Hi all, I am looking at this software for the first time (trial version) and like it so far but I have a query that I am hoping I can get some help with. I see that all events are recorded such as changes to AD Groups, password changes, etc and I was wondering if this Audit tool keeps a log file anywhere? We did not enable logging in our infrastructure because we did not want massive log files appearing. Does ADAudit Plus keep a log of everything it records and if so, where is this kept and is there
Database growing while archiving function is enabled
Hello everyone, We have been using this awesome tool for a while now with the database stored on the same virtual machine as the application itself. We have enabled the archiving function but still the database is 20GB and it keeps growing. Folder:C:\Program Files (x86)\ManageEngine\ADAudit Plus\pgsql\data\base\" Support is welcome :)
Top User Logon Failures
Hi there, I am doing some testing using the ADAudit Plus tool and just working out how to use it generally and I noticed that on the home screen dashboard it is reporting 'Top User Logon Failures' and some of the users have logon failures rising into the thousands in the space of two days!! Surely this can't be correct? Is there anywhere in this tool that allows me to drill down to see why one user has 5.92k login failures in two days (see below picture)?
File Server Auditing - problem with #
Can anybody confirm that File Server auditing in ADAuditPlus has a problem with a folder named: # Organisation When we analyze a folder for the report "successfully file read access" we can't get any informations about that folder. We suppose, if a folder named # Organisation is inside a folder structure FileAudit has problem to log changes in this folder. Thanks in advance Patrik
ADAudit Plus initial installation: Accumulated more than 3678427 critical alerts that mean nothing
After my initial installation, ADAudit Plus has been running a week. Having accumulated all these meaningless alerts, I'd love to simply delete them all. I can't sit here for the next month deleting 100 at a time. There must be a way to purge these in one swipe. . . right? Thanks for your comment(s) ahead of time. . . Custom Reports Filtering Problem
Hi, I am having an issue with the filtering on Custom Reports. I have created a Custom Report based on AD Objects/Group Management with the intention of filtering for a specific group or specific groups to report on the changes to those specific groups only, and the reports are all empty (“No data available to generate the report”). ADAudit Plus Using External Database
Hi, We are trying to deploy ADAudit Plus using external database. The application will be deployed on AWS and we plan to use RDS Postgres instance to host ADAudit Plus database. My understanding is that currently the default database is PostreSQL so this should not be a problem but the implementation team report that they cannot use external database. File Server Auditing Problem
Hi Everyobody, I've in trouble with File Server Auditing, even though I completed all the steps described in help documents and also videos, file server auditing is not working as expected. GPO setting is OK as described, I tried auto and manual configuration several times. It is also linked to related server OU. File Server share permissions is also OK as described in help documents. Now the system only reports the administrator's file actions, it is not reporting the other users file actions

File Intergirty Monitoring is not getting reported

Account Lockout Analyzer - does detailed documentation exist?
I am finding very little help on how the account lockout analyzer is used to determine where a lockout occurred. Is there any detailed documentation or how to videos, etc. to explain how to use this feature? Example, I can see that a lockout occurs for userxyz on caller machine computer123. But, if I go to the account analyzer to find out more detail, when I click details, all I see is a collection of informaiton. And, in the case of Exchange, I find the data irrelevant in some cases. We are using File Audit in our ADAudit Plus console to track folder/file changes. I was wondering if it is possible to configure reports and email notifications on the following occurrences: - Copy of a large size file? - Copy of specific file types? - Folder, but not individual file, deletion? Manual AdauditPlus and Netapp Filer (cDot)
I wonder if there are any manual how to configure NetApp Filer with clustred DataOntap (cDot) version 9.0? The manual in the program is not for cDot since the cifs options dont apply to cDot 9.0. I also wonder how AdAudit Plus knows which user to use on Netapp? I have tried doing it according to different manual I have combined but I only get: "Error in getting Shares, Access is denied - Error Code:5" Hoping there is a much newer manual! Thanks /Catherina
ADAudit for multiple domain forests
OK, I could have sworn I posted this question last night but I don't see my original post anywhere. So please excuse me if I inadvertantly double-posted this topic. I have two domain forests, 'Domain A' and 'Domain B'. There are currently no domain trusts between the two and a firewall divides the two. MS SQL database on different server
I have been trying to figure out how we can move our MS SQL database for ADAudit Plus to a different server. I have found the steps for the Detach & Attach of the database within MS SQL which is straight forward. What I am wondering is if there is a command that has to be run for the ADAudit Plus application to tell it where the database exists after the move. I don't see anything in the UI that would allow me to change where the application points to the database. Thank you!

Suddenly getting Code 522 error
Starting last night, my file server and AD server are giving this error is ADAudit Plus: A required privilege is not held by the client - Error Code:522 Why would this suddenly change?
Supported SQL versions
Can someone please tell me what versions of MS SQL server are supported by ADAudit Plus. If it could be listed out in a way that shows the version of ADAudit Plus and the corresponding supported MS SQL version that would be ideal. If multiple versions of ADAudit Plus support more than one version of SQL please list that and vice versa. An example would be: ADAudit Plus 4.6.0 (Build4685) - MS SQL 2012 Thank you!!
Migrate AD Audit Plus to a new server
Good Morning, I recently saw a post here about moving the AD Audit Plus applications to a new server. That post was over 5 years old. I would like to know if the procedure is still the same or is there a new procedure? Auditig of process creation and termination
ADAudit Plus Process tracking report is not working. Auditing of Process is enabled in the domain and able to see events 4688 and 4689 in the server event log. But nothing showing up in AD AuditPlus process tracking report. Please advise.
Problem when exporting reports to PDF
When exporting an AD report to a PDF, some of the fields are getting cut off so all of the information is not displayed. This does not happen when exporting to other formats, only PDF. Is this a known issue? Is there a workaround?

I recently purchased adauditplus and the netapp extension but it doesnt look like cdot 8.2 or 8.3 is supported? Can you please let me know if it i supported and i am mistaken, or can you let me know when you might get this feature implemented.
BUG - Changin custom report privay from 'Just me' to Public fails on new interface
Fails on new interface as above. UI says it has completed successfully but the change does not take effect. If I switch back to old interface it allows me to change scope.

Default SACL does not track permission changes to files
It seems the default SCAL only tracks permission changes to folders and not to individual files. Was this a design decision?
ADAudit Service Pack
Hi, i had an issue when i tired to migrate ADAudit Plus from build number 4693 to build number 5000. in fact, after the installation of the service Pack, the ADAudit Server does not start and the problem is that "ADAudit Plus\jre" folder did not be replaced but it was keeped and a new folder is copied "ADAudit\jre_new". in my case the problem was resolved by only renaming the two folders: jre-->jre_old, and jre_new-->jre. i want to know if the Service Pack was applied in a production enviroment that
Collection against Netapp file failing - Issues after Installing Build 5000
After upgrade to build 5000, collection against NetApp filers fails with this message Error - The System cannot find the specified path Config is a s follows: This path has been working for the last 2 years across the various service pack release. To get it working I had to change the EVT path to \\filer1\CIFS_Audit_Logs$. Seems any undocumented change in the behavior of the product in build 5000.
