We would like the same features as users have, except for contacts instead. We basically want to manage a number of DLs with external addresses. OU Based Help Desk User
I would like to setup a helpdesk role that locks the user into a specific OU. The reason behind this is to keep our helpdesks separate and not allow them to query other parts of the AD. I want to setup my Human Resource dept to be able to modify the basic information of users, but on an independant scale and without the use of importing a CSV file. I would like to be able to enter bulk CONTACTS. Contacts with email addresses that are external to our organization. I have CSV files with many names and e-mail addresses. Hi We are using ADManager Plus to create accounts, it creates the AD account, but does not create the mailbox. I have looked into similar problems and all seem to say log in to the account, or send email to the account and it will create it, but not in this case. service not starting on windows 2003
I have tried to install the ADManager on one of our servers (not a DC), and it installs, but the service won't start. This is the error box that comes up with I try to start the services from services.msc: I then installed it on another server and it works fine. Is there anything specifically that might be conflicting with its operation on the first box?
