same record using the Exchange EMC and the SMTP email address is populated correctly.
How to Automate Adding User Photos
Thank you so much for adding the ability to upload user photos! I am wondering if there is a way to automate this process? Ideally, I would like the upload process to look in a designated folder for .jpgs added within the past 24 hours and upload those. If uploading by most recent date isn't possible, I would be happy with a process that would upload all .jpgs in a designated folder at a daily scheduled time. Is this possible or will it be in a future release? Thank you!
Edit icon missing - Report from CSV?

Is there a way to perform bulk modifications on user modification templates like the user creation templates? We have just as many user modification templates as the user creation ones and it's crazy to have to modify each mod template when making changes like group memberships.

Remove and not replace unwanted characters using a naming format.
Hi, i'm trying to remove some special characters like the apostrophe which by default is an acceptable character for the logon name. I'm able to replace it with something else but this is not the result i want. Ex; the user John D'amour with my current naming format will have for logon name d'amojo But it must be damoujo or damojo I tried to trick the umlaut table but i can only replace it and not remove it completely. I already tried replacing with a space as the spaces are trimmed, invalid character

I need to create a new user template that utilized a alpha character and a random 6 character number (i.e. E234532). I can only find how to set specifically defined characters, not random. Is this not possible with ADManager?

AD Manager Plus Application stops when loging out from server.
I have been running AD Manager Plus for 30 days without any issues on a Windows 2012 R2 server, but now suddenly when activated a license the AD Manager Plus application stops working as soon as I logout from the server. So I have to logon to the server again and start the AD Manager Plus application again. As long as my account is logged on to the server everything is working as it should, but as soon as I log off again the AD Manager application stops again. I can't find anything in the Event viewer
Automated Task
We want to set up an automated task to check users in a specific OU, 1) If they are members of the email distribution list that correlates with the OU that they are in 2) if not remove them from the incorrect one and add them to the correct one. Does anyone know of a way to do that with ADManager or would I need to find a different route Thanks in advance
Hide System Template from Requesters view
Hi I have built a new template for our requesters to complete, however, when they go to Request a new user, they are displayed with the System Template by default and have to change to another template manually. Is there a way to hide the system template from the end user. I have already set the template i want as default and this appears under AD Mgmt > Single User Creation, but not under Workflow. Using DNS to point to my AD Manager Plus server
I have AD Manager Plus installed on a server on the network. And I want my administrators to be able to use a DNS to reach and logon to AD Manager Plus webpage on the server. (DNS record called "admanager.mycompany.com" pointing to that server.) But how can I configure the AD Manager Plus on my server to answer to that? I can point to the server with my DNS server, but not to the port that I have on the AD Manager Plus port= :8080 Is there a way to configure this?

Can you confirm the *earliest* version on ADManager Plus which fully supports SMB3 for homedrive creation please? I.E. you DON'T have to uncheck the Encrypt data access box when creating the share on the storage which ADManager Plus will then use for Homedrive creation for new users? Thanks in advance

User creation with custom username
Good morning, We have the name structure as AZB, first letter is the first letter of the name in this case we can say Andy, last letter is the first letter of the surname in this scenario Bobby so we have a new user Andy Bobby, the middle letter is the alphabet in reverse this is our first user with the initials AB so we assign Z to them. When I made changes in AD Plus Manager for first name and last name. It got changed but when I search with new changes, that user does not show up. I can search with user name and it will pop up or I used old name and I can get the user account information.
Exchange 2010 Mailbox Creation - Legacy Mailbox
I'm currently evaluating ADManager Plus. We already use ADAudit Plus and like that product. I've created a custom template to create a user. It seems to work ok with 1 exception. When the Exchange mailbox is created in our Exchange 2010 environment, the mailbox shows up as a legacy mailbox rather than an Exchange 2010 mailbox. The template has the server setting to automatic and the mailbox database automatic. Does anyone know why this occurs? Thank you Ted

Hi Is it possible to : - Have write management in a set of group - AND have view rights when using "Search AD objects" when using delegation rights What i already dis : - create a delegartion with "Group attribute" -> add to group - create a technician with a limited scope of group. Special Characters not being imported correctly
Hi, I am currently modifying some user account information and there is a é in the text when I go to import throught CSV import I get a weird character in the place of the é. When I check the Active directory once imported I have a � in it's place. I currently have the newest build 5240.
